I made my first PVE raid today. Those pmcs are just as stupid as scavs and are no threat

Yeah just download the Singleplayer Tarkov mod, when you add the submods for AI it makes it WAY superior to PvE mode in vanilla

SPT is the only way to go rn for PVE tarkov

I agree, it has gotten hard to complete tasks because the first 2/3-3/4 of the raid is spent holed up defending, ending raids with no ammo left, over 20kills, and still needing to do the tasks is annoying. I have found that using suppressed weapons helps marginally, but if the scabs start shooting it’ll still draw others in. For me, night time and suppressed has been the biggest help to mitigate hordes

@@gsfblocker3558 it feels like that’s how every raid ends for us lol. No ammo, 15 kills each, we’ve barely moved in the last 20 minutes, a backpack full of loot and no quests completed lol.

@@gsfblocker3558 the economy and loot tables in pve are insanely broken. I had 20 million roubles before level 25 running interchange. I will be continuing my SPT play through until they make PVE mode more like live tarkov.

Those PvE raids are freaking me out. I did a scav run and right from the start I heard shooting and grenades going off everywhere. I get to where I heard most of the noise and find at least 6 bodies and a bloody trail that eventually lead to a dead pmc. It seems that PMCs are moving through the map now.

​@@kennytendo7255You should play the Singleplayer Tarkov mod, there's submods for the AI that make them WAY superior to "vanilla" Tarkov, it makes the AI feel more like actual players with different types of AI (like, you get "Chad" PMCs that like to push, and you get "Timmies" that like to run away from fights...it's more complex than that, but you get the drift). They loot bodies and even do quests, as well as then try to extract. It feels natural, and honestly PvE vanilla Tarkov is still much farther from competing. Installing the mods are pretty easy, I would advise looking it up just type in "SPT Tarkov"

@@tnima95 well, you already get the gold indicator icon on items that are quest related. So probably redundant.

@@Fishman362 they already do kind of? When you find a quest item it has a special symbol and when you hover it, the item will say what quest it’s required for. Or you can wishlist it under the task list.

I imagine for PVE the raid is over once you die. Maybe I'm wrong. Getting everything back in insurance is broken but like for the new quest where you have to wear the armor getting it back will be the only way I'll be able to do the quest for awhile. Spears will also be like 10 mill on the flea haha

Pmcs will loot, not scavs. Makes the game have more interactions. Would be boring if the pmcs just walked around and did nothing. Now if you kill them they could have good loot!

@@XIADSX Scavs were actually already looting before, albeit not very much. They'd yoink stuff from bodies and crates every now and then though. However, they don't seem to be able to pick things up off the ground so if they come to steal your loot while running a scav, you can just discard everything then loot it. lol

They're FAR from that, so I dunno...though, I do think that BSG feels threatened by SPT, so that's a good thing if they feel like they're challenged and thus have to compete

It's not like that too much now. I see pMCs gunning down scavs constantly now, but I have been just running customs for 2 days.

It's going to run worse for everyone. Locally hosted means performance degradation but every dummy was calling for it and this is why everyone shouldn't get to vote. lol

Not from this, but I've had this before. Just close it out and keep opening it. It seems to happen when I use my 2nd computer.

@@XIADSX everthing on the wishlist, no mather wich thing gets added to the flea wishlist. so one cant have a flea wishlist with certain items if you are going to use the new wishlist. so no, you cant "make another one for flee" thats not how it works atm, wich is the problem i wrote about.

@@nuffsaid6229 I do. Your items still show up on the flea market. So I don’t understand why you have a problem with it. Anything you put on your wishlist shows up on the flea market w-list tab. So what’s the issue.

Probably for some. It starts a local instance if you are going into a raid as a PMC, but if you are loading in as a scav it's still a server instance so your frames should technically be better as a scav if anything. I would say your frames would be better as a PMC on streets as well given loading into that map is still a server instance but it's streets so probably not.

On the pvp side at least. If people get experience in doing them at their own pace on pve, they might be enticed to try it in pvp against players especially if the pve AI is beefed up to believable levels.

@@xSinicle I think the biggest issue is the pockets are kind of useless by the time you get them. Same with kappa imo. Most people get it and it’s like “what do I do now?” lol.

If you’re hosting the match yourself it isn’t surprising you’re losing frames. Plus with the AI getting an update it would also put more load onto your cpu

90 frames is not unplayable. I've played a lot of SPT and it has always been common to get stuttering when bots are spawning in. I imagine it's similar in BSG's version of PvE.

Tbh, I don't think they'll ever fix it. This update shows that they don't understand what any PVE player is looking for. PVE will turn out just like Arena. It might just take a bit longer. lol

Just download the Singleplayer Tarkov mod, there's submods for the AI that basically emulate the PvP vanilla game where the AI loot, do quests, and extract like players do, and they even have different archetypes where AI PMCs will act different ways based on what archetype they are; it makes it so that you can have groups of AI PMCs, so like two stacks to even four man teams, they'll even talk to each other and give orders to flank and whatnot. Overall just much superior AI when you get the right mods, they just work right off without needing to mess with settings. Combine that with other mods like the Realism mod (if you want a challenge, obviously if you don't want it it's all up to you), mods for more guns and attachments, more gear items, getting to have all clothing available to purchase, etc and it becomes basically like an singleplayer survival RPG in a way. Oh and, there's another submod called "Fika", and guess what it does? It lets you play co-op with your friends! So, not only can you do raids by yourself with loading times for matches of usually LESS THAN 30 SECONDS for all maps, you can do it with your friends too with the same super low loading times, it's never going to be more than a minute...it basically spools a local server on the host's PC, and using Hamachi you connect your friend's PC to your own and voila...you have a FREE co-op experience with superior AI and superior game mechanics with ton more content

I might have imagined this but I could have swore at some point during the backlash they said they would provide PvE as a separate mode for purchase in the future.

They stated that an edition to be bought seperately is coming in a couple weeks

This is like paying sony or microsoft for online play, monthly, with their consoles. We shouldn't accept this, it's either part of the game and available for everyone or it's not.

Do they still barely shoot scavs because from the changes they listed, it sounded like a bunch of changes were made that all technically have a negative effect like stealing your potential loot. Not that the changes weren't needed but that they didn't make the positive changes required to counter the negatives at the same time.

​@@iDeaglesthey are shooting them a lot more now. As soon as I load in I hear consistent gunfire for awhile and keep passing dead scavs. Is gets more sparse as the raid goes on but I see and hear them killing scavs way more.
