Your stipple brush looks much stronger than others I have seen on-line which seem to have rubber prongs rather than bristles. Could you tell me where I can one like yours please for my decorator? Someone below in the comments mentioned a sealer and I saw something else on youtube about preparing the area with something to aid porosity but can't find it now. The ceiling area was repaired over 10 years ago when there was a leak from upstairs but my decorator couldn't replicate the stipple effect like you can so it looks a bit bald compared with the rest of the ceiling which is nearly 40 years old now. Could you advise on this please as about to redecorate again? Thank you so much Gill
I like to repair or patch the artex to match the surrounding artex pattern. If I applied a different pattern to the original my customers would go nuts. Just saying cos I repair artex ceilings every day due to leaks, light fitting removal, extension work, accidental damage etc
I'm waiting for artex to come back in. I don't think the artex itself is the problem. It's the old fashioned patterns. Some geometric patterned artex would look cool as a feature wall
