I recorded this in a batch with the other episodes that I also forgot to do a price check on, which is why I didn't do the price check part here! However, I recorded and edited this two weeks ago and only just made it public because work was really busy last week and I didn't have time to do a thumbnail til now, so any price checking would've been majorly out of date anyway :o
For those who don't know, if your suffixes are full, just use a wild bristle matron beast to put suffix cannot be change on it, you'll save almost a divine each try
@@stefanjennings4666 you buy the beast or you farm it yourself (but buy it its faster), then you right click on it to put it in your bestiary. And then you can use it in the menagery.
What I like to do for boot crafts is starting out with Fractured life. Bases are still super cheap at 5-10 chaos. Then spam essence of envy until you hit Good suffixes (spell supression is 1/16 on pure evasion boots) use a wild bristle matron to lock suffixes and then veiled Chaos orb. Block mana und unveil movement speed) then craft the last prefix. I probably crafted around 50 boots like that this league and they usually sell for 3-4 divines pretty fast.
Since (ignoring magic find) there are basically only 2 good boot prefixes, this is the way to go, as it lets you craft on 80% or 100% freeze avoidance in a prefix slot that would pretty much at best just be hybrid life or magic find otherwise. Definitely for the chill avoid boots which likely indicates a piecemeal elemental immunity setup.
The moment I fully wrapped my brain around the harvest change resistances my life became so much easier. I used to roll over so many great suffixes because they weren't the resistance that I needed
Appreciate a crafting guide for the common player! I know crafting isn't actually as hard as it seems, but it's also great to have just 'good enough' gear on a nice budget for when I'm not investing multiple divines into a piece of gear.
Two items I'd like to see crafted are a high cooldown reduction shaper belt, and a perfect agony amulet with both crit and dot multi. No idea how I can get to crafting them in SSF but I'd really like them for a certain build.
You can only get 20% CDR on belt though right? Best I've found is simply awakener orbing CDR with whatever other mod helps your build since awakener orbs are dirt cheap this league. I've slammed 10+ belts together because of the price
Shaper stygian base for 60-80c depending on market, then just use ur prismatic catalyst, and apply the same principal with essence of envy (or others ofc) untill u hit a high tier cdr and and ur choice of a third suffix, hope for life during essence spam, u just craft on life and slam some exalts for a budget craft. I've crafted a bunch of these belts at league start and earned a bunch of profit just from "scrap" crafts along my own project craft. GL
@@MrZynical the odds of T1 CDR and 2 suffixes t2+ is like 1/9000 essences. You're better off awakener slamming CDR with something else. Costs 1c to buy t1 CDR bases for awakener orbs.
nice vid but u cant get mana on that boot base cuz its not an energy shield base, ud essentially want to block hybrid life +armour/evasion cuz its a mod with a higher weighting
What would you have done if the veiled chaos orb filled up your prefixes? I assume just annul and hope for the best but I'm wondering if there are safer/cheaper options to avoid restarting completely? Also, would you use similar methods for gloves/helm? Are there any good unveils or is it only really worth it for boots? And if not, what would you do differently at that step? Do you lock suffixes and just chaos or fossil spam or something else? (sorry for the noob questions, I am just getting into crafting). PS Thanks for all your content, after watching this video I crafted the best set of boots I've ever owned.
If u want to craft good belt just buy hunter belt and slam essences ofc you can do that but i pref elder belt and fossil (pristine and aberrant) more life and more chaos and rool tilll you are happy but before that use catalist for life to get 12% max life and 110+ hp elder give you chance to get chos res during any flask and get normal chaos res and then craft chos res/ele res in bench its so its nice if u dont need that just go for hunter belt my belt cost like 1.4div fossils and 2 div crafting and here is my belt Item Class: Belts Item Class: Belts Rarity: Rare Blood Snare Stygian Vise -------- Quality (Life and Mana Modifiers): +20% (augmented) -------- Requirements: Level: 68 -------- Sockets: A -------- Item Level: 86 -------- { Implicit Modifier } Has 1 Abyssal Socket (implicit) (Only Abyss Jewels can be Socketed in Abyssal Sockets) (implicit) -------- { Prefix Modifier "Fecund" (Tier: 1) - Life - 20% Increased } +99(90-99) to maximum Life { Prefix Modifier "The Elder's" (Tier: 1) - Life - 20% Increased } 10(8-10)% increased maximum Life { Prefix Modifier "Magnifying" (Tier: 1) } Flasks applied to you have 10(10-12)% increased Effect { Suffix Modifier "of the Order" (Tier: 1) - Attribute } +35(31-35) to Strength and Intelligence { Suffix Modifier "of the Elder" (Tier: 2) - Chaos, Resistance } +24(20-25)% to Chaos Resistance during any Flask Effect { Master Crafted Suffix Modifier "of the Order" - Elemental, Fire, Chaos, Resistance } +15(13-15)% to Fire and Chaos Resistances (crafted) -------- Elder Item
Eater fluence on boots are kinda super niche and awkward compared to Exarch. Action speed is something everybody wants but exarch also got other universal good stuffs like movement speed, onslaught effect, res, drop alt ailment ground, with Eater, it's like avoid ailment, or if you're playing ignite, poison or cooldown based builds, otherwise everything else are crap.
@@brandonkruse6412 If you want to make the case that people running hit-based builds are richer and you can fleece them that's fine. Most DoT builds don't want phys as just like hit builds don't want ailments deal damage faster. As said in original post, eater mods are niche- cooldown reduction of movement is generically useful to basically everyone.
I toyed around with crafting a bit, more like trying it out because i am a fairly new player, and got pretty good boots for my character ( with spell suppression and movement speed and resists, even hit good stuff with that exarch blue and red thingies). But this belt...omg i need this. I paid few dosens of my last chaos orbs for one stygian belt and it isnt even half as good. And i dont have any divines to buy expensive ones, i didnt got a single drop of divine yet...dont even know how it looks, but i have a ton of all kinds of essences and catalysts ( i didnt figured how to sell it and i've been just keeping them, and every map has at least 2 groups of essence monsters and every other has that catalyst guy ). I think ill find the cheapest normal stygian belt and make my own xD Cool video..tnx xD
why do you not use the beast "add a metamod to an item" if your suffixes are already full? they are 1.1 - 1.2 div each and you are guaranteed to hit suffixes cannot be changed if your suffixes are full.
If youre about to spent 2 divs for a slam you might aswell get any good fractured base. And you can get pretty much same results without spending 2 divis if you can settle with basic t2 movement speed
1:44 - Great tutorial. I think there was a missed opportunity here to tell your audience whenever you get something that looks good but isn't for you, price check it and see if you can sell it. That base is still valuable to someone else!
And one more question. What do you think about replica farrul's fur? It gives you maximum frenzy and endurance charges. So you can drop frenzy gem and use cwdt+immortal call.
I always start my craft with: a fractured base with a lab enchant and the specific eldritch mod I need (if possible) to save me time rolling it and just orb of conflict it up.
Add prefix/ remove suffix would have been safer instead of annul. Also if you want to spare a few C, eldritch exalted orbs are usually cheaper than regular ones
Like brofst said, you can get Focus mods from the crafting bench after you have unveiled that modifier from a veiled item. Obviously that means you can also get it from veiled items too!
I am not sure if the way you crafted those boots is so cost effective, you can probably buy better boots for 1 div and make implicits yourself I think. Good way to craft boots but using 2 div craft on very basic boots is not really the best way I´d say.
It's hard to find affordable boots that are completely crafted with a goof enchant:( not sure what the market looks like now but I'd be surprised if I found the boots I made for less than they cost to craft! That being said, it's always good to check because you could be right and there might be a cheap pair up for less :)
@@Lolcohol love love LOVE all your videos. Not really sure what those numbers mean, but it felt like sensory overload to me with the music at that volume. Either way thx for listening
Go look at the prices of a fractured base with a good enchant on week 2 and you'll see a very obvious reason why I didn't start with a fractured base - every base like that cost 5+ Divines at the time.
@@jgmweston 2 divines is not that much tho. I doubt that you'll be able to find belt with such good mod tiers for 2 divines or even 3. Moreover he slammed hunter exalt that costs almost as multimod craft does. Now he has 2 absolute worst mods possible instead of good damage boost. Risk wasn't worth it imo.
