If you cant sustain a single map (granted you have your shit unlocked), then you are doing somethong wrong terribly. You can literally sustain your maps by running them blue.
This is actually not the best way to do it. If you have 4 voidstones those shaping nodes don't do much. I use singular focus with strongboxes and Concealded Logistics + Eldrict nodes to duplicate map drops, you can get around 4-6 maps per run.
Actually, those shaping nodes still have full effect because of how map drops work. They will increase the number of maps you see because more map drops will be upgraded and skip the queue.
The map "upgrade" nodes are still in full effect even when you have all voidstones and every map is t16, and is a major part in any map farming strat because of it. It has to do with poe's map equity system. You definately shouldn't skip the nodes if your main goal is to drop as many of your favourite map as possible
mbXhype. Also all the maps are connected, it should really say all adjacent maps. Or all maps that are endpoints in the edges of the current map (which really rolls off the tongue)
I did a t10, 75% quant, 35rarity 40 pack, all 6+ moded, the scarab that gives 10% per mod (so 60% more maps) and the one that gives 300% more and used 3 of them WITH Singular focus. I filled my favorited maps with strand. The map was moderatly packed with mobs. At least 2 packs of 10+ per screen. How many strands do you think is fair to get with such an investment? 12? 15..20 maybe? I got 1. 1 fucking strand map. Fucking stupid.
