The main problem I have with pot is how punishing the dying is. It wouldn’t be a problem if we could at least grow at a decent rate, but questing for 3 hours and then getting jumped 3 times in a row and lose the progress is just exhausting.
I mean it depends on the server, on official for example it takes a really long time to grow but you dont loose much at all when you die. But atleast it isnt like the isle...
Nothing worse than them pretending to be friends and chilling to then kill with loads of them. Not only they sneek attack (unfair) not only betray you (unfair) but 4v1 you as well
Whenever they do that kinda scummy stuff I just sit down and sleep. Refuse them the pleasure of fighting me. If they gonna kill me anyways by scummy tactics I won't provide them the fun of a fight.

It's a vibe check, if they gonna gank a player they better have the balls to face what they doing. Sone don't, lol
This is why I stay away from Hotspots unless I actually want to fight (which usually ends with me getting bodied by multiple people, so eh). I did have one neat battle against a Dasp with my Meg where his friend actually just watched! That was nice. But what annoys me are other things. Like people that kill bbs for absolutely no reason. Like that Hatz that killed my bb when there was a corpse like five metres nearby. It's just stupid and pointless. Or when a baby attacks me and I fight back and suddenly everyone targets me, like wtf did I do But my main trigger is really just pointless baby killing. I don't even mind kos for trophy or baby killing for food but for no other reason than "haha they can't escape"? Ugh. Or resource gatekeeping, like that one raptor pack that chased me away from Tiger nuts but didn't kill me, that was perfectly fine too. I don't mind looking elsewhere, it's just the pointless killing that bugs me and when I complain I get a "this is a pvp game bla bla bla", it's a survival game most of all, not a "kill everything that moves even an inch in your path" game. Thankfully I haven't had many people betray me yet. The only thing that I have a lot that bothers me is when I'm hanging with another baby and they want to visit every damn hotspot in the world, or start egging random adult. Like I just wanna quest, leave me out of it bro 😂😭
I also was constantly getting killed as a baby for no reason, especially when i just started pot and didn’t know what spots are least populated. It’s exhausting to be honest
@@crayonzii When I started, I kept going to IC because that's where all the fun people were and nobody told me it was a hotspot. This one guy kept targeting me and when I asked why, he said because I don't fight back (it was on a friendly community server, mind you). In that week I learned all about hotspots and how to fight back as a Pachy, but I also nearly quit the game. Wish people were a little nicer to newbies, I for one love teaching new players or just helping them out.
1. You died on rhamp because instead healing on a rock, you collided with a spino 1:39 2. You got trampled as a raptor and should have seen it coming 1:47 3. You pounced struthi's hip and didn't expect to be kicked? 2:13 you aren't immune when pounced. 4. Ripping kick on raptors is pretty useless that's why you never see them use it. You probably could have had a better outcome if you were running pounce instead. 3:48 5. You keep playing eo and wondering why you get attacked. Eos are a frequently targeted dino. Also you always take it to gp or ic and players like me go there to hunt. 6. Dasp was probably friends with the cera. Game literally has a tip on the pause menu: "Don't fear the dinosaur you can see, fear its friends you can't see." 10:26
1) Wanted to use the bloodsuck to regain health so went to pounce to use it but it collided instead. 2) Yeah but was behind it and didn't actually touch the rex. 3) True, but the point is why can it kick air and do damage. 4) Personally like the Ripping kick as a non PVP player it deters most attackers afterwards. 5) Not wondering at all, hunting is fine, it mixpacking that was the issue here and was literally asking what we did wrong. Nothing more. 6) Well yeah!
Had some douche invite me to a group right all was going well we were doing quests then this mofo decided to attack me for no given reason while I was getting water. Luckily I was a sky rat and was able to get away. Literally this person wouldn’t talk in chat or anything even when I asked them stuff 🤷♀️ I have kinda stopped accepting requests. I’ll except some here and there but it’s rare now 😞
This is exactly why I play rhamp, as a solo on officials if I play anything other than a raptor or flyer I’ll insta die and spend the rest of the server running back to IC
this game sucks. I bought it played it. I spent most of my time as a t rex just picking up flowers. WHo the fuck thought that was a good gameplay loop for a dinosaur game
Think the questing is just temp for now, not 100% sure but think this wasn't the actually plan they had for the final game when it's done. And the game overall is great, just some players. 😀
The reason I feel those deinos caught you was they had tail fan and was prob in a group and since deino has a group buff that gives it 10% extra speed a speed deino with that is actually faster then speed hide also I definitely wouldn’t run speed hide cause it more then doubles your turn rate
This is why I hate official servers. Play a semi realism server. They have slight rules that make sense and make gameplay actually fun and enjoyable…yk…playable
1. Do not use stomp on eo, it is better to learn to use precise movement and use traction for better turning. Eo has one of the best turning radii of the apexes. 2. Bone Break bite is noob bate, go for heavy bite or the other bite instead. Also you need tail attack to swat people chasing you. Bone break is only useful if you are grouped because you have a better chance at landing the bites. 3. your velocity on your rhamp was too fast and you didnt use pounce in time, id use precise movement to slow down and then pounce. 4. Ripping kick is effectively useless. Pounce is much better and lets you land bites on big things easier. (the bleed on ripping kick is basically nonexistent, so the name is very misleading) 5. Dinos with kick attacks like struthi, pachy, cerato, and conc can kick you off/injure pouncers. I tihnk lucky feather got triggered here, that basically saved you from getting one shot and gives you a chance to get away. However as soon as you started using blood sucker to get health back, it de-activated lucky feather, and thats why you died. 6. If you can tell that your opp is putting 100% of their all in fighting you, like how the conc was waiting and getting stam back, then assume it as friends. Small raptors will always lose to 2 slots. An update is comin that buffs pachys and alios, and now deinon got speed and stam buffed so there is a lot kos people killing lone chickens lately. 7. Rex v eo combat is essentially just face tanking. you want to keep facing them the entire time, and use precise movement to make sure they dont get around behind you. Also, the achis, amargs, and 3 rexes were all a part of the same big mixpack clan, you would not have won with 2 eos anyways. 8. For achi use regular bite, regular claws. Ripping kick is useless for bleed or damage, use it instead as a dodge forward or speed boost to catch up or get away from things. Use panicking sprint and the abilities that improves your stam and jump stam/control. All achis use panicking sprint because it gives you 25% extra stam, and lowers the damage of nearby players that are attacking you 9. Ceratos are good at killing small raptors and can 1v1 chickens, if you did not want to fight your best bet was to use your better stam and ripping kick to get away I dont know why youtube wouldnt let me post advice on your last video but im trying to post here Edit: it worked lol, if you need anymore advice lemme know. I'm not a sweat but ive been playing for a hot minute
1. EO without Stomp always get tail ridden to death by Meg etc and Stopm deals with them so worth taking of a measly 5% IMO. 2. Right OK, can never seem to land the bigger bite :( 3. Even though pounce on raptors isn’t very reliable at all and sometimes is totally busted I’d say unless they make little raptors ripping kick cost little to no stam it’ll be worse even though pounce sucks
Surely you hang out with others at times? Was hanging out with a few of these for well over half hour. Defo don't trust them but this game is often about numbers, nout can do if the rest just decide to attack surely no?

Ripping kick on the small raptors is terrible and raptor strikes is only good in a group, using both together is a very bad move imo. I recommend using normal, kick and tail fan along with bark if you want to run a kick build raptor or run stikes/bite (I recommend bite) with pounce and tail fan for a pounce build group raptor. As for the not pvp side it just takes practice, I’m the same as I’m more into the survival and support roles but on officials you have to fight so I’d say just practice on a pvp server like juniper no mods Gondwa server to improve, you will rarely get a 1v1 but it’s good experience
Yes Path players are obnoxious, sweaty tryhard kids with inflated egos and dominating servers with mega Discord groups. That being said...there are so many ways that you've got to improve if you want to stand a better chance as fighting KOS people. Small raptors: tail fan is a MUST. Great for escaping tough situations or catching up to fleeing enemies. Ripping kick SUCKS for small raptors. Small raptors are built for pouncing and is much more efficient. In regards to eo, face tanking rexes is a death sentence, especially if they have the low growl (lowers damage received to the face and chest). Attacking rexes from behind and the sides is preferable because their turn speed is pretty slow compared to an eo. I don't wanna be that person but I am very curious. If you aren't interested in PvP at all, why do you play this game? Most of the fun comes from just fighting and killing other players and improving your combat skills
Thank you for this, will take it all on-board, however with all due respect, you say "tail fan is a MUST", but 100% disagree as it 90% of the time allows us to out stam others, we just showing the deaths here but we live more than die. In regards to not into PVP, It's more the just fighting for fighting sake I dislike, I love personally trying to out wit the hunters and like hunting questing hanging out acting like dinos should. I don't find just fighting for no reason fun at all. But that's just one person :)

Face tanking a rex as trike is a big no, you are more maneuverable than a rex, dont just stand there face tanking them, Rex wins face tank 95% of the times with ease

Where exactly is the complaint about PVP? PVP >survival< game exactly. Not just kill every blooming thing that moves. Going to Crater with anything is NOT asking Plebs that have been hanging out with for a long time to suddenly turn and target.
