My review of the pathfinder 8' folding skillet with lid. I love this skillet/fry pan. I have looked for several years to find a fry pan with a fitted lid to properly make hash browned potatoes the right way and this is the real deal! I LOVE this pan!

Alright, you sold me on it! Ive been hesitant, afraid of food sticking and burning the bottom but otherwise. Its the perfect size, design and has a lid. I need it now!

Great to see a woman's perspective on this pan... I too prefer a good fitted lid, and to find one with a folding lid is a big bonus for my to go kitchen!!

Yes, the folding handle with a fitted lid was impossible to find until now! And its a great price. Just watch your heat level. I'm used to cooking on cast iron or with heavy stainless steel copper bottom pans and this takes less heat or you will scorch. But yeah, I love this pan! I didn't want a detachable handle and the folding one works great! Happy camp cooking!

Get a scotchguard pad at the parts store for cleaning burn marks. Or 00 steel wool either with your favorite dish soap, works great. Maybe called scotchbright pad, comes in about 10 x 12 inch sheets, I cut up in quarter sheets

Sorry for sounding so stuffy, it had been raining for 4 days! Glad it helped. I couldn't believe its next to impossible to find a fry pan with a fitted lid that has a folding handle! Happy camping!

You SOLD me on it, I watched this review, I've had the pathfinder store up for days, going, should I? Should I?. Was in their comment section and see this link to a video, LOL, and Guess who? Ok, OK, I'm buying it NOW. Thank You so much, I know I'm gonna love this pan too.

You will love it! Having that fitted lid is the bomb for in pan steaming! Sorry for the sniffly review but it had rained for 5 days while I was camping. Its almost camping season again for me! Hurray! Cheers!

@@DeafDalmatian have you tried this "season" trick? Does it REALLY work?How long does it stay non stick?

@@BOOSTEDLASER No I haven't tried it because I don't want a layer of oil on my pan I'm a cast iron user at home at that is ok but prefer a clean pan when using stainless or anything of the like so no oil leaks into my other dishes or sauces. I tend to cook a couple really nice meals while camping for 5 or more days! Really its just a great sized small pan, the folding handle is killer for storage and that lid is to die for! Finding a well fitted lid for any pan with a folding handle was a years long search! My pan looks like I've had it for 10 years! LOL! If you season it tell me how it does afterwards when making different foods! I'd love to know. I'll even toast a bagel in mine.

have you checked out the ikea stainless steel kids set? super small fry pan. You could cut the handle back. Check out the youtube videos on the Ikea Duktig. The mini wok is my egg pan!
