Beautiful reaction, Guy! I feel like all of Ren's songs are my favorites, but if I HAD to choose, I think I would choose Patience. The song feels like it plays at the heart of Ren's soul.
He is extraordinary..as a fellow ME sufferer. I had it for 23yrs and thought I’d got rid of it but it came back after getting Covid. It robs you of a normal life, and yet most people think you look fine. Ren is such an inspiration. Thank you for reacting to this stunning song 🫶🏻
Yes, the person who held the camera was invested. It was Ren's friend, Ayesha Jones. I was emotional from the start when Ren was talking about how long he has to spend in his room and then signs this beautiful song about not giving up.
Thank you very much for reacting to this one! It's hard to chose a favorite Ren song, but this one has always been special to me. I think it's a beautiful song! And I have started a painting inspired by it. There's mountains near the sea with a lion on the shore with a heart on its chest. This song is one that makes me proud and gives hope
I believe this is when he was misdiagnosed as having ME instead of Lyme disease. I guess very similar symptoms. He is Amazing, I just can't get enough REN❤
@@hilarycharman-2924 like he had to grow up in a short span of time losing ones childhood but discovering empathy on a different level through pain " We are all students of pain "
It is painful to see Ren at this stage of his illness, the pain, sadness and how weak his body is. Yet he shines with his talent and never ending hope of finding a way to become healthy again. They say "hope is the last thing to be surendered by man" (translated from the Swedish saying anyway) and I have many times felt how true this saying is because even un the darkest of moments there is that one hope that keeps us holding on, once that hope dies, that is it. Ren never let that hope die, even if he came close at times and with what he went through most of us would probably have given up. He is a fighter, strong and true to his one goal in life, to find a way to live and not just survive ❤ I draw strengh from his example in my time of need and keep reminding myself that the pain will pass and better days will come... Another great reaction to a very important song by Ren. I feel that all his songs fill a purpose, as they are fragments of Ren's soul that he choose to share with the world. ❤
Ren at the core of his beautiful, vulnerable self❣️A perfect example of his fragile strength at the time…Seriously, how is it possible to love someone you never met as much as I love this precious human being! Truly life changing🙌🏼
This song is my go-to for when I'm feeling like giving up the fight against my autoimmune disease. The movie it's from, Unrest, is available on RU-vid and is very worth watching. Another fantastic reaction 💜💜
As long as there is hope, as long as there are still paths to travel... and what happens when all paths are exhausted? My dear Ren, maybe it turns out that taking a single step, perhaps none, may be closer to you than breathing, than the beat of your heart... what you are looking for to relieve the pain may be intimately linked to you; it has always been; you cannot see it, the pain and suffering is a great veil. I hope that someday that terrible vital anguish will dissipate and you will see what you always were, what we all are... LOVE. Meanwhile...patience. As always, it is a pleasure to see your reaction, your emotion and your analysis. Thank you.
This one always gives me so much hope. Maybe one day I'll find the key that unlocks my health improvements, too. (I have severe M.E, so much like Ren was at this time in his life.) The other story with this song is that this time last year a renegade called Rob who had terminal cancer wanted to play it at his funeral. He didn't know how to trim it to cut off the interview at the start so Ren sent him an edited version and some songs from Sick Boi months before release just in case he didn't make it to listen with everyone else. Rob is no longer with us, but this song helped him comfort his friends and family one last time. ❤
Im so happy that he is shining now, and we get to experience that with him, and its amazing. If anyone deserves to its him. Being as sick ad he was an and still is, but still working so hard for his dreams. Man such an inspiration 👏. Thanks so much Guy, hope you gave an awesome day and stay safe ❤
For me this is a fight song. He starts out a bit timid but he builds it up, he instills it with determination and it just feels empowering. Also, that line, ... "for the day when I can truly shine..." tears me up because he's there, he's shining.
@@TherapeuticReactions yes he is. Have you ever heard of The O'Jays? You should check them out if only for yourself their songs just make you feel good 😁
Thank you so much for this lovely reaction, Guy. This song is truly special, so raw, so very strong in the face of Ren's struggle to regain his health, to be truly able to lead a full life. Your responses to this jewel were so sensitive and moving. I am very grateful you reacted to this wonderful song by Ren. In many ways, I thought he wrote it to program his own thoughts and actions...and it Worked! Thank you again. I love your reaction 💜
