Diagnosed as Benign carcinoid tumor (OSSIFYING FIBROMA)
He developed swelling on rt side of face since 6 to 7 years - biopsy showed Ossifing Fibroma In 2018 After standard preparation he was operated. Tracheosotmy was done by ENT team. Surgery was done by OMFS team headed by Prof. Shahjahan Katpar and was assisted by Surgeon Maria Shabbir. Tumor was exposed and excised along with right hemi maxillectomy. Bleeding was efficiently controlled. Extra skin was removed and the incision was closed.
He was in SMBBIT for 37 days. Finally discharged on 14TH September and was asked to come for follow up after 2 weeks.
