Sorry for the late response, I did a little research for you to best answer your question. It will depend on the type of flagstone you choose (there are others such as Grand, Linear..), but the dimensional flagstone mentioned is less hot or slippery because of the texture differences. But in general because flagstone reflects sun, it can get pretty hot underfoot, and it can get slippery if wet. Still, flagstone handles different climates very well and doesn’t expand and contract when the weather changes. Which means it will last a long time and is an easier installation process or "fix it" if something were to happen to it. 🙂 Great question.

I would lean towards the lighter colors probably the Belgard products. I hope that helps... 120 is pretty hot :-)

@@BackyardDesignGuy I made a 27”x27”x2.5” paver molds with mesh inserted in the middle then rolled silicone flagstone roller on the top … painted with acrylic paint mixed in a pump sprayer and sealed with epoxy and its looking great 👍🏿
