It feels like we may never have these long, poignant moments of surreal vibes anymore in anime, where it's just music and beautiful art on display creating something more than the sum of its parts.
Mannn the soundtrack for this whole movie is one of my all time favorite OSTs and the imagery and story is just so amazing, the visualization of the illusion of peace is just so incredible, no movie will ever be as compelling and meaningful as this one
Dang man, old anime just looks way better; especially the background art. I understand that the way they do animation in Japan is different since the earlier 2000s/90s/80s/70s/60s. But they can mimic it with the new technology that they have. Not even anime needs to be high resolution; I'll take this any day.
