This time I am covering another film in the "movie" timeline of the Patlabor series. WXIII (Wasted 13) takes place before Patlabor 2 and thus it is only fitting to get this one out of the way. I also take a look at the Minipato shorts which should be fun. And I will get to covering Patlabor 2 and the TV series.

This one was quite interesting, I remember not entirely liking it as a teenager, but owning it, I had to watch it again to make sure and ended up enjoying it, especially as a background to playing some military strategy video games. It reminded me of maybe a "what if" to a semi realistic Godzilla combatant movie. Not horrible, but not entirely the best. ☕🐝🇺🇸

@8:30 I definitely agree, it felt like they were trying to keep the vibe of it being in Patlabor 2, ghost in the shell type movie, but didn't have the right people, so they just winged it and got pretty close.
