I'm the same way. I thoroughly enjoy the people around me genuinely, love anticipating being with them and making plans, but I don't EVER need anybody to be with me to do shit that I want to do. There's concerts of musicians that my friends wouldn't want to see, i don't care, I'll go alone. Even if I made plans with friends to go somewhere, concert or whatever and they flake because things happen, I'll go alone. I don't care. I'll literally go to a decent restaurant and eat alone, I don't care. There's people that are seriously scared of going places alone, thinking that they won't enjoy themselves, thinking that other people will think it's sad... I think they're weak people. Can't go hiking alone, can't travel alone, can't drive a certain distance alone, and probably pee sitting down.
