Patricia's voice is beautiful. But her voice in 2016, two years later, had improved immensely. A much more secure and world class voice. I look forward to listening to her in whichever way she decides to continue with her unique gift.

WONDERFUL PERFORMANCE by PATRICIA JANEČKOVÁ of the AVE MARIA by G. Caccini [actually Vladimir Vavilov about 1970], A WORK I NEVER GET TIRED OF! Beautiful setting, beautiful live orchestra accompaniment, beautiful young lady (14 years old here) with a beautifully trained classical voice. Patricia adds her own ornaments toward the end. She has the flexibility to be an opera star and/ or a great concert vocalist; she's started very young; look forward to lots of rave reviews and awards! :) From Czechoslovakia, I believe...

Quand on a une voix aussi pure avec un don aussi extraordinaire il faut en prendre conscience très vite et savoir que l'on n'est pas un être humain comme les autres. Il faut travailler et être à la hauteur de ce don. Si le Ciel vous a donné une voix aussi magnifique vous devrez comprendre que votre destin est de diffuser ce qui est beau et grandiose pour parler à l'humanité entière. Bravo et merci. Vous serez une très grande artiste du XXIe siècle.

If my arithmetic is correct, she must have been fifteen years old at the time of this recording. I still prefer one of the recordings of this "Caccini " Ave Maria (actually by Vavilov) sung by Sumi Jo. But congratulations on this, all the same.
