I have a pair of scissors like Arnold’s, very sharp and expensive German Gingers. They cut fabric like hot butter. And when my kids were at home, I hid the scissors between my mattress and bed springs. I didn’t want them to ever get dulled on paper or accidentally cut a finger off. I’m happy to see Patrick has his ears intact! Can’t wait to see the Staircase!

Charlize Theron loves Guillermo and she actually goes out of her way everytime she sees him including her sons soccer camp- apparently Guillermo was at the same camp with his son and she ran across the field screaming for Guillermo and threw herself on him and he was with a. Bunch of other dads and they were shocked lol there is an interview about it but every Oscar she looks for Guillermo and it’s genuine - they’ve been close for years!

Those scissors are another astonishing {and a bit scary too, on their own, I'd say} and refreshing example of Arnie's unmatched sense of humour and, most of all, self-irony. Only someone like him can be called the absolute perfect example of how possible it is to be equally capable of knowing when it's time to take yourself extremely seriously {work ethic} and when not to take yourself too seriously either {basically anytime the circumstances a smile or even a laugh gets loose out of nowhere}. So much respect for that man, from me... Schwarzy is an icon in Body Building first and in movies later on, but there's nothing even more iconic than his smile, which I believe it's equally one of the secrets, if not the greatest secret, of his unbelievable success along the decades. Legendary!

For coming from such a famous family, Patrick appears very down to earth and has definitely earned his way into acting roles. Good for him, hope he has a longer career and if superstardom comes to him like it has for Arnold and Chris Pratt, he looks well adjusted to handle.

Patrick did amazing work in the Staircase as well as all the other cast on the show. People in Hollywood tend to undermine famous actors' children following their career path but let's hope that there are more actors like Patrick who shines through the projects on their own and make a name for themselves. Myself I have only had a smart "phone toy' since March of 2022. The only reason is my flip Mil Spec phone could not be upgraded so they gave me for free a $729 phone because I have been with the carrier since 1998.

I've just finished the first episode of Gen V and he was amazing. I loved it! If he didn't do OK at The Staircase, he probably took some acting lessons and got better. And he look a lot like his father. There were some takes where the resemblance is uncanny.

the rest of us not having a phone would be impossible, when someone wants to get ahold of Arnold they make the effort, he doesn't have to worry one bit about missing out on anything. Plus how nice would it be not to care about being as connected as everyone feels they need to be these days? I would LOVE to go back to a time of answering machines and "i'll get back to you when I get back to you", now days things are INSTANT, back in the 90's it took a couple of days sometimes to return a phone call and no one cared.

I’ve NEVER texted, I didn’t have one for half a year and still got things done like Arnold on an iPad, as most folks email, have FaceTime, Duo or Zoom. I just got a new phone and yes, it’s nice for the few folks I have to call, I am going to get another landline and hook up an answering machine to it. You have to train folks on your communication style.

@@LindaC616 outside of work there's no need to be responsive to work. That's boundary number one. Unless your job was agreed upon from day one as being on call 24/7, stop letting that happen. And yes, I have dealt with that. It works. Employers will do what you let them get away with. Boundaries.

In the 90s I can remember going to Shatzie's (Mr & Mrs Schwarzengger"s restaurant) in Santa Monica for breakfast and seeing Maria feeding Patrick as a toddler. I loved going to Shatzie's and taking my friends there, cause the food/menu was great. There's where I discovered SPATEN beer, and it was served up super cold, almost frozen, God it was good. One night a week Arnold would have his Cigar night and often he would be there. Great Place, but I think it's gone now.

It must be incredibly challenging to start a career in that kind of shadow/footsteps where your father is a movie star and an American icon. I would imagine that you would have to be that much better than everyone else just to get recognition for your own work. My phone is an iPod with wifi and Text Now App. I never renewed my cell phone contract with FIDO when it ended in 2008. My imagination is on fire. Life is great and I am 63. Phones are electronic leashes.

@@ellecampbell3271 omg! That's exactly how I feel About cellphones, once you give them up you have so much time on your hands. Heck I get everything done before the day starts lol.

Oh really ? It’s going to be hard …my kids text all the time ….only get a call when I don’t answer text or they need immediate reply . How do you keep in touch with the adult kids ?

@@berniecelee5062 i don't keep in touch with anyone, when I did have a phone no one called or text me, and when they did ever reply it always ended with, I need money. So I got rid of my cell phone, bank cards, and credit cards. I just gave up on being there for people.

I was never tethered to my phone, but it has its place for convenience…..music, audiobooks, books, notes etc. As a child I was envious of those that had encyclopedias at their finger tips, it’s a great reference tool.
