NHL conspiracy about Patrik Laine and Fortnite. I love you Winnipeg Jets Fans. I love lots of things like Fortnite, NHL 19, EA sports, TheHockeyGuy, i love nhl conspiracies. Come and say Hi! ☞ freshcanadianjock
@@gerardchampagne Lol as a fin I have personally seen Jesse many times and he is very motivated and hard working kid, the biggest issue for him is the way Edmonton has treated him. Only because the management hasn't been able to build a solid team Jesse has had to play in a position he is not yet ready and after failing he is either sent down to AHL or given nonexistent icetime to trash his self confidence.
@@emrp2252 Your biased. There is a difference between working hard and working smart. I hope he succeeds. But this isn't only on the team. I do agree with alot of what your saying though. Frankly i think his english had been a barrier. He should've spent a whole year in the A .
I was friends with a kid in college that was a 4.0 aerospace engineering major who failed out his junior year because he became addicted to Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. No bullshit. True story. He stopped going to class and stopped studying. All he did was play that game. He failed all of his classes, lost his scholarship, and had to drop out. So, I totally believe Fortnite could be destroying Laine's career.
Why would I be emberresed? I got a good career. I’m a shift supervisor at wal mart. Plus I just got a new car. 2003 Kia. I’m doing okay for not going to no college
Maybe it’s some sort of coping mechanism? Or a stress reliever? I knew a friend in a high level of baseball during college who was really stressed with all the expectations/criticism in the real world. He confessed he enjoyed the anonymity and easiness of the virtual world. I don’t know if it’s the same for Laine but it’s pretty sad.
Even in the off-season these players should be training every single day. If you consider the hours of a FT job and on average ~3hrs a day of fortnite, there's something wrong here.
You need to do a conspiracy video on the Sedin brothers switching jerseys. Kevin Bieksa confirmed they used to switch jersey mid game. People are saying during Henrik Art Ross year(09-10) Daniel, b4 his injury, was playing games in Henrik’s sweater. Players would be worried about Daniel shot and really Daniel was wearing #33 not #22.
i came up with this same thing back in january when the leafs started to slide...i mean how do great, young players turn into absolute woof woof. answer: no sleep from gaming all night.
I remember that draft was here in Buffalo and an insider mentioning on one of our radio stations that one of the prospects was considered "a draft liability due to a fortnite addiction" but didn't say who. It look like it may be Laine
Hello, I am a South Korean.🇰🇷🇰🇷🇰🇷 I really like Winnipeg Zets team while watching NHL in South Korea. The Winnipegets are the most famous person in the world. I love Winnipeg Jets' Petrick Laine. 🇰🇷🏒🇨🇦
Nik Ehlers just comes back from injury and the coaches FINALLY let him practice his shot at full speed and now he just had a 2 goal night so I think he should be good now
Maybe, just maybe, Laine’s the epitome of a one-dimensional player. The fact the he went second overall camouflaged it and Jets fans will cry otherwise, but this season is proof. Oh, and making any comparison between Laine and Ovechkin is pure comedic gold. In his first three seasons, Ovechkin broke 100 points twice and accumulated over 300. Could Laine change his game and become a real threat? Absolutely. He’s still young. But the Laine we’re seeing right now is nowhere near the threat that Winnipeg made him out to be.
I just came across your stuff and subbed. This Laine season was so funny!! In his defense though; play videos games till all hours of the night and in free time > going to clubs and drinking(and doing drugs) till all hours of the night and in free time.
I'm a Leafs fan but I still love Laine and the Jets too. He will get over it. He's still young. It's almost guaranteed he'll heat up again before the end of the season
It's so stupid that this is happening. Nearly all these young guys are playing games every waking hour. If I had a shot at being in the NHL, I'd be practicing constantly and destroying all these guys. You've got the rest of your life to play games.
You underestimate how much free time all these guys have. When they arent playing or practicing, they are supposed to be resting, and so him playing a lot of fortnite is not bad
I will confirm there are big concerns about his lack of sleep. He’s up all hours playing with guys in his home country. Problem is it’s daytime there when he should be sleeping. He obviously has an addiction problem and it’s going to cost him his career. You have to understand he is expected to produce when they are paying him that kind of money. People will say hey he’ll still score 40 goals. But if he took care of himself as a pro athlete should how many should/could he be scoring?
Laine scored two goals when he was moved to both the first line with Wheeler and Scheifele as well as the first PowerPlay unit. Maybe that and the no fortnite for 4 days "cured" him
He is playing right now, it's March 1st, 2pm eastern time and he currently has played 5,825 matches. (edit: when I wrote this it was 5,824 but I just had a look at he just played one more game lol )
This was an ok video until you put clips of Juolevi to the video, it has been a known fact for a long time, that Juolevi is not the infamous game addict that everyone was talking about at some point. Someone guessed it could be Juolevi and the rumour started going on. So dont continue the misinformation and do better research
After I posted Juolevi's draft, I also posted Peter Marek's tweet that Juolevi is in fact, NOT THE PLAYER he was talking about. It may be a little unclear, my apologies.
At the time, Laine was playing with a miscast 4th liner as his center. Bryan Little would not make anyone better at all. He needs to be playing with a guy that can get him the puck. No apologies to Bryan Little fans....but that guy does not belong on a second line with the hope that he will somehow become Adam Oates or Wayne Gretzky. He is too inconsistent to be a 2nd liner, let alone the hope for a young sniper that needs someone to pass him the puck. He needs to play with an actual center.
This works in Winnipeg's favor. His play this season will keep him from pulling a Mathews or McDavid and hording the team's salary cap. And when he does mature .. this team will be dominate. Maybe even Tampa Bay dominate.
With 181 days from September till the end of February, 1711 games makes 9,45 games a day on average. With an average of 15 minutes per a game of Fortnite means Laine has played 2 hours and 20 minutes of Fortnite per day on average.
Pretty sure plenty of players have problems outside the ring that hinder their game, like forrtnite, coke, partying and such. Makes me wonder how many careeers how gone down hill because of things like that.
I just found this channel, love the content! Keep it up dude! We need good hockey channels like yours on RU-vid, too many boring 17 year old kids that can't commentate on here
