Hey! Thanks for all the info about Landsaurus' neck flap. I've been messing with this guy for days and never noticed it. I thought it was odd that the Dino neck had such a gap. You guys are awesome. 😊

That Space Ship is from the Japanese Beast Wars Neo, after their Beast Wars II show. I forgot the name of the ship but that Ship belongs to the Cybertrons, would be the Maximals, that is commanded by Big Convoy and his crew you mentioned in the beginning. That Ship would take them across the universe locating capsules that contained some blood energoen which has a name for that but forgot the name from the show. There are English dubbed episodes of Beast Wars Neo you can watch on RU-vid for free that has the entire series, and gets really good on Episode 30 that stars Magamatron. Hope this helps Partriot Prime. Keep up the great videos and especially the ToyHax ones.

The "blood Energon" is Angolmois (pronounced An-gol-mua) Energy, named after Angolmois, a word coined by French seer Nostradamus in one of his prophesies, which told of the resurrection of the king of Angolmois in July 1999. The Angolmois Energy appeared in BW II as a way to upgrade characters (to sell new toys), while Neo revealed the energy's origin: it's the life force of Unicron.

I'm not into the beast wars, insects etc but I ALWAYS enjoy a great review whether I do or don't because of the Way it's reviewed and YOU ALWAYS knock it out of the park

Personally I like the original Magmatron’s Magmasaur form way better than the legacy version of Magmatron because at least with the original version it has a better job of hiding Landsaur tail inside Seasaur. Magmatron is one of my all time personal favourites and I can’t wait to get my hands on the Legacy version he will go absolutely well with my Original Magmatron.

Just for my own retentiveness the dinos; Giganatosaurus-Landsaurus, Quetzolcolatlus-Skysaurus and Elasmosaurus-Watersaurus. I don't mind the heat for naming them, FRRB is my mantra, also I looked it up and it's just what they are.

I like this thing but it does bug me that they somehow made his dino mutant mode even less coherent than the original figure. Also it's 20 years later and his shield still mounts to the back of his arm for some reason. Also you missed a piece that folds down to fill out landsaurus' neck. It might be why your jaw isn't opening wider.

As much as I fiddled with that jaw to open, I never noticed the flap, it was very well hidden. I thought it was odd that the Dino neck had such a gap. 😊

That bit of unpainted tail on landsaurus appears to be because it's unpaintable plastic, judging by the slightly different hue of purple on that section. While it is a bummer aesthetically, Hasbro usually has to use that type of plastic for load-bearing parts.

I'm guessing this means you got your power back on! That's good to hear! I've hardly put mine down since I got him last week! So much fun! And so awesome looking! I refuse to put him in his combined dino mode though. That mode is just dumb. Also, the Landsaurus has a flap that tucks behind his jaw that you need to lower for his dino mode. Fills in the neck and lets the jaw open a little wider.

Beast Wars Neo/Beast Machines getting some love! Definitely not the greatest toylines in the world but Magmatron was one of the best figures to come from those lines and this new Legacy United version is a phenomenal figure.

I believe the slits on the other side of a joint is some kind of automated manufacturing thing. A way for the machinery to grip it? Not sure, spitballing here.

That combined mode is hilariously bad, but tbf the original did it too so props for keeping the toy accurate. Great detailed review, and looking forward to getting him in hand June. Not a fan of the soft plastic sword or the minimal head articulation, but other than that looks amazing, and imposing. Magnaboss would be really interesting to see though he had three modes as each component had an individual robot mode meaning a lot more engineering will have to go into it than Magnatron as he only has dino/combined modes.

Like you I know nothing of this character, but the robot mode is great. The combined Alt mode reminds me of that scene in Hancock where he shoves a prisoner's head in the butt of another. With 3 heads they should have tried a more traditional Chimera alt mode, would have been cooler. Did the original toy combined like that? Great review, you were very thorough, great work.
