If Maye is not there I want them to trade back if they are offered a good package from someone it needs to involve multiple first rd picks an some sweeteners I like Daniels but I’m not sure his style is going to fly in New England and his frame still concerns me he is not going to be able to take the shots he took in college and last very long. The guy lm more interested in after Maye is Michael Penix who had a very impressive pro day including running a sub 4.6 in his 40 which I don’t think was expected

Contrast in reactions by some Pats fans: At his pro-day Drake Maye airmails a couple out-routes and is off target a couple times over the middle and the reaction is "Ah, no big deal. It's only pro-day. We can just sit him for the year while he works on it". JJ Mccarthy airmails the same out-route at the combine and the reaction by Pats fans is: "OMG, what a bum. I really hope Washington takes daniels. I really ain't a fan..maybe he succeeds in a different place, I just dont see it here. And I honestly think weve seen his ceiling. And hes gonna be 24 in dec. I mean he didn't pop until his 5th season, well I guess technically his 4th since his 2nd season was cut short due to covid. And he was literally throwing to 2 1st round WRs at LSU. At Arizona state his first year he did have Brandon aiyuk, but aiyuk wasn't considered as good as nabers and his number 1 after aiyuk left was Ricky Pearsal. So I mean cmon. Then he gets to LSU and his 1st season is so so. His 2nd season he finally lights it up. Why did it take SO long for him to finally get this good? I think weve seen his ceiling and he's not going to have what he had at lsu if he comes here. That's for sure. He ain't even gonna have what he had at Arizona state. He didn't even break out rushing until his 3rd year at Arizona state. Idk I just dont see the fit here. I see a better fit for maye. Got my fingers crossed that Washington loves daniels. 🤞🏻🤞🏻
