I used to watch Steve Grogan throw to Russ Francis Irving Fryar. I remember Mike Haynes Sam Bam Cunningham I remember Jack Tatum hitting Darryl Stingley John Hannah Steve Nelson..l even remember when Jim Plunkett was QB
@@RONALDB62 Damn right he is. Seeing his dumb ass have to hand the trophy to the Patriots and the MVP trophy to T12 might've been even more satisfying than actually watching the Pats win the actual game.
I was at this superbowl..never thought this would be the most historical comeback ever.i remember seeing Ludacris on the phone all happy .we got this.the falcon fans thought Tommy boy would never comback.poet justice with Goodell n the boos
I so enjoyed seeing the Falcons swagger evaporate, and the Falcons owner smile turning upside down......AND seeing Goodel have to hand over that TROPHY!!! What a game
Not only was that the best comeback in SB history, Tom Brady's postgame salute to the fans was epic and it gives me goosebumps. Sometimes you just have to sit back and appreciate his intensity and competitive will to win.
Greatest Super Bowl ever! I had a heart attack at halftime. Was resuscitated in the 3rd quarter. And jumped for joy when Tommy came back and won it in OT.
Still gives me chills watching videos like this, the best Superbowl ever witnessed, us up here in New England have been spoiled rotten!! I still remember that feeling being down 28-3 then the magic ✨⭐✨ started happening!!!!! I knew they were going to win, still gives me chills what we all witnessed. Brady now has 7 rings that game was #5 . Anyways your comment is how I felt as well. Tom Brady the GOAT 🐐!!!!!!!! Peace to you....
Ty. The balls weren't even that low. The psi was like a .016 or something. The cold could explain that. They just wanted the Pats stopped. The nfl org hates us. So glad Goodell had to hand Brady the trophy.
@@matthewzablocki5310 only one team was messing with the balls.. and it wasnt the pats ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-wwxXsEltyas.html
I love seeing Edelman tackling a guy twice his size and pretty much getting picked up and tossed to the side on the touchdown run... Goes to show how much guts and determination he has to win!!! :)
This will never get old!!!! I thought the Malcolm Butler pick against Seattle was dramatic, then this historic comeback down 28-3 takes the cake!!!! Ya what Zo said sums it up!!! Best Superbowl ever witnessed! Us who live up here in New England were spoiled rotten!!! TB12 the GOAT 🐐!!!!!!!! You nailed it This will NEVER get old. Peace............
James White will be immortalized for his performance!! I started cheering for the Pats after I pulled a Tom Brady Bowman Chrome rookie card from a pack in 2000 and it has been a great ride ever since!!
@@thegoat164 Tom Brady grew up in the SF Bay Area, idolized Joe Montana, and patterned his game after Joe's while playing high school ball at San Mateo. This is not an either-or scenario. People can like both Bay Area QBs.
I will remember “A TOUCHDOWN! AND A TITLE!!!” for the rest of my life! It took me about a week to comedown from the high I felt after this game finished.
I still get chills every time I watch Super Bowl LI. It was the greatest super bowl of all time, and one of the best storylines going into it. The biggest FU to Goddell that anyone could have ever done!
Falcons had 18 carries for 104 yards (5.8 average), with Freeman having 11 carries for 75 yards. Every single play in the second half should have been a run. Had the falcons coaches had a clue, Hightower wouldn't have had the strip sack, Trey Flowers wouldn't have gotten a sack and the following holding penalty wouldn't have knocked them out of field goal range. The last 20 minutes of the super bowl by the falcons might have been the worst coaching job I've ever seen. I'm honestly mind blown that a team can have those averages running the football, Matt Ryan having a nearly perfect passer rating, and they still lose. I'm a Pats fan, so I'm glad it happened and that they executed where they needed to, but boy... Dan Quinn and Kyle Shanahan were the collective dumpster fire who made it all possible.
Fans that deserve a Superbowl Championship (from a Patriots fan)>>>>Eagles fans. Browns fans. Bills fans. Loyal fans despite constant heart break. Pat's fans, at least us old ones, know what it's like. I didn't include the Raiders fans only because they've at least won already. I didn't include the Jets fans because, screw them. hahahaha!
Was a fan from the hard and lean years to the past 20 years of glory, and I will gladly pay the price of struggle again now that TB12 has gone. But my heart will always follow and support TB12 no matter what team he might move to.
Many years later Matt Ryan is probably still having nightmares about this game! Seriously blowing a 28-3 lead in the biggest game of his life. Us that live up here in New England got to see the best Superbowl ever witnessed, we thought the Malcolm Butler pick was dramatic this game was a whole different level of dramatic! TB12 the GOAT thanks for the memories!!!!
You know, that little shit QB from California and Kent State, the one who moved back to LA to be near Tom so he could get some reps, the one who week after week is money, the player who is always right beside Tom on the bench, the one who believed right from the beginning the game was not lost, the dude who confidently predicted how "great the story would be," the one who made, arguably, the greatest clutch catch ever, the 5'10" slot receiver who never, ever takes off a down and takes on 250 lb. line backers game after game....you know, that Edelman kid, is absolutely indispensable and as valuable as Gronk....and should get locked into a lifetime deal. We loved Wes (even though he dropped a game winning pass against the Giants), but he wasn't half the player Julian is. Seriously, is there an NFL player who can match half the heart of Julian Edelman? He needs to rid himself of that facial hair, however. Haha.
Pound for pound Edelman is the best player in the NFL. Blocks, runs, special teams, passes, motivates, and has played pass defense when they needed him. The consumate team player.
Jack Weiss I could not have said it better myself. That boy is money baby. If more players conducted themselves like Edelman did and played the game half as hard as him instead of asking for more money the quality of the game would be a lot better
He's Dustin Pedroia in pads... scrappy, fierce, gives you all he can, and then nails a fan after the parade. My kinda guy. (The keys under the mat, Jules, if ya wanna come over).
Going into the end of the third quarter I didn't think the Patriots could win this game. But when overtime started I knew there was no way in hell they were going to lose. My brother called in the middle of the 3rd just so dejected and pretty much felt the game was over, he said he was going to bed cuz he had to open early and asked me to text him the final score so he knew how badly we had lost. As the comeback slowly happened I tried calling him multiple times but he turned his ringer off so it just keeped going to voicemail. When the Patriots won I texted him 3 words "We Fucking Won" he called me at 4am and asked me if is this was a joke? I told him you just missed the greatest comeback in Superbowl history. I don't think he'll ever live that down.
i trip on this...cant stop watching this every 3 or 4 days. He really deserve this one after all he went thru this year. After that seen when they asked him who his hero was then he said his dad...that was it man. stand up dude! Come see a brother in Az. Tom
If you ever doubt Brady, just try to meet his eyes. He's got ice in his veins, steel in his spine, and fire that will never be quenched. The embodiment of a champion.
Its like Deja Vu when i see this Documentary, it still brings back tears to my eyes ....lived that season like no other and that SB Game was just so Epic! Edelman, maaann...trying to keep everyone together( Its going to be a hell of a story) in a hard and emotional moment losing by 21 ! #PatsNation
does anyone else find it hilarious when Edelman made that pass in the super bowl, matt ryan stood up and just yelled "PASS" no, just me ? alright hahah
This is is a secret I will reveal. When Tom was at Michigan playing before 110,000 fans...His coach said ...this kid...Brady is the come back kid" He will die before before he loses." Tom got that DNA and it STUCK! this is the honest truth...ask Tom!
Where is the word "only" written on my comment? and learn how to spell KNOW. I said is a secret I wanted non Michigan fans to know about Tom before he became the GOAT. Many people who hung out in Ann Arbor area during that time 1998/1999 actually know that about Tom's will to win and great work ethic...not really a secret to us University of Michigan people or people that lived in ANN ARBOR, so I thought I would reveal to his non college days fans. So you are welcome. Hope you are a Brady Fan.
That's B.S you will make up anything to make some white boy look greater than he actually is, Tom's a great QB, but he did not say that, and your a shit-bag for saying it.
By the way, his DNA hasn't got anything to do with his greatness, I don't believe his parents were athletes, he just worked his ass off, put in the hours at the training facility.
I looked at the last sentence on this video, and, we've been saying this a lot lately and we will continue to say this . Change a word here and there. THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME . GO PATRIOTS
I remember almost every detail of my day so vividly when the Patriots made that miraculous comeback on February 5th, 2017. Everyone I knew (except my brother and I) rooted against the Patriots and nobody believed they'd win. Something kept telling me stick around after halftime and I'm glad I didn't change the channel. Idc if you love or hate the Patriots, this Super Bowl should inspire people not to lose faith or hope during difficult moments .
Hogan may not have been a star anywhere else. Brady is the best QB in the history of the game on so many levels, one of them is his ability to make everyone around him twice as good as they would be on another team.
Yeah, that's the whole point. The Patriots were $60 million under the cap last year. They could have hired 20 more Hogans. Buffalo spent all their money in the wrong places. Now they may lose Gillislee for the same reason.
I WAS THERE DURING THE PATS MANY LOSING YEARS IM 45 YEARS OLD NOW FROM WORCESTER MASS LIVING IN DAYTONA BEACH THE LAST 26 YEARS. BUT REMEMBER CRYING AS A LITTLE KID BECAUSE THE PATRIOTS WERE SO BAD AND I LOVED THEM BUT I NEVER TURNED ON THEM AND I HAVE BEEN SO LUCKY THE LAST SEVERAL YEARS. GO PATS
When I find myself in times of trouble, Mother Mary comes to me, And we sit down and watch the second half of Super Bowl 51 That will be on my DVR forever.
