When I hear this recording , which was less than a year before she died , I feel robbed . Her sound by that time was at it's best . More beautiful and melodic than her 1950s recordings . Especially with the strings and of course the fabulous Jordanaires . It saddens me to think of the songs that Patsy would have made that we'll never hear .
I was 11 years old when I heard for the first time a song from this Great Lady, the song was Crazy and I falled in love with the voice of Patsy Cline . I'm 71 today and I still love her voice and I think I'' ll love this voice until my death.
There's a soulfulness here - the way Patsy connects with the lyrics and calls and answers to The Jordanaires...it's got to be one of the most magical recordings ever caught on tape. I appreciate all the rare photos all well!
This song always takes me to a place of peace tranquility today at 6pm is the 56th anniversary of her infamous eternal plane ride. Virginia Patterson Hensley. Patsy Cline. I came along one year to the day, my mothers maiden name was also Hensley my mom and grandmother loved her music voice. I've been a fan since 3/5/64
