My dear sister loved Patsy cline, i wasn’t so keen until later years, when I realised what a wonderful country singer she was. I can listen to her songs over and over, and still enjoy her music. So sad she passed so young. 💕💕
Wonderful! This song's emotional effect owes much to its unusually beautiful chord progression. Well done the composers - Pee Wee King, Chilton Price and especially Henry Ellis 'Redd' Stewart.
Have you ever been lonely? Have you ever been blue? Have you ever loved someone, Just as I love you? Can't you see that I'm sorry, For each mistake I've made? Can't you see I've changed dear? Can't you see that I've paid? Oh, be a little forgiving. Take me back in your heart. How can I go on living, Now that we're apart? If you knew what I'd been through, You'd know why I ask you: Have you ever been lonely? Have you ever been blue? Be a little forgiving. Take me back in your heart. How can I go on living, Now that we're apart? If you knew what I'd been through, You'd know why I ask you: Have you ever been lonely? Have you ever been blue?
❤her music since a teenager, when I heard it in a sewing factory in Mississippi. Country music was on a loop all day. She did what she came here to do: Gave us eternal, beautiful songs with which to express our deepest, pure, raw feelings that our words defy. It’s not the length of life that matters, it’s the life we live, a life leaving a precious gift behind, which makes us eternal. That’s the meaning of eternal life, living forever in our legacy. There are countless examples. I will name Dr. King for his Civil Right legacy. Another Abraham Lincoln. Barack Obama makes the list….they will live on, as she has. I suggest the creator of this video remove he photo of the plane crash. She is not dead.
Friday 8 September '23.-----I just posted this video on my timeline.-----Last March 5th marked 60 years after Patsy Cline's death, if she had lived longer and the possibility of still alive in 2023, the day that I make this comment would've been her 91st Birthday, imagine that?
