Thanks so much for the how to videos. I watched one years ago that inspired me to make a holster of my own, and now I have a small leather business. Thanks again, love watching a master.
Good morning, greetings from Vermont. I just wanted to say thank you for the videos. I got hurt at work in September and it looks like im not going to be able to do the same work I used to. I make knives so I have made leather sheaths (nowhere near the quality of your work) and I am looking for other options for income so I thought holsters. The work you do is just amazing and I really appreciate the fact that you spend the time to do the hand work on the finer details. Again, exellent videos and terrific craftsmanship.
You did all this work and we cannot see the lines you’re drawing I appreciate your videos please use a thick felt pen and write down measurements on the paper it would be so helpful to us rookies
Great videos! Thanks so much! What about tooling the leather? How do you keep from damaging your tooling while pressing the leather, especially when making a pancake style holster?
Great video! I do have a question. When using your scrap leather to find your stitching line, I noticed that you just used veg tan. But in other videos you line your leather with suede. Should I use a scrap that has suede glued to it for a proper measurement? Thanks for the videos. They are very informative as well as entertaining.
