I have never heard this before. I had been lead to believe Kirby simply had a pocket dimension in his stomach that he can store objects or certain Ability granting properties in like Ability Orbs gained from eating specific people. I don’t think Kirby eating someone teleports them to somewhere else

@@technetium_et_al But we also see Kirby’s pocket dimension in Kirby Squeak Squad and you can interact with it and store stuff in it. I guess for some non-important things like WaddleDees get transported elsewhere but the stomach dimension does exist at the very least

@@itsturniptime3699 If I understand it correctly, the creature that granted the ability is displaced, but the ability its self is retained. Essentially objects and nourishing items (Such as drinks and food, or what we would consider food at least) can be held in Kirby's pocket dimension, but creatures cannot so he instead absorbs their powers and they get sent back out into the world

@@themewer This is blatantly false as there is no Canon story where Sonic and Kirby fight, and even if there was. Only Comic sonic can match Kirby's power (We know that both of them are immune to existential erasure)

@@Luco_TA Right and he also kills inhabitants of certain areas, some of which in the show Kirby Right Back At Ya are revealed to not be hostile, and be friendly. And I know that show isn't canon to the games, but it shows insight into how Kirby just kills random wildlife. It's nothing new, since Mario does it too. All those monsters Mario stomps on? Most of them aren't even monsters. Ever stop to wonder why they always seem so happy walking around? Or why in the 2D games, most of them don't even try to attack you unless you touch them? And in the Mario movie we see how certain species of creatures don't even harm Mario. Obviously the Cheep Cheeps hate Mario's guts and want him dead, but the bloopers? That thing with long legs? Why didn't they attack him? And also not only that, but multiple creatures can be seen participating in events like Mario Kart, Mario Party, and more. Which goes to show that Kirby and Mario don't HAVE to kill every moving thing they come across, they do. But it does sort of make since. Think about it. Why else would there be so many species of creatures that just happen to want to kill the main character? It's like if you walked outside, and every creature from insects and lizards, to birds and rodents just ran up to you and started attacking you, or hurt you if you touched them.

As disscussed in another comment section here, Kirby rarely kills anything. Being swallowed by Kirby doesn't kill you. Prolly also why Kirby uses more physical means to get the job done when he actually kills other beings.

He can’t absorb anything, it’s impossible for him to absorb bosses or large enemies

@@pigeonmanepic But we do know that he can absorb energy blasts. And, the reason he can't absorb bosses is for game mechanic purposes, and probably because they can resist the inhalation. He also can absorb large enemies (All the mini-bosses are large enemies and when defeated he can swallow them), and we also know that with out Hyper Nova, he can inhale (but not swallow) up to a semitruck, and when he inhales said Semitruck he can control it
