Just heard Gladys' version, and I'm not one for comparing... especially at this point in my life, but Patti is Patti! Such life she brings to this song!
I don't think she was "underrated" AT ALL...!!! She has accomplished so much vocally and won so many awards for her gift of voice. She is a VOCAL PHENOM the likes of which we will NEVER see again in this lifetime. And being a singer myself who has studied Patti and how she sings. I strongly feel i can speak on this. Your entitled to your opinion don't get me wrong but she is certainly NOT underrated by any means...!!!
