Paul I was on the roof at risly with you spent 30yrs in addiction been out of prison 9yrs now wish you all the best mate in your new life good luck mate
Paul Harding such a likeable guy, someone who obv is seriously hard but you would never hear him brag about it proper bloke, such a promising boxing career sadly destroyed by drugs, just hope he finds happiness in whatever he does moving forward.
Risley 87. On my 1 and only stretch. I was a coiled spring. When it came i dealt with it and stood up but that place was evil. Like the lad in brown hoody said.. youre scared of what youre capable of to survive. That was me. I was ready to write my life off rather than back down if it came on top again. .. and that was half the lads in there with that mentality. PH was on the wing. He had a force field around him. He just quietly demanded respect. He gave me the best advice of my life. "This isnt you lad" When i got out i went for anger management classes. You dont do shit like that cos youre a man.. but i did. I got to grips with whatever shit was inside my head and not been arrested for fuck all since. This video has made my day. Its shit to see he ended up doing so much time. But im chuffed hes got his life together. Respect. Davy Wales
Great pod John, Paul is an outstanding Man to steer our youngsters on keeping away from the shit trappings of drugs Good luck to the future Paul enjoy your pigeons LEGEND YNWA
I've known Paul since 90s sadly all in jail but he's always been a gentleman to me gave advice an looked out for me an if honest you would be hard pushed to find a nicer staunchly man on earth always have my respect Leon seasman

Was in Liverpool crown in 2003 when I got me 7 Paul was in the same cell as me Barry Williams aswell he never bragged bout his boxing 🥊 I found him sound
I was in risley in 1987 from March to October I was 14 years old I was the youngest person in there it was terrible… Paul’s right I remember lifting the lid on the piss pot an the smell…the windows smelt exactly the same all brown mesh stink of urine and to make it worse you was only allowed 1 shower a week .. risley was the stuff of nightmares them days… they used to come round at ten o clock at night and give you one cup of tea for yer supper… in a big blue plastic mug… thinkin back now even the tea smelt like piss…
@@FightingDemonsPodcast 1 hour exercise a day piss stained windows piss Potts a 3 foot wide cell with just a metal frame bunk bed and a chest of drawers …no phones no internet then no teles in yer room it was hard beein 14 tryin to cope with that…1 shower a week the screws loved it
Yeah mate it was barbaric, the "CAGE" in reception, full of angry men, a lot of which had drug addictions, most of which had bad mental health. A truly terrible experience there, and then you was off to the wings, outnumbered by the cockroaches and mice. It was a nightmare wasn't it mate, even more so for a 14 year old
I new it was gonna be a strange day when we came out the back of the crown court they put us on a big coach just a normal coach like u was goin to butlins kind of coach an they put us all in handcuffs and drove us round town an everyone was lookin out the windows with the handcuffs on an all the people were laffing at us an lookin as shocked as we was… you’d never see that now 🤣🤣
I new a guy Scotland tough lad labouring for his dad since he was 12 fkd off school but he fought thai boxing.. punches elbows kicks kness to the head by 16 he was built like a tank but the older lot used to use him .. he ended up in a fight with 3 men one pulled a knife 🔪 and ended up j took it off him after getting stabbed in the leg then stabbed the guy back killed him got out late 20s nearly 30 had been in prison from 16 .. he was built like a tank but his head was gone he was still stuck same routine up early everthing had to be folded in his room perfect i thought it was ocd but looking back that been his life .. then the weight started dropping off him and again found out he had ended up on H in prison when he came out guys people will no in Glasgow they had him selling it but it wrecked him few year's later killed a guy over 20 quid then in prison got found dead in his cell .. all different stories overdose suicide only his family really no the truth .. but he was always sound with me my dad tried to get him a job working for him take him out the city but his parole officer wouldn't let him .. then drugs took his sole but he was a sound guy but being brought up in prison from a kid to a man then comming out he definitely had ptsd .. but you would honestly think he was on steroids guy was a tank but nice to all us younger crowd but had a switch as in if he thought someone was taking the piss he wouldn't think twice about killing them .. looking back i don't think he felt comfortable out in the real world and because he was built like mike tyson type build from 16 the older lot .. go do this he ows us this go do him and yeah probably just wanted to be liked but was getting used cost him his life
@@Carson-pv4hr I was a professional this boxer myself so stop taking the piss over my man bag not purse 😂😂😂 and yes so sad I know loads of stories like this that’s why we did this podcast to share stories so that kids don’t go down that road I own my own gyms now one is halewood abc were I give all my time helping get kids off the streets an in to boxing an not go down the road I went! Thanks for your comment Carson 🥊🥊 pingping 🤣
@FightingDemonsPodcast 😉👌 great interview guys and yeah I've heard about paul and was actually shocked how calm he was.. good to see him out looking healthy but yeah heard a few stories but just got told name and things he didn't speak about and that's in the past .. but yeah got told no most dangerous man in the system and then stories him against top yardi gangs ect . He was the most dangerous man in the system even the screws were terrified what your average hardman would get a kicking for .. screws just ask him nicely ok paul 🙄 can you go back to your pad now .. ok 👍 let them walk him back to his cell then ship him off to another prison were not rolling about with him .. and your right one daft mistake wrong crowd if not he could have been world champion level boxer.. good to see him looking healthy and out free and living life .. but yeah he was feared very respected but also capable of .. but that's in the past good interview guys 👌👍
When we were on visits Paul would be getting a parcel and the security new and would not say anything just let him get it lol when parcels came over the wall Paul would just say that's mine no one would say anything lol but I liked him he was just paul h lol I was around him for a few years he just looks the same lol good pod cast that Jon m8❤🥊🥊🥊👍👍👍💪💪💪💪💪
