If his voice is gone it's because he gave it to us. The man can sing what he wants, where he wants, whenever he wants. He's earned it.

Thats why he is having a hard time trying to tell everyone he isnt Paul. William is 80...going to be 81 tomorrow. He desperately wants to tell the world that it was he, from Sgt Pepper on, that it was William Campbell that wrote and sang all of these songs....but he is afraid to break his confidentiality clause. More and more disclosure is coming out as time goes on...he wants you to figure it out on your own. One day the world will know....but I believe Bill will need to die before that happens.

Really too bad that some folks are focusing on his voice instead of on the AMAZING fact that this man has been performing and enhancing our lives with his talent for almost 60 years! Also, it's not all about the voice - a lot of it is about the performance, the love of the craft, the chance to play music in front of an audience. Oh how I would love to see him in concert! It would be a dream come true. But then, Paul was always my favorite and he's still a looker

Paul McCartney is the most complete example of Greatness in his field. Player, Singer, Writer, Arranger, Producer, Lyricist. He has the Perfect sense of Melody, and Harmony. Unhindered vocal range, unrestricted tone ability and no self-imposed doubt in his vocal capabilities. He has every box ticked. Very few can compare.

Paul disobeyed his father on vinyl record. Paul was under his father's roof. At that time your parents ruled the home, and were unquestionably respected. thanks Dennis, if i had known you before i would have gotten you a pass, the acoustics at GCT are fantastic the sound reverbs from the stone ceiling, walls and floors , it was so small Pauls wife was standing next to me along with meryl streep, and of course me, to see an icon who was a star when i was a little kid was amazing, Paul is human when you are up close and the band everything was really like a small private party, i could feel the bass by paul and guitars through my body , dont believe those who say his voice is shot, he sounded live just like he did 50 years ago with lennon, harrison, starr, i was as close as ten feet from the band and paul walked over and greeted me on his way to hug his wife, experience cannot be repeated, remember with his billions he is a regular Nice person just like you , a tiny venue like this had to be kept secret and could never be repeated, all were invited personally and pledged to keep it secret, it reminded me of the Beatles on the roof in London playing several songs unannounced

At the last minute, one of her friends couldn't go. She took me! Seats right behind the 3rd base dugout. Insane night to say the least! I’ve never done this before and when he got started singing he couldn’t remember the lyrics to the song. He looked so lost I felt so bad for him. He started to remember and finished the song. I don't have a favorite. As soon as I pick one, I think of another. 55 years of memories tied to each one. He does not have a greatest song ever. His music is mercurial. Even the few that might only be just awesome. His life, his honesty, his energy, his humor, his kindness, his ups and downs he's bravely shared with us. And he's still got it. Anyone that says otherwise never truly was a fan to begin with.

Paul McCartney...If I could pick just one person to meet. My 16year old son an aspiring musician, and he's got something special, but he showed me his new Abby road shirt his mom bought him. Why did your mother buy you a Beatles shirt I asked... My son: because she knows I like the Beatles. .... I knew too I just loved hearing him say it .. I surely would love to bring him to see Sir Paul live in New Orleans this may..... But I fear it will require a small miracle..

Always enjoy the host of criticisms posted by people who probably by enlarge a) can't sing, b) can't play an instrument & c) couldn't write anywhere near a decent song! Keep rocking Paul, me & millions of others love & appreciate what you still do year in year out + the 56 year amazing back catalogue of work!

The voice doesn't matter much to me at this point, is his love for music and the huge legacy of joy, freedom and love he always share with his fans what count. The band members are sad for some reason, that we don't know. Maybe next tour is his last tour, or maybe has been advice by doctors to take it easy, who knows, "God Only Knows". He said many times this is what he really love without it it would be very sad life for him I'm pretty sure. I am nobody and I wish you all the best Paul. Thanks for sharing so much love with us.

Why are people sad that his voice is gone. It’s completely normal to have changes in your voice as your age rises. Are people afraid of life?
