I'll never forget when I saw Paul getting down on one knee, looking at a large jumbo-tron screen, showing a huge photo of John, Paul put his hands together looking up and said "I miss you buddy, I love you" Not a dry eye at that 1993 Meadowlands concert, NJ, Paul's new world tour concert. Linda was there too. we all know sadly, Linda passed away 1998.
Never forget that day, after walking into the the venue a nice lady came by saying she worked for Paul and gave my group free tickets front and center. Greatest day of my life
This meant a lot to the family, but you can see that it really meant something to the Grandma. Paul could see this and handled it like the great gentleman and 60 years of Beatlemania heartthrob fame he has lived. Hats off Paul.
Paul has always been "audience friendly"...but, of the 7 times I've seen him...I've never seen anything like this! Long live Paul and all the lives he's touched with the Beatles music.
Paul has great banter with the audience, great sense of humor. Saw him in San Diego a few years ago. Some woman had a sign up: "Marry Me, Paul". Paul saw the sign and said: "Well, let's have a look at you."
I think that BEATLES opened the doors and led a true revolution of customs that started in the 60's, after years and years of a lot of social, family, and sexual repression. It was as if they opened the window of a closed and moldy room, and illuminated it with the sun of their music and their spontaneity. Thank you so much guys !!!
Oh my stars! They are the luckiest people on that stage! This would be my dream come true if I could meet and talk with Paul McCartney...I did see him at his concert once back in 2001 and what a blast it was for me...A day I will never forget and will treasure for a lifetime!
Just watched Carpool Kareoke with Sir Paul McCartney and James Corden, for no reason whatsoever I was in floods of tears. I hope Paul and Ringo live forever, I know the Beatles music will.
