That's exactly what caused the north South divide here in England because even to this day you go to the middle of England to work but you go north or south to go home. Mancs Geordies and scousers have always been the best people I've ever known.
He can sometimes put on his TCB or more officious hat, & though ever diplomatic can come off a tad uppity; but hey, he's a Sir, he's a big deal...but he has that other more vulnerable, open & vulnerable side. You don't see it that often imho But it's nice, it's sweet.

To be fair to Paul, Revolver is the album I hear some tuning slips on. But if everything's in too in tune it sounds like autotune, and we'd be listening to Taylor Swift sings the Beatles - my personal hell. Bless you Paul!
I play in bar bands and play a lot of stuff on my own. Some days I hear recordings of my singing and think, "That's pretty good!" . The next day I can listen and hear every flaw...no drugs involved. It's just that way it works.
I think Paul has hit on something very significant here. That's, how the brain works. One moment life is sweet & in a "flash" it's not. E.g. we have so many young people suffering from anxiety 2day. I should know. I have a 27 yr old living @ home with this modern day "dilemma". A smart kid with a degree in Engineering. Question; At that point did Paul have a "brief" mental "episode" when he "felt" that their music was out of key???? Thanks Paul, once again for yr foresight & honesty!

I really like & respect this man, I’ve never heard anyone that knows him say a bad thing about him. He is very down to earth & a good man. And he has aged very well & has changed very little, still nice looking. Paul & Ringo were & still are my favorite Beatles. 👏👏❤️❤️😊👍🏼

Of course not. But I know what Paul means because it happened to me once. I went to a blues jam, I had been to several times before, and everything sounded off. It was weird. I usually listened to Rock, so I thought it may have had to do with that change. I did get acclimated after a couple of songs, thankfully.
I think the drugs were getting to him. "The whole album is out of tune??" 😅 First of all, the producer , engineer or THE BAND would catch that , during the recording, if the album was out of tune. There is literally no chance of that happening, at least not now..... the computer would catch something like that, now 😊

As people get elderly, our ears change our perception of pitch. If someone has perfect pitch, everything that seemed normal in youth begins to sound slightly off as that person ages. If Paul had fully perfect pitch, he probably would know it, and would probably expect that pitch shift with age, but if he just had tendencies towards perfect pitch he might not know what was happening.
He has been impersonating the real paul for decades and became a billionaire. And here he is putting down pauls last album, and people think billy is putting himself down and being humble. I am amazed that this charade is still going on.
So much great pop/rock music coming from Paul; and so much great movie music from John Williams. The 20th Century would not have been the same without these guys.

Mark Twain said most of what people worry about never happens. Tom Petty sang the same. Some of us have zero desire to be liked by masses. I love being unrecognized as an author. Those I like always respond in kind. Its all the 'liked' I want.
We~every last one of us~needs reassurance sometimes, every once in a while; ~ a hand on top of yours; a gentle squeeze of the hand, a hand on your shoulder, arm, back...or an actual hug; a big smile; a kiss... on top of the head; on the forehead; maybe the cheek, or even lips.... or wherever/ whatever it is one may need. And it is so very important, & it is so very necessary. And it does wonders, & it helps tremendously
I think this part of his personality is a double edged sword, it made him a total perfectionist and over achiever. He worked extremely hard to make everything be exactly the way he thought it should and although it payed off as he was a brilliant writer with an admirable discography and work ethic, I think in a band it must’ve been suffocating for the other members. You especially see it in his relationship with George towards the end of the Beatles’ run.
We all need to be reassured from time to time that we are liked and that we’re on the right path in life and that everything will work out as planned. Paul with all his fame fortune is no different. He’s human and I think that’s what makes him so likable.

Music history will put Paul up much higher than all the others in that band. And that band will always be the greatest band that has ever existed. John was really great, but Paul was the best.
my mother was a worrier (runs in family - anxiety disorder) and when she worried she was demanding and hard to please because all she could think about was what she was worried about. It comes across as bossy, pushy, not listening.

True. John & George were taking the p*** out of him because he hadn’t tried LSD yet. John later said they were cruel, making him feel like an outsider. He doesn’t harmonise on that either. One of the very few tracks that he is not on.
It is documented after researching and releasing the newly remastered Revolver (last year) that Paul did play bass on the basic track. He just didn’t sing on it at all because he walked out after the basic track was finished.
As a 10 year old I dreamt that the Beatles came to my house and wanted to hang out. Now as a 65 year old I consider that one of the best dreams ever next to the Rapture dream I had at 12😂
On the last antictdotoe. A lot of recording, mixing, digital equipment gives the recodings all kinds of weird, unnatural sounds. Often times you feel like it's messed with the pitch especially if your in the trenches all the time. "What the fuck is that?" Revolver is definitely a high centric tinney type sounding thing.
