I love Paul, but I hate how they've treated his character over the years. He's gone from being Kazuya's rival to yelling stupid things and doing weird shit with the bear.
Abraham Azam Dude, his ending in that game was so awesome. And really, Tekken 5 was a great opportunity to do something really cool with his character. They could've talked about how he met his old rival, Kazuya, in the previous tournament and now he's training hard to defeat him. The story writes itself. Instead, they went with "Bring it on ya aliens!"
Zacchaeus Jackson Oh man, I know it. That's almost even more disappointing, cause he's the Bruce Lee character. I love Tekken's story, but they miss so many opportunities sometimes.
Emre P That's why in my opinion its the best one, better combat mechanics, map style and drawing style, it's true that it lacks some characters, but that doesn't change what I've said.

Painful how the Japanese creators have made Paul seem like a big buffon now instead of a strong serious fighter. Maybe that's how they feel about America now lol...
My favorite tekken character,his tekken 2 stance was best his tekken 3 face is the only one that didnt look wierd, his tekken 4 outfit was my favorite in terms of being unique. And his character died after tekken 3 his last great feat was beating ogre and now he's tekkens punchline 😡
Tekken 2 looks uglier than Tekken 1 and all thanks to the lack of smoothing on character models bodies. I don't understand what was the point in using a dynamic lighting if it only made everyone look blocky.

Seriously, i've been playing tekken for ages. Now, in tekken 7, there is this Paul thing which can annihilate half your hp with the deathfist. I stopped playing tekken.
I've played all tekkens except the PS3 ones, I skipped that generation because that's when consoles fucked up for me. However, I plated T6 on PSP, but I missed Tag Tournament HD and 2, and man, I'm wondering, why does TT2 look so good when compared to tekken 7? Old hardware running games looking almost better, and yet PS4 didn't manage to run at 1080p, despite the PS2-like graphics. Did TT2 run at 60fps?
I think every this kind of videos should turn off any upscaling / filtering options. so we can see real evolution like how graphics improved, resolution changes.
I play Paul since tekken 2. In tekken 2,3 (maybe 4 also) he was so OP. In tekken 5 and 6 he was trash and now in tekken 7 he's back in the game and i think he is the most overpowered character (which is great for me lol)
it hurts me to see a fake version of teken 1 give as reference.. original NAMCO hardware was no more than 480p but in here it looks clearly you used an emulator for PSX/PSONE with hardware acelaration and vectorial upscaling of the models.. wich ultimatly renders this video dake and "gay" re-do it with PSX graphics for teken 1, 2 and 3. (512x384 no bilinear filtering whatssoever)
No combos, no wall carry, not using opportunity of doing combos on stun opponents, this was not even a basic game play of paul. This video doesn't even show evolution of paul because this guy doesn't even know basic gameplay of paul. After this launcher, uf2, there are a lot of moves paul can do to keep opponent in air. This is sad. This video isn't bad, game play of this paul is what's bad. Bro, please learn basics and re upload "evolution of paul" video. Like how paul's gameplay changed with introduction of wall carry combos, uf2 short launcher and follow up combos.
I luv Paul Phoenix so very to much but i think in ma opinion Paul gonna be in Tekken's movie Hans Dolph Lundgren because if tekken in the era of rocky iv was made the tekken movie dolph was the perfect actor to be paul man i luv paul because paul is tall n very strong n is not hading could well im in portugal n i wath even to be Paul Phoenix man but Paul Phoenix its like even Johnny Bravo weel PAUL PHOENIX is a mixture beetween Hans DOLPH LUNDGREN N JOHNNY BRAVO TO ME MAN
