It feels like Mourinho is finished. It all started with his last season at Real Madrid where he got very toxic and the players wanted to get ridd of him. He got to Chelsea he won the Premier league and then made that disastrous season where they finished 10th, and started to blame everyone but himself, now his doing the same thing in United. His tactics worked 10 years ago but has no place in the modern football anymore.

Pogba is inconsistent. But the way Mourinho has man-managed him is the wrong way to get him to improve. He shouldn't have said anything about him after the World Cup except to praise him. I agree that Pogba's the only one being proactive doing something about the bad situation. Mourinho keeps blaming the players for a bad performance and result. However, Pogba is saying Mourinho's tactics should be given more attention. I agree with Pogba. Mourinho's tactics are very bad and the players have to play with them. Then they get blamed by the manager when they lose or draw a match. Every player is playing to their potential. If Mourinho doesn't like their performance, he should pick a better XI the next match. Pogba wants to leave and will probably do so soon, so he has little to lose by speaking out. Many in the dressing room probably agree with him. He's their voice for them. He can act as the sacrificial lamb because he'll probably leave the club soon. The others have to stay so they can't say anything. I think fans should get off Pogba's back. I don't think he likes causing controversy. But he's brave and is willing to stick his neck out and tell people that Mourinho's tactics are the problem at the club and that's what's making the players have a bad result. They're not in charge of the tactics Mourinho uses but they still get blamed by him after a match when they don't get the result they want. So I am glad Pogba is shifting his focus to Mourinho and his tactics. Mourinho did the same at Chelsea. He started blaming the players for bad results, and turned the dressing room against him. He caused Diego Costa to leave the club. Now Costa's shooting wonderfully back at his old club and he performed well in the World Cup for Spain. Nothing wrong with Costa. It was MOURINHO and his tactics that made Costa play bad. And Mourinho even let the fans scapegoat Costa. Mourinho did nothing to protect his players, and instead of wearing the responsibility for the bad results, shifted it onto his players. Mourinho is not an honorable coach. Blaming one's players is a sign of a bad coach. A coach must always assume responsibility for failings at the club. Mourinho only wants to take responsibility when the club wins things. He doesn't when they lose things. Always it's the players that are at fault - poor attitude, individual mistakes they made, not concentrating well, being distracted by external things, etc.

Listen here, Pogba has always had a big personality, colorful hair and charisma, but at Juve he was one of the best young talents in Europe, he won the World Cup and was amazing there, so why only Mou got an issue with his persona and can’t get performance out of him?

Does he not get it? Has he lost his magic? They hated him at Real Madrid, they hated him in Chelsea, and now Manchester? What I see is that footballers want to play football but he doesnt understand that. Eden Hazard said it and now so does Pogba.

The problem is bigger than Pogba and Mourinho. United simply haven't invested enough quality players the last 2 years, that's why we had to put up with players like Jones, Smalling, Valencia and Young at the back. Lack of depth is more apparent in cup competition like this.

Managers can't do anything anymore the players control everything and players get away with everything they do and they never get criticised for what they do it's always the managers taking the blame for what their own players are doing on the pitch

No player is bigger than the club. Ferguson didn't get rid of Pogba for nothing. Over the years Manchester United have got rid of bigger names than Pogba, and a lot better players than Pogba. Pogba is very overrated, mostly by his agent and himself, but he is a long way off being a Roy Keane, Cantona, Scholes, Beckham, Butt, Giggs, Ronaldo, Hazard, Lampard, Gerrard, I could go on all night naming players whose boots, Pogba is a long way off filling. If Pogba could play football as good as he throws his toys out of his pram, he would be world class.

Good managers help and motivate players to improve. Pep has improved almost all of his players like Sterling, Sane, Stones, Mendy, Walker and Klopp has improved Salah, Mane, Firminho and even seasoned player Milner. The players have not improved at all at Utd, even the forwards have stopped scoring. Without De Gea, Utd would have lost more games. Mourinho has no patience, he wants to win asap, he is just a checkbook manager.

He should do that in dressing room. 2) Why are form of Martial, Rashford, Fred, Pogba, Sanchez, Lingard dropping more often? 3) What is happening with Sanchez, Lindelof, Baily, all his buying? 4) Why is he not changing formation that are not working or the style of play? 5) Why and what was the need to start pogba fued? Players stick together, if the other squad members see that the Manager is prepared to argue with Pogba in full view of the cameras they are not going to play and performances will suffer. Mourinho needs to go as eventually he will just start confrontations with every player in the squad. Removing Pogba will not solve this issue as it's likely that Pogba is not the only player Mourinho has a problem with. Mourinho needs to leave for the sake of the long term future of the club.

Man United basically will have to choose between Pogba and Mourinho. And they will be stupid if they choose Jose over Pogba. It's Mourinho's fault how crazy things are at the club. I think Pogba's patience has ran out and rightfully so. He doesn't want to play for a manager who throws his players under the bus (which he parks in most big games) publicly every chance he gets just so he can wash his hands off of failures as coach. Now the question is who has the money to buy Pogba and for how much? Where is he going to play at Barca? Can they swap him for Rakitic plus money? I don't know. As life long Barca fan, I'm not sure Barca should spend their money on Pogba because I rather the club spend all their money on bringing Mbappe in the near future. We need him to lead the attack more than we need Pogba in midfield. We have Coutinho and Arthur there plus a few talented La Masia players with potential. Then there is Frankie De Jong from Ajax as potential target too. He is more lined up for Busquets' successor. The two Brazilians in midfield plus Messi, Dembele and Mbappe in attack is the way to go. But then how do you miss out on a chance to sign a star player (World Cup winner too) like Pogba with his best years still ahead of him. I'm torn.....

Jose may be defence-minded, but Pogba has no right to criticize his manager's style openly. Pogba cannot make a mistake in a match that costs the team a win and then blame it on the manager's style. He's being irresponsible right now and overestimating his own importance. Jose has won trophies with this style and broken goals and points records too. Attacking is no guarantee of victories. His mistake right now is that he has bought and inherited a handful of talented (and a ton of average) players who do not believe in his style. To move forward, every player who doesn't agree with his methods needs to leave right now and the club need to support him in the market and clean the slate by buying new players. Otherwise, fire Mourinho and bring in a new manager so we can all move forward. The one thing that is clear to me though is that the club needs players who will die for the manager, whoever he is. If players are disgruntled cos Jose wants them to put in work defensively, I don't think they'll be willing to do the needful for the new manager. We can all make noise about Mourinho being defensive, but Liverpool and Man City are even more defensive. They just do it higher up the field and with more urgency so that they can win the ball and initiate a new attack quickly. I do not see Pogba or Martial chasing the ball the way Firmino or Mane chase down players when they lose the ball. Ball winning is the most important part of the game cos you cannot do anything without the ball. Not even Fred has lived up to his hype as a ball winner. Only Fellaini seems to be doing that with some consistency, whereas at Liverpool, Klopp has made it everybody's job and the players are happy to do it. Our players are being lazy and the fans and pundits are making it easy for them to get away with it. Fire Mourinho if you like, but a lot of these players have to leave as well if the new manager is to succeed.

Don't know what they're talking about Pogba with the exception of one or two performances this season has been our best player..and this has been the case since he arrived..he does tend to overly showboat or lack defensive focus at times but the fucker is the only player we have who can move the ball forward and attack consistently..Mourinho if the situation doesn't improve should be sacked and we should opt for another manager

These two are not not the only problem at the club at the moment. A lot of the other players with the exception of De Gea and Shaw are not performing good enough either. Sanchez has been terrible ever since he joined United. Mourinho's poor player management skills isn't helping either. Clearly this is a repeat of his last season with Chelsea.

1) A manager isn't a trained psychologist that needs to motivate somebody that earns £290k a week to work his ass off against brighton, wolves and has the nerve to leave mid game of derby county (while loosing). 2) You can't say that a team has to attack when they suffered 9 goals, while their competitors suffered 2 or 3... 3) The only time Pogba showed consistency game after game he had the whole Juventus defence squad behind him, which is a lot different from the MUFC current defence (and offence).
