Bill Cohen, of the Columbus Folk Music Society asked me to join an open mic before a concert by The Pints, a regional Celtic and Bluegrass Group.
There was a jam session first, with Columbus members. Then there were two other "open mic" acts, also local Columbus folks, very talented. I made certain to call them out from the stage.
I took only a banjo because I knew I was only going to do three songs, and based on previous open mics, I know that people are more likely to remember the only guy with a banjo than one more guitar player.
I did leave out one verse of the last song, but other than that, I survived. :-)
The sound is a little rough, but you get the general idea.
