@everythingisaprocess It is true, although i draw inspiration from so many different artists, Mariah has been one of the tops, and working with her was a dream come true, a lot of my technique, doing harmony, i learned during my experience with her and everyone else that was part of it.
That's because this clip is cut. If you watched the original video, you would have seen Oprah talk about Paul from the segment, and Mariah introducing him.

I loved this song ever since this aired and i downloaded the Gospel Album that came with it on there. I dreamed that one day her DEMO of this song would be released and beyond elated that, that dream would be realized.

This song is beautiful, and beautifully done. My daughter used to request this every morning on our way to work and school. We lost our cd moving and couldn't remember where to find it. I am glad someone posted this too. I am buying another WOW cd.
Mariah is one of the greatest influences in my life, I tried channeling her when we recorded it. All her dynamics and inflections are stuck in my brain. Hope that makes it clear.

After finding out this song through the track list I've been obsessed. I cannot wait for Mariah's version but this is also so good. Which I knew about this song sooner.
I was attending my home service once, and a youngster (8 year-old) began to sing this song. I went to someone afterwards, and ask the entitlement of this song; downloaded it to my phone, and been listening ever since. At first I thought it was an African American youngster, no discrimination, just saying.

It spoke to me too & was one of the first songs I ever performed when I was 8, I LOVE this song and is still one of my favorites till this day!
