Oil pastels are my favorite medium, and the Paul Rubens ones are nice. I made the mistake of buying the HIMI ones because the gouache is so nice, but no, they were dry and horrible.

I am fascinated by the deep sensibility in your artistic process. From the way the light falls on your work surface, to the sound of your pencil gently scratching the paper, to the harmony that you create by blending those rich pinks and purples and yellows and oranges... and the beautiful music playing in the background, that you choose so carefully. I mean... ending on Franz Gordon's Anemoia is just perfect! It makes me want to go sit at my piano, instantly! Да , это очень жирная пастель , у меня есть набор из 12 цветов , взяла для пробы , есть мелки не такие мягкие и желтые прозрачные , а белый это чтото и отдельна комплект в валлдберриз купила и не пожалела , у вас прекрасная работа , у меня есть пастель малевич и очень мягкая , гамма и галлери , гамма похоже по качеству на корейскую , и цветами похоже потому что гамму делали вмкорее , вот смотрю и думаю , взять ли мне рубенс этот или который похож на сенелье французкую пастель , но она очень жирная , чем эта , можно ли такой пастелью рисовать на холсте , и я рисую ещё водорастворимым маслом кобра , а вам желаю творческих успехов .

Can Paul Rubens oil pastel be so oily that the oil seeps through the paper sleeve and your finger is so stained with oil just touching it? I bought a set with a cheap expense, and when I asked the supplier ab my concern (worrying I bought a fake one) they said it was due to hot weather and the oil would dry when it was cooler/colder. I returned the set anw. Can anybody here help me cf if this is the real deed?

No, no for me… maybe it’s the paper’s texture or the quality of the pastels but it looks grainy and rather muddy. Have you tried Sennelier? I’ve heard good reviews 😊
