That right there's a "you know you're full of it. I know you're full of it. You know that I know you're full of it. But we're still going to this song and dance, aren't we" stare if I've ever seen one.
@@Marko-gc4qm Not to the same degree as Ryan or a lot of republicans. Insurance companies didn't really have any incentive for Obamacare passing. But they knew it was likely to pass, so they did have influence in the final bill that passed to ensure that their profits wouldn't be adversely affected, and 11 years later they are doing better than ever.
So easy for this senador to say to let the people to handle medical insurance. When I got un-employed, I couldn't afford any insurance because the monthly payment was to crazy high. I am glad we have AHCA in place for those people who can't afford medical insurance.
It is way cheaper to live in red states. As you know a job in Mississippi would buy you a shead in Cali. The federal govt gives more money to people below the income line well in order for California ppl to qualify for that, they will need to lower the limit of it, so hence states with lower cost of living also reek the benefits
This aged well. Props to the youtuber for leaving the comment section up. We know how much republicans love their freedom of speech, let's see what they have to say.
"we don't want the gov't in control of this, we want people in control" - the same people that got a Supreme Court decision that says 'corporations are people too.'
and when giving the chance to 'repeal and replace' he just stammered and stuttered like a prick before resigning 😅 Bet he's sitting on the toilet right now reading his favourite Ayn Rand comics...
The people should be in charge, which is why the majority of them want Medicare for All. You just don't want to acknowledge that it's your corporate insurance friends who are actually in charge now
You do not have town hall meetings in Connecticut. People won't be control because you will have insurance companies in control. And I don't want them control anymore than they are now. You are throwing the baby out with the bathwater. Fix it, ACA, if you think its wrong. Create more competition in these states. But don't get rid of it all.
Republicans propose and propose ideas about the budget and other areas of concern and need within this country. Hoewever, their proposals do not help the average American citizen at all.
'We dont think the government should be running this, the people should be running this'...... what happened to a government "by the people and for the people"? Shouldnt the government running a program be equivalent to the people running a program? I think Ryan is confused... but then again, so is 90% of DC.
How about this...we go back to a pre-oboma era when u either got covered by your employer or you bought a healthcare plan that you liked and the doctor you liked. Then in your round 2 and round 3 you can see if you can put together something better than government run health care..
@HeyMildred but prior to ACA, companies refused to cover people due to pre-existing conditions. So you’re suggesting some people get stripped of insurance - something which is part of the pursue of happiness?
I believe Speaker Ryan is correct that don't control Americans' own private life, privacy and own decisions makings as living in a Capitalism systems country America of liberty and entrepreneurships, as long as they respect America's own rules of the laws of constitutions to build America altogether by America's own patriotism and loyalty. Together, support and help each other for America's own greatness of security and safety, prosperity and unity by America's own foundation and constitutions, patriotism and loyalty only. God bless America.
Am I wrong or what? Does Ryant want women to make their own decisions with their bodies? I think Ryant shouldn't tell women what to do with their bodies.
They were awesome. Paul Ryan got called out for not recognizing a very important body of council used to determine metrics regarding the economy and Paul Ryan was almost making up numbers. I hope to find that reply one day. Even if I have to find it myself in CSPAN archives.
I agree with Paul Ryan about who should be in control, in fact I think the American public should be able to see all of our Congresspersons personal portfolio's so we could actually see who may influence their votes and ideas. Just like when CNN began to show Congress on TV, the persons of Congress began to actually show up for the discussions.More transparency is in order rather than less.
Jobs, jobs and jobs -- all those students and young educated Americans need jobs with health care benefits, like we had when we silent generation had when we started our careers in the 1950's and 1960's. Get a new industrial revolution started to create millions of new working and management class jobs again! The key just might be energy independence once again.
Says a guy that never introduced any good health care legislation and wanted to stretch the retirement age to 70 but he retired at 48 with full benefits ? till nowadays Rep never had a courage to replace what they wanted with anything of value. Freaking Tucán 😂
lmaoooo...this video is proof that the lunacy of people who pretend to govern and represent people is astounding...maybe these types of talks should happen in a stadium full of people...and ppl would get a chance to speak for themselves lol
Don't forget to thank demented Trump, spineless Ryan and deadman walking McConnell for that $1.5 TRILLION they just added to the deficit when they sign this asinine "tax reform". Trump & corporate America get paid and the WORKING CLASS does the paying.
"I will not sign a plan that adds one dime to our deficits -- either now or in the future. (Remarks by President Obama to a Joint Session of Congress, September 9, 2009)" is what is right in the video description. Hilarious.
