Paul is our only first-person witness to Jesus' resurrection, but as he lays out his understanding, in 1 Corinthians 15:35-54, of what that entailed, namely the transformation of the human being Jesus from flesh and blood to a "life-giving Spirit," it is in sharp contrast to the common idea of a body reviving and leaving an empty tomb. How can this be?
