A hell of a lot of class he has displayed by doing these sessions from his home. Thank you Mr. Stanley for doing your part during these very difficult days.
The fact that Paul is just chilling and uploading him playing some of KISS's most famous songs really shows how he loves music and wants to play it through these tough times god bless everyone who is effected by coronavirus
I think Paul is such an underrated guitarist. Paul has always blown my mind with his voice, writing and guitar playing. Some don't realize how talented he truly is!! Please keep posting these videos!! Everyone stay safe and God Bless.
Yeah paul is 100% an underrated rythm player. He doesnt have the solo capability that kulick or even ace had, but he never cared for it. He can solo if he wants. Some players are just like that. And the dude can write a catchy hook in his sleep. It's crazy how he was able to write so many great catchy songs through multiple decades.
People I don’t know how anyone can put a thumbs-down to this. It’s absolutely and completely inappropriate. What Paul is doing here for all of us is purely out of kindness.
Never understood why the thumbs down exists at all... why watch if you don't like it? Almost feels like RU-vid just randomly adds them automatically just because...
Paul's voice is not the same of 70's and this is definitely not matter. He continues to sing very well and leaves greats songs to us. Thanks for all, Paul! You Rock!!
During one of Paul’s interviews he said his greatest accomplishment from being in kiss was he had set his parents up for life. I’ve always respected him for that comment. Keep this up Paul it’s a very great way to take are minds off this pandemic even just for a few minutes a day.
I became a bigger kiss fan after listening to Paul's book. It's good and he read it. I haven't seen them since 86 in Toledo. Planning on going to see them for my 50th birthday this fall. Hopefully!
I remember sitting in my room playing "i stole your love" at probably 8yrs old over and over and over thinking to myself...a song can't get more kick ass then that. It's still true now and I'm over 50 and I've been a kiss fan since i was 8yrs old in 1977. I got sent to the principals office in 3rd grade and got my ass chewed for bringing a kiss album to music class on a day the teacher had told us we could bring a record that we liked. I got my ass kicked for liking "i stole your love" but it was worth it. At least my mom was cool She bought it for me. She passed away in july 2018. Miss her everyday. LOVE YOU MA! God bless ya Paul.
You rock BO, never stop rocking. All of us KISS fans have our battle scars, I know I have mine but we keep on keeping on, just like the band that ruined us, and they're no apologies. Much love from Jacksonville Fla.
At about the same time, I was pounding the crap out of my parents couch with wooden spoons "playing along" to I Stole Your Love. My Mum would let me use her make up, platform boots, leather belts, wigs...she even sewed Gene costume for me. She was truly awesome, I miss her every day too. It's the great memories that last, I'm sure it's the same for you Bo. Maybe it's the connection to my youth but Paul's videos are grounding, they help steady the ship. Hope he keeps them coming.
@@TooStonedToBobsled i remember being kiss for Halloween! Genes make up! I wanted to be Ace but the silver make up was impossible to replicate at that time. I used all my mom's eye liner! LOL
@Joseph Nickell lol my music teacher didn't like kiss but to the other kids i was a hero especially for getting my ass kicked by the principal over it.
There is no way not to fall in love with you, Paul. There is no way not to fall in love with your work, with your music. Even today I get emotional when I hear this song - wonderful! Your interpretation is beautiful - what a beautiful job! Thank you so much for providing us with these beautiful moments in our life, in my life, especially. Thank you! Congratulations! You're the guy, always have been!
KISS is like a car, it’s been everywhere and has experienced different passengers, but the Starchild has always been the driver Edit: I love all your replies ♥️♥️🎸🎸
@@matthewpaluch777 yeah its Paul's band. As far as making the brand, yeah, that's gene. Paul sustained the band and Gene made them coca cola. Its the perfect partnership honestly. Kiss wouldnt have survived till today without either of them.
If there's one good thing about staying home, it's that we get to see the person Paul is and how he connects with us. These videos will play on for future generations.
This is feeling more like a 6 month stay indoors event. I'm sure Pauls going to lead us down a very enjoyable memory lane of stories and songs. Keep em coming.
I sat down at a rhythm review and got to see KISS 2003 with Aerosmith! The curtain dropped and Gene's bass was like thunder! Paul rocked his electric guitar like a wizard and sang tenor! Peter's drumming was fantastic! Tommy is a talented musician and the KISS, Aerosmith Show was Great! So it was a lot of fun and I would take another date! 😈 ⚡ 😻 ⭐
My number one favorite Front man since I was 11 years old. I'm now 53 and I still love and appreciate the StarChild as a mortal man. Genuine class act, Paul Stanley is an American Rock Icon! God bless everyone in this time of unimaginable turmoil, stay safe to live to see another Kiss Tour, cause this ain't the end of the road just yet people! 🙏🤘
I am from the Czech Republic, also 53 years old. Kiss is the number one for me. When the pandemic is over, Kiss will play again. I send you greeting and good health. My English is bad.
@Paul Stanley if this is really you, I have been a fan since I was 12 years old. Kiss has been in my life since then. Music is part of my DNA. I especially love your style of writing and singing. I thought your solo album was the best out of all four. Being a kid and having Kiss to listen to all the way through to my adulthood has been one of the best experiences of my life. Your band, among others has been the soundtrack of my life. Thank you again for your contribution to music and for being such a down to earth decent human being.
It's no secret he has problems with his throat and hearing. I'm not hating....being realistic. I can still respect him, appreciate what he's doing here, and be thankful. Tom Jones is like 80....I'm not sure what you were trying to say with the "50 years" thing.
I whould be lock down for ever if it means Mr Stanley sing to us like this. Your the best . What a fantastic singer and guitar player. Like to hear some original material from dressed to kill.

@@paulstanley6853 I just found this link and had to reply. I just finished listening to the DVDs of your book FACE THE MUSIC. I loved it. Sorry to say that I am a new KISS fan. I've been binging on every you tube video I can find of your interviews and songs . I love your voice . I could sit and listen to you endlessly. You just know how to say things without sounding like it's all about you. Words seem to flow so easy for you. Light up the night is on constant replay along with Everytime you look at me. I love these videos. God gave Rock and roll to you is another favorite. I purchased an autographed copy of one of the first editions of your book. I had to add your autograph to my collection. Just wish I could have seen you in person to obtain it. I also have to mention that I purchased your Soul Station CD and I love that too. I, oh I is my favorite. That to is on replay. Any plans to your with that? Thank you for what you do. I like your personality and sense of humor you give in your interviews it puts a smile on my face. Paul Stanley - YOU...are my role model in life. Beyond the Star Child of Kiss is a person whose passion to succeed has surpassed any boundary you have faced. Your contributions to music are beyond measure, and your contributions to humanity and society are grossly under appreciated. Thank you for all you have done.
You've been so special to me since 1979 you've been such a real role model to me when things went wrong....You have keep me off drugs and boose and helped me to enjoy my life thru your Music and shows You helped me to believe in me !!💝
Paul that was beautiful and I dedicated to my two daughters, we almost paid with our lives to feed people during this CV19 crisis 😭 My name is Mike, my wife Sheena and our 16 year old daughter Kaitlyn were in a tragic head on collision with a semi truck on our way to open our small grocery store in Kamloops, British Columbia Canada. 4 days after you posted this message. Our daughter came that morning to help her parents and our customers and to go online school during this crisis. My wife and I have broken bones and fractures and broken hearts. Our girl was ejected from the vehicle and is in ICU in a coma with brain trauma but our little girl is a fighter and a big KISS fan! Her big sister Ashley just turned 23 years old while her sister is fighting for her life and they are so very close 😞 We brought them both to see KISS play Kelowna, B.C. for the very first time and Ashley was at the Vancouver B.C farewell tour. Our hope and prayers stay positive, her Dr’s see her progress fighting through this and I ask anyone to please have a positive thought and a prayer for Kaitlyn as it would mean so much to us and her! 🙏 Sincerely,, Big KISS fans! And to KISS thank you for the music, the memories and to the message that brings us ALL together! Mike
Mike, my name is Darrell White ( I posted a comment if you would like to read it) and I live in Southern Mississippi, but prayers aren’t limited to distance! You and your entire family will be in my prayers! Please keep me posted on you and your family’s progress at: darrellw924@gmail.com My son was killed in the line of duty September 29, 2018 and it has been very difficult for me. But prayers and love have gotten me through, just as it will guide you through this difficult time in your life. When I’m feeling down, I can always listen to KISS and it always helps my mood!
What a beautiful Martin guitar! One of the perks of being a legend, I guess. Aw, don't apologize for "The Elder"! It's one of my favorite records with some great tracks. Plus, Paul solos are fire. Very underrated guitarist, I love it when he steps forward.
@@Scott__C Of course it's just certain ranges, this is why they have tuned down certain songs so he can hit the notes better. He also sounds like he has a cold here or just got over one but he still sang this song pretty good, he did miss a couple of notes but hey no one is perfect. His guitar playing was flawless as usual, which is why it irritates me to hear people say he can't play the guitar, obviously they have never heard him play then!
When you strip performer from all of the glamour and focus only on the artist's talent, you see actually how talented the artist is. Paul has that thing called IT. KISS Army forever
I met Paul in the fall of 1978 right after the solo albums came out. Paul was in Manny’s in NYC and he was buying an acoustic guitar that day. I was 16 and I was a huge fan and I still am . I walked up to him and shook his hand and said I loved the solo record. He was as kind and cool that day as he is in this video.
This brought tears to my eyes. KISS has been such a big part of my life since I was a kid and having you beside us through this tough times means a lot. Thank you. 🇧🇷❤️
It feels like we are at your house, just hanging out. Revenge is a great album, something to be very proud of. One of my favorites. It gets a little hard to sift through & pick a single favorite. All your albums are part of the trip we started back in early 70’s. I know you aren’t crazy about The Elder, but it is what you had to say at the time & I wanted to listen. I enjoy this glimpse of who you are.
I can remember waiting around at our local drug store, money in hand from mowing lawns, just waiting for the latest kiss albums to arrive. Then riding bike as fast as possible to get home & listen to it. Greatest memories.
Tommy Kawasaki: I remember when Creatures came out. I went in the Listening Booth, and looked around and picked up whatever I was getting. On the way to the register, I looked over, and saw that bluish album cover. Back then, of course we didn’t know when anything was really coming out. I just grabbed it, looked at it, and thought “they’re back.” I threw it on the pile, and bought it. Today, it rarely seems worth buying an album from most artists, because it’s just another opportunity to be disappointed. Don’t get me wrong, there are some great albums that came out in the last 20 years. Great to the point that I listened to them until I can’t listen to them anymore (if that makes sense!). But that’s not the norm ...
dee bedwell Our drug store guy kept a list of what was coming in the next week or two. Creatures was pretty pivotal. I was 15 & had just bought my 1rst car when it came out. Recorded the album onto a Maxell & just sat in my car, in the driveway, rockin out. I remember where I got all my Kiss albums & the ones I got with my kids. Now I have 3 grandchildren, that need to learn about Kiss. LOL !
This Song is Beautiful it's so Powerful an Emotional love this and a big Thank You To this Beautiful And Kind Man for taking time out to Sing This Beautiful Song 💜🌹 XXXX
Nicely done, sir... as a musician myself I can appreciate your unplugged take on these masterpieces of classic rock. And of course it’s not perfect. That’s the beauty of it! Thanks for helping us all through this tough time... 🙏
Paul Stanley I wanna say is that I love you my dude I’m a 15 yr inspired musician and been playing guitar for 2 years now and you’re coming to my place on the 29th of September and I’m not really sure if I can see u guys perform at my first concert but I pretty hope you and ur family are doing well. And I pretty hope everyone in the comment section is doing alright. Stay safe my dudes.✌️🎶🎸
I saw KISS on the 2nd run through the USA on the original reunion tour in Kansas City. Kemper arena was either sold out or very close to sold out. Im more of an 80s and 90s KISS fan although they only played the 70s stuff it was still an awesome memory 🤘🤘🤘
Tremendo caudal de voz de Paul y hermoso sonido que saca a esa acustica, hay dos canciones de Kiss que amo mucho, una es esta y la otra es Forever, hermosas baladas de rock, gracias maestro.
There's a reason I've been a fan. At 15 I'd hear "Alive" blasting through my cousin's bedroom door. Blasting it through a top of the line stereo system, through uninsulated walls. You could just feel that hard pounding beat, those guitars. Those songs, voices and licks. I fell in love with the music long before I ever saw what the band looked like, and once i saw the album cover I was hooked. The album cover had me mesmerized for the longest time. The hand written letters were pure genius. I didn't know who was who in the photos, but I gravitated towards Ace and knew I wanted to be a guitarist. Thanks for everything KISS. It's been a wonderful ride so far.
Hey buddy, I also was 15 years old when I saw the KISS alive 2 poster on the wall of friends older brother. I stood there looking and thought, if the music matches the image this is rock n roll. Then I heard the music and I've been on the KISS roller coaster ever since and I'm 58.Much love from Nature BOY C.J.Johnson of Jacksonville Fla.
Such a great person, great singer, song writer, and guitar player. I grew up listening to Kiss albums in the 80'-90's. The greatest band of all time in my opinion. Thank You Paul Stanley for your encouraging kind words while the entire world goes through this terrible & miserable ordeal, and for all of the great music over the years. God Bless You, Your Family...…....and also the entire world...…...I love you all, and we need to get through this pandemic together. Don't give up, lets fight it together.
Thank You, Stay Safe We Love You, Paul, it's so true to try to be kind to everyone and tell them you love them because life is a gift every day there aren't no guarantees in life & we will not be around forever nor our loved ones. Kiss is in our hearts and minds forever thanks for the greatest performances/tours & memories Take care stay safe with your family & friends. Peace & Love . Phil
Paul is the absolute GOAT. I didn't get to experience the best years of KISS, but I'm so thankful all the music is still around. People talk a lot of shit about him and Gene but I will always be grateful for KISS!!!
Yes l remember when l watched something some where, when Gene was remembering when Eric lit a smoke bomb and under the door when Gene was entertaining a girl with multi colored hair, he had tears rolling down his face,
Wowww..keep these intimate videos coming Paul..they are great. What a lovely tone that guitar has and beautiful inlay. Yes Paul the Elder was a weird album..some good songs, but the concept idea I think didnt work. Revenge ..now that's more like it. You have a lovely view there Paul, that balcony looks beautiful.
@PaulStanley-dg7hk l met you when l was a very young lad of 13 years old. You actually took the time to speak and take a picture with my sister and l. It us a day we will never forget. Thank you and never stop rocking!!
