"That bloody Dennis Flint. He's only got some Brazilian strippers in for his Thursday nights. OAP Karaoke Night won't compete. The Phoenix will be quieter than a bloody morgue Thursday night.."
It would have been funny if he's cracked Dennis for saying that to him lol but i guess he wouldn't dare as Dennis was a multi millionaire so he'd soon have had maniac Sykes sorted out LOL
@@davidwhaite3330 But u can imagine why he said his a maniac . The 2 of them having a few drinks and next thing Dennis is getting the head kicked off him for nothing but his annoying ways .
@@dmode2793 I always right "you are" lol...anyway do you really think he wanted 80p for that beer in some way?? please reply so I know my messages are getting through.
A degenerate scumbag who talks about him being a criminal for money. Jesus christ you are easily amused. Chaps a degenerate bully who caused misery for a few quid.
He's like the stereotypical 1980s northern wheeler-deeler with a bit of money who's come from a rough estate and still associates with his old (criminal) mates from the estate Like a northern Arthur Daley 😂😂
Very good.......these people are like extreme caricatures.......successful, sleazy, cigar smoking wanker with the 'Rolls Royce' bar.......he looks wealthy but everything around looks tacky, cheap and has no class
"I've had a few swims in the Mediterranean " ...this man should not be allowed back in the water after the way he battered those shaaaarks in the Straits of Johoar..
@@krandom9283 They've tried reintroducing the native shark species back in the straits, but they immediately act terrified and swim away. And nobody knows why.
@@moerocco775 they are obviously scared of the good 'Buggering ' that Syke's is renowned to dish out..... But maybe that's only true if the 'Buggeree ' is a teenage young prisoner??
I watched the documentary on this man's life and I was both appauled and saddened at the same time. What is it that they say about 'the sins of the father being visited on the son'. Sykes' father comes across as a pitiful, genial old man, but to my mind it was his brutal treatment of his son that had a profound and catastrophic effect on Paul Sykes life. Sykes was an undoubtedly bright man; imagine what he might have amounted to with a lot less violence and discipline and a bit more love and compassion and positive guidance. The sad truth is that there are many men like Paul Sykes in this country today who think it's great to create sons after their own image. Sykes had two sons and both are serving long sentances for murder. Sad.
He was a loathsome 'gobshite' and a 'bully' and he was also mentally unstable but he was definitely no dummy. Even people with PhD's can have the 'criminal gene' that can lead to a lifetime of crime and incarceration.
Paul Thomas I grew up on lupset estate ,my dad was mates with him told me many stories of the 2 growing up ,Paul's demise is a very tragic and upsetting end to like you say "could of had a more positive approach in life. But again what chance did he have bad parenting at times can lead to bad consequences. Sad really.
I've read the book and I can tell you, Paul Sykes had an amazing talent as a writer. For a violent dipsomaniac he's got a keen sense of storytelling as well as memorable lines.
Yes it shocked me, his command of language and vocabulary was amazing! and anyone can tell it is his words because he writes like he talks. I found the book shocking, his opinion of women was fucking awful. The second book "Unfinished Agony" puts far more light on what he was really like. It is hilarious , shocking and tragic all at the same time.
Keep watching Paul Sykes videos it becomes addictive as his take on life was mad. Know he wasn’t a decent man. But you get entertained watching his videos. And it helps to pass yet another lockdown.
Paul was a serious dude, when in jail,he had Walton screws shook, not many people did that yrs ago,but the man missed his real calling, comedy...he's a funny affable character
I never met Paul but my Dad knew him briefly in Birmingham in the 60s. My dad said he was a genuine hard man. I remember watching this documentary in early 90s. Funny as fook. Only found out today he was dead. RIP Paul
@@SurnameJones with respect when I watched the documentary as a teenager and when I wrote my comment 11 years ago I had no idea that he attacked young men sexually whilst in prison.
"Im over 18 and my dad knows ive come ere" fucking brilliant, guy was probably a pest to be around and everyone was on edge, no doubt a fighter by nature. Shows some signs of physcopathic tendencies but we all can.
More likely Sykes knew Flynt was a regular pay packet for him, though I agree in a sense, but I don't think it was out of respect from Sykes, he didn't gives two fucks for anyone but himself and he was a nonce to boot
Dennis is one of the bits I love best about this video, I wait for him to come on, I have found myself saying {out loud} Did you get your wages, did you get your wages like Dennis does and several other catchphrases from this video. The way he tries to show off about being abroad for 3 months is priceless and when the camera pans back to reveal that desk ALWAYS still shocks me. This video has more bad taste than anything I have ever seen in one place, the 2 club singers {one is definitely a bloke} , the beautiful wedding and the instructions on what to do with sharks is simply wonderful.
Sykes was paid more for this TV interview than any crime job he was involved with. The Big Boys played Sykes like a fool and he died a pauper. So much for the hard-man act.
The prize was £15! did you not see that on the video??. Like everything in this wonderful video it is perfect! I bet he threatened that assistant Governor to say he was brighter than the men who locked him up
