There’s nothing we love more than a The Vampire Diaries reunion. We have Paul Wesley to thank for this one. He surprised Nina Dobrev during a live taping of her brand-new TV show called Fam. What’s even better is Nina shared a clip of the adorable moment on her Instagram Stories so we can watch it over and over again.
Ummm can Paul be our friend, too?! Nina was SO excited to see him that she ran out of place to go give him a hug and then realized where she was and got back in line with the cast. We love that these two have remained such good friends over the years. Fam marks Nina’s first TV regular role since leaving TVD prematurely in 2015.
And even though she left TVD before it was over, it’s clear she still has fond memories of her time on the show. Just a week ago Nina posted an Instagram carousel of throwback pics from The Vampire Diaries set. She captioned the post “#TBT to #TVD”. In the carousel we see stunning photos of Nina dressed as her character Katherine Pierce wearing period clothing. We have a feeling that Nina’s new TV gig is making her reminisce about her life-changing role on TVD.
