We had the chance to see "Wait, Wait" a few years ago, and we were all hoping she would be a panelist that night. She wasn't - it was Mo Rocca, Roxanne Roberts, and PJ O'Rourke. It was a lot of fun and Carl Cassel was still the scorekeeper. Peter Sagal looks like Stanley Tucci, too. From a distance.

Paula is hysterical, followed her for years with stand up. I was wondering for a while where's she's been. She seems like she's doing well. Geeze, Most of what she is saying is going right over people's heads because there's a punch in almost every sentence she says! Are they not listening or do they not get it. A lot of her humor is very dry and you have to listen and think fast! You go Girl!

I'm surprised people forgot that this woman was caught driving drunk with her foster kids in her car, and despite claiming to be asexual engaged in sexual acts with a minor she was the foster parent of. She performed in Boston a while ago, and as an Uber driver I drove a bunch of people there. I asked almost every person if they remembered that, and no one had heard that story before. Perhaps after seeing Mel Gibson get another chance, she thought it was her turn?
@SandraNelson063
@SandraNelson063 7 лет назад
Sean Bean There was a situation with a foster child who lied about her, because at Paula's house there were rules. The important thing is that the judicial system is finished with her. She is no longer under investigation or scrutiny. She is a free woman. Let go. How squeaky clean is your life?
@bonnieburns1600
@bonnieburns1600 7 лет назад
Sean Bean, Sandra Nelson is right. Please don't defame Paula Poundstone. Anyone can be charged with something, that doesn't mean they are guilty. That is why we have courts of law. Those charges were dropped because they were found to be untrue. As may often be the case, the scandalous headlines hit the papers and airwaves. I don't know that there was much of a notice about the outcome of the case. The presiding Judge on the case has even recommended to Paula that she petition to have her record expunged. Please consider having some compassion toward a fellow human being the way you might want had accusations been leveled at you that were untrue.
