Paula Poundstone is the absolute best. Her honesty on alcoholism is a very relatable place for me. The fact that she can speak on it so candidly with a light "seriously humorous" touch is brilliant to me.
She should've been a mainstay on his show, she was the only female he had on that could challenge him comedically instead of sexually and succeed. They made a great duo that should've been made in to something bigger.
They do so well together on stage. I always love me some Paula Poundstone and Craig Ferguson, either together or by themselves. I do miss Craig's show.
craig was the reason i would race in the door at night and frantically tune in so as to not miss a *moment* of his intro. i’d forgotten how special each night was because of craig, and the reward he was after making it through another day. ❤️❤️❤️
Paula Poundstone was right! Craig Ferguson has thrown himself away on stupid talk game shows. What a waste of talent. Craig… You are a fantastic actor. Go make another film with Brenda Blethyn you were so great in that. make an intelligent film not a stupid American one but a good one preferably across the pond. Do something worthy of your caliber of talent otherwise you're like Einstein working at McDonald's. I miss Craig, but I really miss Jon Stewart. JS left too early considering who's in the White House at the moment (Aug 2018). Also - Paula is great. Hope she never quits.
Not that I'm bored of Capaldi and want to see him go, but when it's time..... Craig for the Thirteenth Doctor? I have my heart set on Miranda Richardson for 13, but.... I'd be happy to see Craig. ;)

She was right. Craig should never have left the show. Although I enjoyed James Cordon’s Carpool Karaoke, I still miss watching Craig even after 8 long years. His other ventures just don’t do his talents Justice. Wish he would reach out to the company that produced Conan O’Brien’s show, or became the Late Night Show for ABC airing after Jimmy Kimmel!
I adore Paula Poundstone. Had a chance to meet her at a book signing just outside DC some years ago. Now? I am back in LA, where she lives. Still not friends...(that was a joke, I'm not a stalker).
They had to get another talentless hack on late night ---True talent doesn't stand a chance ! I doubt Craig would have devoted his whole show to acting like he dated DONALD TRUMP in high school . The only thing I have against TRUMP ...COMEDY HAS GOTTEN SO SHITTY SINCE HES BEEN IN OFFICE !
And what happened to Craig? ...faded into oblivion. Tried to get another talk show and it was so low on the cable channel list no one saw it. Can't get any work, other than going on _C_ list podcasters, broadcasting out of their apartment living rooms.
