Ladies and gents....it's called TALENT. I can remember the original, a great song. This is was what MUSIC is....NOT whatever that stuff is on the radio today. GREAT SINGER.
there have only been a handful of country songs in recent years to make it on the radio that sound Country . But the best Era for Country was the late 80s-early 1990s. Thats when it was traditional, yet sounded new and fresh and contemporary.
Always found her voice riveting. Don't think she can sing a bad song. And the dedicated musicians she surroundings herself with makes things even better!
Paulette Carlson a home town girl with a great voice real country music she is one of the best female singer in country music thank you paulette Carlson from moose lake Minnesota I'm from sturgeon lake Minnesota 8 miles away nice to see talent like she has
We all miss this girl, but she has to do what makes her happy.. Maybe she will get the urge sometime to get back on the bandwagon and do some more great stuff.. Till then-be happy Paulette..We love you
Wow! I’ve loved Paulette beginning with her Highway 101 days. There is nothing like that incredible voice combined with her sexy and sassy delivery! Can’t get enough of her.
I sen her at a a Vietnam conferance in Tuscon ,Az years ago. Her brother was in the Americal Division a few years before I got to Nam , I got her autograph and her album she signed on it . She performed before the Veterans.
I know her through a close friend of mine that I knew from my home area. They were together for a quite while. The song was inspired from and written in relation. She went to do her music as he told her to do. And he'd be there. Lives..... I knew him till the end... And we remained kindred spirits of friends. He is now watching us from Heaven and we will see each other again. So Sad he was only 30. One of THEE NICEST KINDEST GUYS I've ever known. I had the chance to meet her actually in person in NC at a concert she was doing here. She was Solo then. Very talented and sweet person. A place in my heart always...
+webbjr37 Written in relation to my dear dear friend, whom i won't name. We became good friends. Kindred Spirits. He was in love with her, his true love until he went to heaven at the young age of 30. He and I were from the same area, same state. He told her to go pursue her music. He had to stay. It was so sad, I think she was in love with him too, right up and past the end of his life here on earth. But ? i don't know where things may have went. He went home home and I lost a dear dear friend/brother that I know we would be forever friends until we grew old. But he went soooo wayyy tooo soon!! I miss him to this minute.
+webbjr37 You hear right away she says a True Love from Fargo, North Dakota. My home state and Im from about 40 miles from there. Worked in Fargo, met him there. A TRUE LOVE, I Saw and Heard it from Him.
Paulette Carlson. Wow! What a wonderful voice. I see in the following comments that so many of them mention her voice. It's no wonder that is the case. This song is also my favorite by Highway 101.
U know I've been listening to highway 101 tapes out in old fence building crummy Nevada desert 🏜 and heard this lady in my dreams when I was a puppy kid 🎶
