@@slummadekell7626 since I'm white from CA I had to use the "urban dictionary" to even understand wtf you were suggesting. I did two stints back to back totallying 5 years not counting all the county jail time before that. Since I'm from O*C we go to Wasco for reception. From there I went to old Corcoran, then Susanvilles cascade yard, to Alder fire camp, then to the hole in Pelican Bay, back to Susanville's hole where I did a 14-month SHU term for an A-1 offense (the worst kind), then kicked out to the three yard there and paroled on high control parole with gang terms. They give you gang terms when you're involved in the stabbing of another race when it's not a riot. I'll give you one guess what race it was.. They're good for yellin, tellin, and smellin.. Lol earned my swastika tattoo from that one. I'll never forget that super high pitch scream for the cops.. Like music to my ears.

Ever see Oz or the Wire? Two other great series with a lot of the same actors and writers that have a few episodes really similar to the Sopranos.

@@allgunsblazed9106 The wire is interesting, it’s basically about the drug game in Baltimore where each season sees the rise and fall of new characters. It has some of the Sopranos twisted humor in showing the rational paths taken to chaos and you find yourself rooting for awful people like Omar who robs drug dealers by his twisted sense of honor. Its very well written

Paulie was a huge earner. Chris coming up short right after paulie gave him the gambling racket was Chris being a chump. Chris was smart and could do better, but he always tried to do the minimum because he knew Tony was his lifeline. Paulie loved Chris but he is no chump. How can you be light as a bookie? Damn near impossible. Chris didn't do his research and didn't change the odds when a teams kicker was injured and he ot burned. How was that Paulies problem?

The one problem I had with the Sopranos is how it made LCN look like an extreme wealth find. Most of the guys, even made men, struggled to grind out a living. This is why hits became so prevalent during certain periods; Guys would do them for pretty cheap oftener than not.

I think some people don't see how Paulie Was being an ass to Chris not because he enjoyed it (although he does that too) but if Chris comes short that means that Paulie's money will be short going to Tony. You think Tony's going to be happy if his cut isn't the way he likes it? Paulie's looking out for himself and Chris. Take the business seriously.

My old boss was like Paulie..... Pulled some shit like this w me one day.... His son got real sick and he got behind w paying us all, even tried shorting us on checks..... Needless to say, he wouldn't back down, wouldn't reimburse us for what he had done.... He got like five years in the can after the IRS and social security office found out he was cutting all sorts of corners AND shafting his employees. Don't feel bad

Paulie was on the right here. He might be a cheapskate, but Chris was a soldier for 2 minutes and already coming short. And he got off easy, with a scold and a little warning fee, even after saying he spent it on bets. Some old school guys beat you up and ask for the double for that.
