She finally said something about the translators!! I feel sorry for some good contestants due to poor translators they didn't go far although they could've gone far
uhm isn't that more unfair every other girls did they're best but some here just cheat the answers to go their way poor other smarter and kind contestant!
@@paolosantiago3163 Pia and Catriona have never gotten plastic surgery. Pia grew up in a broken family and she can’t afford a surgery, and Catriona looks the exact same as when she was a baby!
I'm from the Philippines, and as an Asian, we see Latinas as the biggest threats. But she made the exception, she looks very natural, classy, kind, humble and funny. When she won, she represented a Good Latin woman in the world that made me change my thoughts about latinas. I really love her.
Me too. I don’t like the couple of winners like venezuelas winners, but she is the exception. She is beautiful and her sense of humour is too good. She is a good talker. other latino only have good walk and faces but not very good talks.

Of all the editions of this pageant in the last decade, Paulina's, Catriona's, and even Demi's are the most predictable wins. They stood out, performed outstandingly and pretty much had it in the bag from the very beginning when they won their national pageant. They've consistently topped predictions lists and have justified the hype surrounding them. Some may even say they just flew to the competition to claim the crown.
I agree, altho with Demi I had doubts on her prelims performance. but come finals night she slayed.. all 3 of them owned their finals night. but the most undeniable win for me will always be oxana federova, even when dethroned she is still one of my most favourite Miss Universe winners
Demi I was 100% sure she will win... beacuse the way she proved Less is more through her dress through her to the point Concise Answers...and the final answer making it personal by saying " the girl who has overcome her Fierce( with reference to her being as a hostage at gunpoint) and help others overcome their Fierce ( by conducting defence classes for other girls)"...❤️
@@gfdasyr I see how you could consider Thailand and Colombia as tough competition in 2017, but personally I just only saw Demi through and through. It was her energy and aura that stood out, like fresh rays of sunshine.
i can tell she had been watching MU because like she was Miss Universe material head-to-toe. she was the contestant i had been looking for as a Miss Universe fan. in one night, she delivered everything a skillful pageant girl could. not to mention, she was a Latina from South America, that entitlement that she had was a bonus. the entitlement made her go straight to the top 5. the questions were difficult and boring, but she won, now you get my point.
One of my most favourite miss universe and 2014 was such a spontaneous year to follow so many strong frontrunners and Paulina really nailed the competition.
Thank you for sharing your experience in the Miss Uniniverse you did so great. Hope that Colombia gets the crown this time I'm cheering for her Valeria Ayos very intelligent and beautiful woman that Colombia selected this year.
Omg I’m so glad she called out the organization for changing the translators for inexperienced ones. That has affected several contestants since IMG took over.

She was a good and deserving MU, yes, but my respect and admiration for her truly skyrocketed the year after when she so wisely and so maturely handled the debacle onstage after the coronation announcement, in front of millions and during a very tense moment. And she did it so spontaneously and so regally even if things were not going well for Colombia. Such poise! Such thinking! Such act! Such a queen! Paulina! Hope she'll visit the Philippines soon and even more than once like some of the recent winners have been doing.
I really want this kind of Miss universe again, smart, beautiful, fresh and real. Nowadays MUO doesn’t look at the beauty and personality anymore. They need only someone who have something good to say, to share, someone who script which make competition super boring these days.
She is definitely one the top queens all over the miss universe history. She looks amazing with out makeup. Not all the past titleholder can show their faces in front of the camera with a makeup production behind. Stunning!
I want Jamaica to win last 2014, but I admit that Paulina is someone that is hard to let go. I mean, she’s just like diamond. If I would given a chance to be woman, Paulina is one of my lists. Plus to me, she has the best body in Miss Universe EVER! ❤️

I also love to see crowning reaction from winners from 1952 to 1999 and 2000 to 2009 although some of them passed away already or did not finish their reign.
She look like a very conservative and a bit nerdy woman with that simple look... Someone like an Emma Watson look. And then she transformed into a very sexy, alluring woman during her Miss Universe journey.
Honestly I wanted either Jamaica or Espanía or Argentina to win but paulina proved she's the real queen with a heart and compassion when she was trying to cheer up Pia as she was crowning her and at the same time consoling ariadna gutierrez.
