Lmao yes I am laughing at YOU! Because you remind me of MYSELF!! 🤣😊 We can always tell someone who loves electronics and leds all we need to do is plug in a cob led addressable string light!! I reacted similar to you and my gf was laughing at me. I told her she just doesn't get it. If she seen all the leds iv seen these cob lights are awesome!! Great video my friend and I was happy to see you take leds off the spool and explain why. Iv seen many vids where they leave them on spool and plug them in and ally the are doing is harming their string lights because of heat buildup. Great Vid! I subscribed! 👍
Hello Randy! Tech is definitely infectious and I'm glad you totally understand this feeling 😂. I recently got their newly upgraded version which I hope to test out here in the coming weeks and will post a video on it! Yes! It's important to remove it off the spool, especially when plugged in after a long period of time. I wish more who review similar gadgets would do the same, as it can damage the lights.
@@CrewElite newly upgraded? Do you mean the PAUTIX RGB Smart IC COB LED Strip Light Addressable? If so I just ordered them yesterday as well and that's how I found your video here on RU-vid 👍. I can't wait to get them! Iv made addressable leds with raspberri pi and then installed a sketch in library which is preyy cool but these addressable cob leds has to look amazing! I am super excited to receive them!!
@@Randy2747 Yes Indeed! I've had mines for a bit of time now though. I think mines arrived back in April. Just have been a bit behind on videos though 😂. Hopefully I'llhave some time to do some custom DIYs on the channel as well in the near future!
@@Randy2747 They definitely have been improving with each iteration, since the first warm/cool COB LED lights I checked out! Hopefully I can get this video up in early August.
Great vids! Learned a lot thanks! I need to light 100’ but can’t figure out how many power supplies I need. I just can’t find a clear explanation of that even on the stores. Do you have cust service info for Pautix? Thanks again.
I appreciate the support and glad you like the video! I can see if I can find information on this matter for you and keep you posted. I also uploaded a review on the updated version of these lights that allow for the lights to be addressable/programmable if you are interested in this model. Let me know if you have any other questions for the time being as I do some research. Also, make sure to subscribe and share if you haven't already! Welcome to the Crew!
Hello Buster! I still remember you from the Gwools video I posted about 2 years ago! Your continued support means such much to me and I will make it up for you! I plan on doing some sort of giveaway at 10K! I have been subscribed to you, but I'll make sure to check out some of your videos from time to time!
@corijoface3980 No worries! This might be a bit tricky as I'm not sure the USB that is on the TV would supply enough power for these strip lights. Most TV USB ports only supply about 5V of power, but these lights need at least 24V. Did you purchase the USB version of these lights?
@@corijoface3980 I see. Do you know the exact amount of power that goes through the USB port on your TV? We might be able to find an adapter for the 3 pin, but we need to make sure the TV can support enough power to the port.
Thank you! I appreciate the support! Let me know if you have any questions! Also, make sure to subscribe and share if you haven't already! Welcome to the Crew!
