Persian American Women's Conference presents an evening with Sadhguru and Rabbi Wolpe discussing the mechanics of mysticism at Writers Guild Theater in Los Angeles
I have watched this same conversation on various RU-vid channels but this channel attracted a lot of negative comments. This reflects so much about the part of consciousness that involves identity He talked about. When people identify with an identity that is all you see and protect that identity. You can't go beyond that to see life in a broader light.
What a beautiful conversation. The rabbi was from a totally different background but trying his best to grasp what Sadhguru was talking about. But how to talk about something you've never tasted and still convince you that it exists out there? His overflowing love and compassion is the only reason we take him up on trust, and he knows that.
If your body is in pleasure (healthy), mind is joyful, emotions are in compassion and life energies are towards what your really cared about you will capture tremendous amount of life
You would think caring for the next generation, making sure they have food to eat, water to drink and cloth to wear is easy and natural until you become a parent.
Do you know what brahmacharis at an ashram are? They're monks whose physical, mental and spiritual well being until their death is the responsibility of the guru there. In that sense, he has 1000 children. If you count people like me whom his programs have given immense well being, then he has millions of children.
Respect to both but Sadhguru is not to the point. David Wolpe is a better thinker in my opnion. Sanhguru sees life differently however some of it does not relate to our life
you lived your life under the influence of “Islam is the only truth”. You are buried deep in ego, there is no need come out of it now. Try it in the next life this one is wasted doesnt matter how hard you try you can’t get it.
If you follow the majority of people on the earth, they will distract you from the path of God, they follow nothing but their fantasy and guess. Q'uran chap 6 verse 115
Did he make u uncomfortable.?? I think he shook some of your belief system and the safe thing to do is disown what he says....if u are so confident about what you are saying try and influence like him...lets see where u land...Namaste!
Ohh really? What did u understand when Sadguru told there are 33 million gods(dieties for Indians )for 33 million people? "Making sure fitire gerations get water. " Ambitious vs Natural human tendency! Oh! I forgot Sadguru was mentioning human tendency but der r animal tendencies too.
Rabbi made lots of sense to me too. And I liked his personality more than Sadguru. In fact I liked the man a lot. But if you really look at everything carefully, Rabbi is careful on what to say. He tries not to say something that turns the discussion unpleasant. According to me thats a quality. Sadguru on the other hand speaks without caring about any of that. And the only reason the discussion is not turning unpleasant is because of the Rabbi. Now, its debatable to say Rabbi's way of discussion is better or Sadguru's. One brings out person's thoughts as is, in the other case they are little modified to make the discussion pleasant. If I were in place of Rabbi, after sometime, I would be shouting at Sadguru for not agreeing to me on anything that I say even when I am agreeing to him. But if I step back, may be if you are seeking something bigger inside you, you need to listen to Sadguru not Rabbi. I still feel there is nothing bigger in you, but I also feel how come all these large number of people claiming to be enlightened talk about exact same thing. What if it is true?
@@RaheeAnjaan Water is water n sun is sun! N so on. Wat makes u think existence is not constant? A will always be A n B will always B irrespective of teacher n student.
Sadhguru aka Jaggi is trying to keep up his mystical expert persona. He can never assent to anything his opponent/student (that's where he wants them) says. His claims to not be inwardly affected are rubbish as you see in his "free the temples" project videos where you see his personal grief. Some guru. And of course the reason it affects him is that his ego is crying out for protection from ancient Hindu culture: hence his love of giant statues and grand temples. Rabbi Wolpe himself is an egotist; he's a famous rabbi and he had to get a famous spiritual bypassing guru instead of someone who can cut through these spiritual dilemma's much better and without dishonesty.
temples are places of spiritual growth not worshipping places... govt took control of it and damaging temples.. that is why sadhguru campaigning about free temples
Do you even know about it fully, he asked to free temples from government because lot of temples were left unutilised by the government and we're not giving authority to public to run it. He himself mentioned when asked that he would do the same if there was mosque left unutilised , check his recent interview on print where he mentions about it
