He is a legitimate authenticator... And authenticator is DIFFERENT from appraiser. Bill Gates dropped out of uni, does that make him a fake computer expert because he has no qualifications to his name, or does his experience in computers make him an expert? What about Mark? As far as we know, no university degree in authentication... Yet, he knows so much about history. I suppose Rick is a fraud as well? Didn't go to a pawn shop school...

No you obviously didn't watch the episode properly... It was a LEGITIMATE cheque. It was LEGITIMATELY authenticated. But the seller wanted 10,000 when the appraiser, Steve said it was worth 4,000. PSA did NOT appraise it prior to filming. The seller wanted 10,000, a number that the seller plucked from THIN AIR... Watch the video again..... It's not difficult to follow.
