I forgot to mention the bass cost $230 used. I didn't want to use expensive stuff with a $60 pedal. My guitar cable was more expensive than the Multi Pad 100. Check the description for a 20% off code/link.

I also forgot to mention I used a preset from Ozone on the master. I didn't tweak it etc. Kept it simple/attainable.

It sound ok on my Yamaha studio speaker or my Beyer headphone.Cheap does not mean bad, if you are a good musician even the cheap stuff can sound pretty good. What was the thing I saw the other day, oh yeah a Fortin sigil for $8000 that make noise while on standby, oups! Oh boy all those nice tube amps

I do like Donner's stuff quite a bit. They've sent me a handful of guitars and basses in the past, and everything is at least as good (if not better) than your entry level gear from Squier / Epiphone and the like. They're also decent to get sponsored by, as they don't make jump through a million different hoops like a lot of other companies do 😂

If this company doesn't release a pedal called the "Kebab" they need to fire their marketing team. A drive pedal that gives your tone some extra grease, with a toggle switch that gives it a little more sauce.

I have heard some people make great tracks with cheap equipment. If people can record tracks with a Pod 2.0 then anything can be used.

Have you had issues with the Ergodyne being super dynamic and peaky? I have to watch my playing with mine. I use a DBX compressor to bring the peaks down a bit.

What is Ergodyne? I did notice if I really dug in the bass it sounded like I shanked the pickup with the pick. But in the mix it sounded good. Like a pop in compression.
