The lack of payphones in a lot of places impacts kids the most. When I was a kid, I would go to the mall to do some small shopping and play at the arcade with some friends and when I wanted to be picked up, I'd use a pay phone to call my dad to pick me up. Now parents have to hover over their kids at all times, and there are also no longer arcades, so going to malls isn't really exciting for kids at all.
I'll see your July, and raise you January 2013, when the last "on the go" video was. Wii U Launch Special was like two days after the console came out in November, and the GameCube Menu Secrets was in September. ;) But yeah, it's been since July that Season 2 Episode 3 came out. We really shouldn't have numbered them like that. Season 2 Episode 4 is coming, promise!
They still have their uses. Cell phones break and run out of juice. Pay phones may not be as common as they once were, but I think for the sake of emergencies, they probably aren't going anywhere for a while.
