The plaintiff is a lawyer who represented the defendant in a court case. Unfortunately, the defendant still owes him money for his services, so the plaintiff is suing. The defendant claims he paid the plaintiff, but he kept asking for more money. The defendant is countersuing for being overcharged.

@@CarrieRay Exactly. She gave him a recess to explain it, then she gave him 72 more hours to explain it. And he'll come up with some sort of excuse for it, I'm sure.....and she'll happily say "Great! We're done then!" I think he did double-charge that $250.00. And he'll get away with it because he and the judge are lawyers.

Any other case. The judge will make the defendant win. The plaintiff doesn't have proof. Didn't even bring his documents. How many times when a plaintiff says they were owed but the PC judge states no proof, no cash.. here is a 180 turn and she sides with the laywer.. this is why some of this is too funny and can't be taken seriously.. just a tv show. Nothing else..

Okay, so what happened here was? The lawyer was in the wrong but because he was a lawyer. Not only did this judge not interrupt him. She gave him more time to go outside to look for and/or make up a lie as to whether 250 went. Because she's a lawyer as well. So she was giving him the benefit of the doubt. He came back with nothing, and then she gave him an extra 72 hours to think of a lie. What is disgusting example of judge lawyer bias.
