I used the stoic LMG set on Hell's Island DSOD with some tweaks to the skill tree that comforts me. Needless to say, pressing that throwable button at the right time has never been this satisfying
Yeah, those OG decks were the premiere so they offer straighforward but ultimately mediocre boosts. Decks really only started to get more intricate after Hoxton's Crook.
me and my brother got back into payday 2 recently to get the dsod mask (since payday 3 wasnt what we expected lol) love the videos and steam guides. Super informative and clear. Keep up the great work Kev
@@conmanalbuquerque3116 watch the sydney character spotlight video by overkill Link:- ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-bYGet9aibPY.html basically you do more damage you get more armor but your armor will regenerate in chunks the more armor the slower regeneration effect suit regenerates too fast but the primary akimbo styrk 18c pistols with 51 damage and 909 fire rate will fix the problem very quickly and please try to watch the anarchist part in the video til the end it explains it a lot and about other skills and weapon mods
Quick note on hacker, if you ever hear a taser charge up their stun gun you can pop your pocket ecm to interrupt them if you or a teammate is about to get tased. It works more often than not in my experience, but I still wouldn't rely on it tok heavily. Just bear in mind it's a possibility in case you end up needing to. Also cloakers are Immune to ecm feedback so if you hear one make sure to pop it not for them but potentially any other cops that could screw you over while you're trying to avoid getting kicked. Edit: Another thing, if you're using inspire aced with hacker and you want to make sure someone doesn't die when being picked up, pop your pocket ecm, wait a bit when you see the hit marker from the ecm (indicating that it stunned any cops that didn't resist the stun) before picking them up so they can potentially get some health back after being downed or simply get into cover to get their bearings.

Obviously crew chief is best because thats what the game tricked me into putting all my points into because im new and i had no indication or guide to the fact that i cant either re-use those points on another perk deck or that you can use all of them at once
I have tried atleast 100 dsod solo builds and have maybe soloed 3 loud missions. That anarchist pistol build makes you a mobile A-10 ready to destroy anything and everything wtih ease. 11/10 best build hands down.
So i'm very new to payday 2 and I somehow can't put my skill points into the skills shown in the video. It's locked for some reason. Could anyone explain why that is?

heres a little review, 9/10 very powerful builds however you could use another BR on the armorer build and get better damage but hey, nice builds. Then again i am a sucker for my rafiu the Ak17
i tried the first build in the video with the ak 17 and the sub as second but i am starving for bullets if nobody runs ammo bags. Usually with a dodge build i fly around and pick up all i need on the go. Here i am just trying to not run out of bullets :D
KevKild plays very aggressively, which is the best way to play DS/DSOD. If you play passively, you will not be able to clear enemies fast enough to get ammo pickups. Also, if you play with four players and three are playing like cowards (most DS players), it’s very hard to clear enough enemies by yourself. You could rejigger the builds to use ammo bags. One of your wuss team-mates will likely be camping a corner with a Dr. bag.
Find armorer can suffer on the first mission of hoxton's breakout though, due to how hard it is to have cover that doesn't have one grunt behind still being able to shoot you
I've been thinking of getting back into Payday 2 recently, I've been playing it since I was 9 years old back when the demo came out for the Xbox 360. I took a year long break and I was wondering if these builds are still the best in the game? I tried looking it up but the most recent video I could find was always this one. Are Stoic and Hacker still the best decks to build around? I remember when I quit the game last year it was still what everyone I knew was running and was saying is the best. Thanks in advance for any responses.
Best is relevant/preference. These do work well with a lot of other players but there's always going to be some differences. Are these up to date? Yes, they still hard carry with a bit of practice. Leech, Stoic, Kingpin, Hacker are top decks atm.
Hmmm, might have to try that armourer build with the FAL. I hope it goes well, I've been trying to make it work for me in DS but it just never quite works out.
Hey Kev really love the Berserker AR build on Console but why do you use the Gewehr? It’s a solid rifle but the ammo pickup just feels really awful. Just genuinely curious. I find the AK17 to definitely be a better replacement.
Try to single fire it by tapping the trigger, it does pretty high damage and only uses 1-5 bullets to take down a heavy swat. Its pickup rate is usually 1-3 bullets per ammo box, so using this method you can usually stay above 80 bullets in your reserve. Try to steer clear of tasers as they can waste your ammo, and if you see a dozer try to take them on with another player, or you can use your secondary to take off their face plate and finish them off with the Gewehr. And if this doesn't work you can turn on the outline for ammo pickups. And if your really desperate you can use any melee that does a stun effect (like a taser) so you can line up a headshot to conserve ammo, or just use any other gun lol
@@manperson7347 I have no problems playing the game now or conserving ammo but thank you. I was burst firing from the start. I tend to burst fire fully auto weapons in most cases
Why no one is using rangehitter tho? Highest pick up rate among u.. sniper rifles, basic frenzy gives you ability to one shot heavies like r700 or rattlesnake only with better rpm, but simple 95% zerk is enough to one shot every mid tier unit, no hvt needed even. It`s also quite concealable.
10 mag hurts with the reload. Sometimes it bugs out for me, aggressive reload just doesn't go sometimes. Yes better damage/pickup, but other snipers can do what the Rangehitter can.
@@KevKild reload is really weird on this one, i agree, but it`s not totally bad. Aggressive reload is weird as well but in consistent way and can be managed(i think it`s for balance reasons). If there is need in this rifle, ofc. I started using it as contractor replacement, but with zerk it`s more like r700 replacement for me at this point. Also, in terms of bad reload there is always lebensauger - to this day i dont understand why ovk did that to this beautiful rifle

I dont know what im doing wrong, i have the same LMG stoic build and the LMG just doesn't hit, i have to be right up on the enemies to hit them and basic dozers take half the mag to kill even right next to them. Edit: I was using the Valkyria rifle and it was doing better at killing dozers and enemies
I'm loving this build guide. I'm having an issue though that maybe someone can help me out with. I can't seem to fill the trees like you do. For example, with build one. On technician, I can ace Steady Grip, Surefire, then take a point in Lock n' Load, but it doesn't open up Body Expertise for me. It says I need to spend 2 points to unlock this. Is this a change in the game in the last few months or am I doing something wrong? The same thing happened in the other trees as well. Maybe cuz I'm only lv72 or something?
hey kev! I started using stoic, but i cant heal like you can. in fact, everytime i use it, i dont heal. i've done what most guides explain: start fighting (take damage) » use flask » take damage » go to cover » repeat, but i really cant heal. what is missing in here?
@@Echs_D33 about 30min after writting this comment, i realized that was what was missing. The Perl deck was 8/9 missing like 20 XP to be full build, i dunno why i didnt maxed it up xD
I'll have a video talking about Stoic tomorrow lol. You totally could use ICTV, but it limits mobility for objectives/cover and other skill points/potential DPS. Up to you tbh

@@KevKild yeah but...using vanilla hub interaction with voidUI makes the font of the game BIG, like really big and using voidUI can't replicate the same interaction but the font is normal...that's why I'm asking who did you did that And when I say font I mean the text for example "Press E to lockpick"
People mispronouncing words doesn't bother me much and is often pretty funny, so take or leave this info: the strange looking characters that appear in a dictionary is called the international phonetic alphabet. While learning to read it isn't for everyone, the ipa shows how words are pronounced. Stoic is "stoh-ick"--not "stoyk".
For your hacker build my concealment is at 32 and I’ve got all the same skills and I tried swapping some out for more concealment would that have something to do with my infamy?
I have a question about the skill tree. When I choose the perks in the video I am unable to get the last one because I have not spent enough skill points. How do I fix this?
