Hey Enio! This should've been the design philosophy since the heist was created, to be honest... It's especially painful when you're playing with 2 or more players, so you need to drill the storage rooms for the keycard every time you restart :(
@@AnanasIsAtYourDoorstep Haha no worries, you're good! I didn't see it like that at all, it was just a very honest and valid opinion regarding the way the heist is designed :p
@@Marcmb well usually how I and my friend play it, I get cams and clear the room with the 3 bikers in the meantime he clears the outside and then we clear the big room and we have the whole map for ourselves with no need to restarting while drilling or anything xD, and barley takes us 4-5 minutes to get everything done with day 1 (before crossing the border). but everyone has a different playstyle I guess.
@@iCZR_ Hey Cesar! That's definitely the reliable strategy for DAY1, nothing wrong with it! However, what Enio was mentioning about the single-day format being a pain, is that you have to repeat the drilling sequence every time you fail "DAY2", which gets a bit repetitive :p
Wow, you actually just made border crossing seem so much easier to me. Now I know there's only, like, 8 pager guards, but when I was playing before I was sitting there thinking it was like 17. Amazing vid!
Hey Martin! It really is much easier than it looks! :D With this strategy, the looting part is absurdly easy, and then the only part where you have to pay attention is setting up the hose, which is also very easy if you know how many guards are out there (especially ignoring the ones who spawned as statics, and the gangsters who only roam around the weapons). Glad you liked the video, thank you! :)
Yeah, me and the bois had 20+ tries and failed the second part every time for every dumb reason possible, mostly because they usually refused to kill the big warehouse guards :D
@@Soundwave1900 That happens a lot yeah, especially during crew play! Every player individually refuses to use pagers unless absolutely needed, but then something happens and the run fails instantly. It's generally better to use a few pagers from the beginning, to make future mistakes less likely to happen!
The first time I played this heist it was me and 2 friends, it took us a full day to complete it and the run lasted a full hour! Thank god new players have this guide now
Hey Niicko! I can relate to that yeah! Back when I was a new player, the first time I tried to stealth a heist it would take forever :p It's a very entertaining gameplay loop even if you're failing though! :D
@@Shiftry87 It's a very long heist, for sure! Definitely more than 30-35 minutes every single time. Sometimes I ask myself if it's worth making that final long trip for the 2 weapon cases, considering they don't seem to reward any additional experience, and they require around 3-4 minutes for such a small value, that you would be better off just escaping and playing another heist...
Very true! They cover a lot of the big area, but if you need some space for things like the hose objective, they'll give you some room if you wait for a bit :D
The only reason it sucks is "2" day. I can imagine the Overkill pondering this. No, I'm not saying this is a heist that sucks, the idea that you go to day 2 of the heist without a loading screen. This is great, but the implementation is not great.
Hey Greefoon! I agree completely, the heist would be more enjoyable if it was just split into 2 different days, like Election Day. Do you think the OVERKILL devs have the tools to easily cut the heist in two, and re-implement it as a 2-day heist, with just a few minutes of work?
Hey Marc I think for this they will need to completely redo the mission. And if you know that the game engine is not very welcoming. Then they have to either do it all over again, or nothing.
@@Greefoon Aww that's a shame then :( Guess there's no hope for this aspect of the heist being fixed then, but at least it will be a valuable experience in the future, with all the feedback they're getting regarding this!
@@juanzambrano1760 Personally I'm fine with the recycling of the assets for this heist, I think the end result was unique enough! Although original, new assets, and especially big heists, are always more appreciated, of course :)
i was never really good nor interested in stealth, but then i played PD:TH have to say, these guides are becoming something more than just something i watch
Haven't played this heist yet, but I gotta say I love these videos. Super detailed, informative and up to date. A guide couldn't be any better. Keep up the great work :D
Thanks a lot Floo! Glad you're enjoying the content, and thank you for the very kind words! :) If you decide to play the heist in the future, hopefully the video will be helpful!
Hahaah, I didn't think about it like this, but no matter how you look at PAYDAY 2 logic, it always ends up being weird... I guess these guards have something personal against sports bags :p
you're amazing man, i just love that you make an explanation on everything and not skipping anything. these videos really helped me a lot. thank you for everything and keep up the good work!
Hey c0le! I definitely like making videos of this style (explaining every single thing in detail), so I'm glad that they are being helpful! Thank you for watching, and I'll do my best to keep it up! :)
Going to feel counterintuitive to just leave loot bags lying around in plain sight but it's certainly going to both make this heist easier and make the gangsters look very stupid. I'm loving this, thank you for making life easier with one more tricky heist. Also, a note to any people who like to use trip mines to mark guards: don't plant any on the hangar door containing the plane. Me and my crew found out the hard way they explode upon the door opening, making for a spectacular sea of red ! signs and a fairly embarrassing way to trigger the alarm...
Hey there Tazane!! It does feel a bit counterintuitive, being so different from what you would do on any other heist. It's very cool though, because it's a very simple trick that makes the heist so much faster. Glad the video helped with something! :) As for the trip mine tip, that is very important to keep in mind, for sure! It will happen on all heists, whenever you place a trip mine on a moving surface (e.g., doors, windows, elevators, plant pots, glass...): they will explode as soon as their support disappears :p If I ever have a chance to mention it on a general video, I'll make sure to point it out -- so thank you for the very nice idea!
Thanks a bunch dude! This is the only stealth heist that I haven't completed on DS:OD. I could never do the "second day". I'll try it out tomorrow and see if I do it!
You're welcome Mateo! As you can see from the video, following this strategy it's quite easy (small warehouse with no pagers, completely clear big warehouse). Especially if going only for mission loot, the heist becomes quite easy and not too long! Good luck with your run! :)
Hey PersonPlays! That is quite unfortunate yeah :( Most of the heists that I cover are available for both PC and console, but this is one of the newer heists, so it's only available for PC... Hope you were able to enjoy the video regardless, and thank you for watching and commenting!
@@ghosty1058 Indeed, Breakin' Feds is one of the most fun stealth heists, and White House is really cool too... hopefully they'll come back as classics for PAYDAY3 (new engine, so it'll be easier), so that console players will be able to enjoy them!
@@ghosty1058 Hopefully yeah! Only time will tell. But considering that their current engine is awful for console ports, and their new one (UE4) is almost automatic, I assume PC and console will have essentially simultaneous content releases for PAYDAY3.
Every yer video saves my time when im doing heist like border crossing that need tons of hours understand. I did in normal way border crossing loosing like 70mins. On border crossing you should make your life easier and just use the carrystacker. Do more guides m8 you make this game a lot easier. Your guides about payday 2 are the best keep 'em comin'!
Thank you Poland! Glad that you're enjoying the content, and that it's being helpful. I'll do my best to keep it up! :) Personally, I have played the game for so long that I really enjoy bag moving in the vanilla way. However, there's a variation of Carry Stacker that makes you slower when carrying multiple bags (as if carrying artifacts), and that sounds quite interesting too!
Thank you Diego! Good to see that there are heisters out there who enjoy this heist :) I really like doing it solo when I feel like stealthing a long heist, or ECM rushing it with a full crew!
I actually like this heist a lot, playing a partner makes it feel like we actually have to cooperate to make looting faster. We make it a point to kill as many gangsters on the map as possible every time so there's a lot of "on the count of 3, you take the guy on left and I take the guy on the right, bag them both quickly", and having someone to help you control the right warehouse faster feels great. Doing it all alone feels like a slog.
Glad you like it, Dan! That's definitely an unpopular opinion :) I also enjoy it quite a lot, and you're right that it has many elements that work really well for duo approaches! It's such a shame that extra loot doesn't reward experience, that definitely seems like an oversight...
I bought the DLC a few months back and now I'm coming around to completing all the heists for the death wish mask. These guides are such a blessing so thanks for making them. Also don't understand why it couldn't be a 2 day heist since Big Oil exists but it's fine I guess.
Thanks to you, I've completed all the stealth heist in this game(except for recent 2 because I didn't bought it yet) and also 1000 milestone for a bonus. Thank you. I really appreciate your help : ) and please, keep going!
Awesome!! Congratulations on the milestone, Jang, and thank you for continuing to enjoy the content! I'm glad that my videos are helping, and hopefully you'll continue enjoying the new videos. I'll do my best to keep going until I run out of good ideas! :D
Awesome! Congratulations on a job well done! :D It's quite a long heist, so it's a bit frustrating if you fail at the very end :p Glad that the guide helped, Zapato! :)
Thank you for making the video for this heist. As mentioned in my previous comments on Border Crossing, my concern was US part gangsters shoot me on sight and Mexico part which guard best be taken out(I've got an idea of approach after countless times of trial and fail), I follow almost all the the tips in your video except I'd open the hanger gate asap to do the fuel objective as I ran around moving bags. I tried it on DSOD again yesterday, and it went smoothly. But it took me a while(50 min?) to move that crazy amount of bags(I couldn't help myself but secured all loot, also my objective was to secure 12 weapons which is the heavy loot out of possible loot objective), and I still risked of gangsters fire at me on US part. In that workshop where some gangsters were busying with their motors, I couldn't have my damage high enough to one hit kill them after they become alerted, as a result, it's easy to have one of them start shooting. The damage bonus was also not enough for my saw to one click open the doors, maybe the quick-saw stealth build was in your video on stealth builds? I'll check later on. For the Mexico warehouse part, I tend to kill the stationary pagerless guards when I need to move around often and it's safe to taken them out, the same applies to the moving ones, especially if all loot is needed, the area between the two buildings(have weapon cases there) need to be clear of them for easier bagging. The only trick is to find when to taken them. Countinue above, my first Border Xing DSOD attempt was almost there, but later I found out there are many gasoline(not the mission one) lying around the map, if you shoot them, they explode and alert the whole map. I was unfortunate when taking out one of the guard outside, the pellets hit the gas nearby and it started to burst flames, I was thinking, there are gasonline lying around? Thank god it only take a small damage and didn't explode. And then it exploded after a short period LOL
Hey Linzhi! Hope you enjoyed my take on a Border Crossing guide :) Good to know that you agree with most of the tips! Personally I only open the hangar early if I'm ECM rushing the whole heist, otherwise I prefer leaving it closed to lower the chance that guards will enter the hangar... but if you don't mind that, then starting as soon as you get a chance to safely lay down the hose is a great approach too! 50 mins for a full loot run sounds very reasonable for this heist yeah... it's a very long looting simulator that takes at least 30-35 minutes every single time with the ~40 loot bags, even more if the requested loot is weapons. The gangsters (both US part and Mexico part) will shoot on sight as you say, so it's very important to not let them spot you (instead, let them become alerted by spotting other corpses, which gives you more time to shoot). If you don't have enough damage for a headshot kill, that may be due to weapon choice, or build. My build for the saw breakpoints (and as a result, shotgun damage too) is explained in that saw video, but you can also see the exact point distribution in this video here, at 31:39. The stationary pagerless guards usually aren't a problem for me: they never move, they barely see anything, and as long as you're crouching while moving loot next to them (as I show in different clips) they will never spot you. However, I do have body bags to spare (as I show at different points in the video), so there are situations where I do kill them, especially if it's required to kill other stationary gangsters while avoiding a chain reaction. Also I agree completely with your point about the 2 weapon cases! As I mention at 29:52, it helps to kill at least one of the two gangsters to grab the weapons safely! There are a few explosive barrels laying around yeah... I have had so many runs fail because of that, but it's always awesome when it happens, and you get to see the crew reaction in the ingame chat :D
Really beginning to think you may just have the most detailed stealth guides I've seen on RU-vid (although I personally prefer loud for the gunplay). Unfortunately, however, Border Crossing has to be my least favorite heist after recent events. That recent event being Hurricane Laura (or Tropical Storm Laura? Not sure). While I'm not sure the exact location, the BC heist clearly takes place in a desert location close to the border. A potential location could be Texas, where one of my friends lived, yet ever since the Hurricane/Storm went through, I've heard very little from them, which gives me an immense amount of personal hatred to this heist. Aside from that, some good news. Somehow my terrible skill in Stealth + my computer that makes a potato's processing power look powerful, I managed to reach the Server Room of the Yacht Heist with 2 Pagers left where I just about screamed in joy over putting that nightmare behind me.
Hey Alex! Thanks for the compliment, I definitely try to include as many useful details as possible! :D This story about your friend is very unfortunate, sorry to hear that! Hopefully they're okay, and the situation will go back to normal shortly! On the bright side, glad to hear that you finally managed to reach the final room with 2 pagers. At that point, it's a free win! Congratulations on your well-earned victory, and well done :p
@@Marcmb You've earned it! :D Hopefully everything is fine. We chatted a bit after the hurricane/storm had passed but now sitting in a point of no-contact. But, I know many people are still without electricity due to the hurricane/storm so it's possible that's all that is going on. And yeah - definitely a free win by that point. There was another run I had prior to it where I reached down there with 1 pager, so I thought "Okay, lure one if the guards close to where the AI are hiding (via arrest luring) and take care of him there since I'm out of body bags" - that was the run I discovered that it seemed the guards won't walk to that area where the AI is. He started walking towards me before then going to the middle of the server room and sounding the alarm. I, like an idiot, tried to place a panic ECM and forgot my current deplorable was trip mines (with Jack of All Trades) :/
@@SekiYuriDEV Thank you! And yeah, that's what I would expect from your friend's situation! That seems like a very likely explanation, so hopefully it will be fixed within a reasonable time! And that situation you're describing sounds like such a smart plan! Shame that it failed! There are indeed some invisible walls in very unexpected spots, causing that kind of reaction from the guards... very unfortunate! The worst part is placing a trip mine rather than an ECM haha! Luckily that's one mistake that happens once, but teaches you to, from that point on, check your current deployable every single time you want to place an ECM!
@@Marcmb Well the main problem with the ECM - trip mine thing is the input lag. Even if I had realized trio mines were equipped, I'd have to tap LB (Xbox controller) like 4 times to get it to switch. Hopefully I'll just upgrade/replace my computer soon. Work be so nice to truly experience Payday at 60+ FPS.
@@SekiYuriDEV Aah nothing that can be done about that, then :p Input lag due to bad performance is a pain, especially because if you spam the same input too much, it probably cancels itself by switching twice! Good luck with your upgrade, that would be nice!
Might be important to note that as of some updates ago, the pager guards now spot your lootbags (think it was when they introduced the xp rewards for loot? would need to double check)
Hmmm very interesting! I haven't played the heist in a while (especially since I was in Canada for the last 2 months), but I'm gonna have to check this out. I'll have some time to play this weekend, so if this is indeed true, I'll come back here and pin your comment, so that everyone knows about this!
@@Marcmb Ok, so this has to be actual irony, but literally 4 hours ago, Update 227 was released and: "Border Crossing - Fixed an issue that allowed certain enemy units to detect loot bags and call the police when they were not set to do so." So apparently, it was there, and was unintended behaviour.
The guards not reacting to loot bags is going to be invaluable information for whenever I get around to trying this. Just about every other heist has done a fantastic job at drilling "Guards react to seeing loot bags so be very careful about where you place them!" into my head.
Indeed, HeVi, that's one of the best tips for Border Crossing! The heist involves a lot of bag moving, so if you try to do it slowly and sneakily (like you would in any other heist) it's gonna take forever. Definitely take advantage of this! :)
Thank you so much man, your videos have helped me alot. The saw video helped me do election day fast for that XP bonus and the stealth counterfeit helped getting a bunch of level. Keep up the great work
Thanks a lot Geese-Are-Deadly! Glad you're enjoying the content, and that it's being helpful! I see that you're learning fast: Election Day is the best heist for that stealth bonus, and Counterfeit is a great and interesting way to farm experience! I'll do my best to keep it up :) Thank you very much for watching!
Love watching your videos not only because they are perfectly structured but also because there are always some useful little things even if I thought that I mastered said heist. Like in this one I didn't know that guards can't spot loot bags. As for the heist I feel like it's a "baby" of Oil job and shadow raid that use Election day assets) Also I have one guess about guards on "day 2". Probably if a plane spawned in hungar against Santanico, I think guards won't be patroling inside hungars until planes gates open. The idea is - guards don't have waypoints in plane hungar until gates open, and also they don't have waypoints on the far side of truck parked against Culebras, so they won't be passing through hungar against Culebras. But I had this setup only once so didn't have an opportunity to verify this idea much. It's not something gamechanging but it always nice to have an extra guards free space and spend less brain resource on tracking guards. I'd love to have your guids on more classic heists like Go Bank and Big Bank. I'm sure many people done them already, but they are quite tricky and I always disliked them for rng factor. So if you have some good tips to share about them, would be pretty good) Thank you for you work. mate
Thanks Dmitrii! Very kind comment, and much appreciated! Whenever I cover a heist in one of these videos, I try to explain everything in detail so that even those who are experienced can learn something new, even if very small. So I'm glad you learnt one new thing from this one! The heist does indeed feel very similar to Big Oil (day 1 clubhouse, gangster enemies...) and Shadow Raid (stealth looting simulator), with some assets very similar to those from Election Day and Biker Heist. But I would say that's fine, the heist is entertaining in its own way, good to play every now and then :p Also, I like the sound of that theory, it would be very nice if we could find some situations where it's guaranteed that they can't walk through the hangar (assuming all 4 doors open, which is the usual situation). I'll keep an eye out whenever the plane spawns next to Santanico, to fully verify this. It would make sense if they were less likely to path through the hangar on the Culebras side (because it's less connected to their pathing region), but even though it may be less likely, it's definitely possible: I've seen even gangsters (who also roam around, similar to pager guards) pathing through the Culebras hangar, when the plane is in that same hangar. Finally, both GO Bank and Big Bank are already on my list, but thanks for the suggestion! The former is very quick (and a favorite of mine), but I'm hesitant to record it because console players don't have it, and it always feels bad when uploading content that's not accessible to everyone. Glad you're enjoying the content, and I'll do my best to keep it up!
Hey Allan! This one is indeed not the best heist out there, but it's decent if you're in the mood for a long stealth looting simulator. Kinda like Shadow Raid, but different setting and gameplay. If I had to choose, I definitely recommend San Martín Bank rather than this one, but if you do play this one in the future, hopefully the video will be helpful!
Hey TheBof! I'm glad that's the case then :p Many others suggested it in the comments section, so I definitely had to do this one next! Good to know the video will be useful to you :) Good luck with your heists!
Hey there, We will drive them From our lands! I'm glad you're enjoying the content, and looking forward to more! I appreciate that a lot, thank you! :) As for your question, Shadow Raid in the future, for sure! I want to make both a full stealth guide, and a full ECM rush run with all loot. Both are very entertaining playstyles, so I want to cover both eventually! Not sure when they are gonna be recorded though, because I'm currently prioritizing Framing Frame!
@@Marcmb Cant wait for that framing frame, that ones been messing with me a lot, day 1, not even day 3, which is the reverse for most people lol. Also, which mod are you using for the circle health above the enemies? I missed that from hoxhud, had to move to wolfhud which afaik lacks that option.
@@kyle2455 Haha I see, most players definitely struggle more with day 3 :p I'll make sure to include detailed tips for all days! As for the enemy health circles, that's displayed by my HUD mod, _PocoHud3._ If you would like some download links and install instructions, you can find that here! steamcommunity.com/groups/MarcmbCrimeNET/discussions/0/2279330983559406525/
@@Marcmb Does pocohud3 show loot counters similar to wolf hud? That is probably the only thing holding me back from making the full switch. Yea my biggest issue right now, is more practice than anything else, getting the paintings on the roof itself through those openings on the ceiling. Does not help im a completionist, i need all the paintings i can take. Plus RNG messes with me, ill kill 4 guards, the 5th one will bugger off somewhere at some point, and ill stash the last body in the security room, so 3 roamers, all 3 of those roamers decide to camp out right outside the security room. Never win.
@@kyle2455 Hey Kyle! Unfortunately, PocoHud3 does not have any kind of counter for loot, or enemies... In the past, those indicators were considered "cheating" by a large part of the community, and so many of us decided to stay with a HUD that didn't have any loot/enemy counters. You can look around for some other HUDs that may include those elements, in PAYDAY 2's modworkshop! modworkshop.net/game/payday-2 As for your Framing Frame situation, practice definitely helps a lot :p Those ceiling throws can be a lot more reliable after some practice! And when you're faster with that, it's easier to go for all loot without spending as much time in risky situations, so overall it's easier to escape with the 9 paintings!
Thank you for your in depth guide videos. One thing I like to do on this heist is to wallbang camera guy in the first half of the heist with sniper or 5/7 pistol, not necessary of course but you can start killing bikers right away.
You're absolutely welcome, Mr.Smoke! Glad to hear these guides are being useful, and you're enjoying them :) Someone once taught me a couple trick shots to reliably get the camera guy on both possible rooms, before even entering (or barely approaching) the biker club house... those were some amazing shots, although I never managed to pull it off as well as he did! :D
The guards only start patrolling the empty hangar when you've opened both doors, can be useful to leave one of the doors closed until you've moved all the loot from the small warehouse to the hangar so that you don't have to wait around when a guard randomly decides to walk into the hangar. On my first time doing it I sat around for about 10-15 extra minutes just waiting for the guards to leave the hangar.
That's correct, TomphaA! However, when you reach the hangar area, you're either on the left or the right side, and the first hangar you open isn't always the one with the plane, so you need to get to the second one. Considering that guard traffic around the alleyway area is quite common, it's generally safer to just open all the hangar doors, and move through there carefully rather than having to walk out in the open every time you want to move from one side to the other. The chance for guards to be walking inside the hangar is lower than the chance for them to just patrol outside, but still it's all RNG so it can indeed lead to situations where you're waiting for a while. I definitely prefer the safe approach without risks though!
@@Marcmb I agree. I would generally always open all the doors unless I get lucky with the plane being in the hangar furthest away from the small warehouse and the guards/gangsters outside as I make it to the alley between the hangars. I'll just quickly check if I can make it to the other side safely without opening the door in the alley. During my few hours on the map I never actually saw a guard enter the hangar with the plane in it even though I kept both of the doors open to that hangar, but it might just be that they didn't feel like walking in there during my playtime :D. As much as people dislike the map I really get Shadow Raid vibes from it, and it is one of my favourites to stealth for sure.
@@tomphaa Very reasonable! It's definitely situational, so it's something good to keep in mind if you have the chance, depending on RNG. I'm sure I've seen guards enter either hangar (and gangsters too), but sadly at the moment I can't recall for sure whether it was the hangar with the plane or not. Good heist for sure! It would be nice if it awarded XP for bonus bags, like Shadow Raid does. Probably something that the devs will fix in the future!
You never fail to impress I’m slowly falling in love with this channel as a massive payday 2 fan your videos really help with the little tips and tricks keep it up! 😂
@@xxcrystalmidnightxoxo5785 I have 14 different stealth profiles, so it's a bit tricky to explain :p My general stealth build is explained here (along with some variations of it): ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-s0lSjtcZXO8.html As for my build for this specific heist -- I don't usually do it, but for this heist I inluded a section with my loadout (weapons + skills) at the very end of the video! :)
Thanks a lot Слава Голубев , I'm glad you're enjoying the content! Good job on stealthing those, and no worries: I still have many plans to keep going! Hopefully the future videos will be nice too :p
Border crossing is prob my least favorite stealth in the game, garbage layout, to many guards, civis that have no need to be there, rng elements that can make it so it lasts 10 or 70 mins, overall I just very much dislike this heist, at least when I do it now after seeing this, it’ll make it a bit better
Hey Blonde! I think the number of guards is fine, but it's true that it would be nice if 1 or 2 of the guards patrolling outside could be removed, to avoid situations where you're just waiting for them to move away from the hose. However, as you know, I still believe that the right way to play this heist is by ECM rushing the whole thing in 8 minutes, with a full crew! :D
Overall the problem with border crossing imo is that it tries too hard to be what shadow raid is, but fails in almost all aspects - too much forced loot, so many guards, tons of cages to drill, 2 "days", one of which is just 2 minutes of time waste... And let's not even mention the fueling sequence! That being said tho, after spending hours and hours of failing it on release, it kinda grew on me and now I can enjoyably sit through the 40-60 minutes of doing a full loot run and have a great time just as I do on shadow raid.
@@miweneia Hey Victor! I added your tip about the knife to the video, thanks for helping make the guide better! :) I agree with your general message that Shadow Raid is a better alternative if you're looking for a stealth looting simulator... however, much like yourself, I've also come to like this one, and now I play Border Crossing every now and then when I'm in the mood for a long stealth looting simulator (and Shadow Raid sometimes too). It could certainly be improved, but it's still a good one!
Killing the 4 pager guards in the big warehouse is prefered. But a word of warning if u get money as the loot u need to collect, that 1 guard in the other warhouse is a gigantic pain becouse with money there is a low chans that u are forced to open all 3 cages in that area, and without using a keycard or if u dident bring a saw that middle cage is impossable to drill open without that guard noticing it. So i recommend that if u get money check if there is money in the middle cage. If there is then kill that guard and leave 1 of the 2 guards on the bottom floor alive in the big warehouse. I have seen 1 of them get stuck a few times so u may not even need to keep track of him atall. I did not know that the guards/gangsters outside on "day 2" dident noticed loot. That will cut down the time for this heist ALOT the next time.
Hey Shiftry! This is exactly right. For that reason, I definitely recommend soloing this one with a saw, because it makes the whole process more reliable. It's true that very often one of those 2 pager guards will become static after a while, but I haven't been able to find out the reason (unlike in Shadow Raid, the cause is not very clear for this heist), so I generally kill all 4 to make it more reproducible regardless of RNG. And moving the loot is indeed much faster if you just go for the shortest path rather than sneaking around! Have fun with that, it's so much more convenient :)
In addition to high value target aced, I also have basic rifleman. Rather than disagreeing with the game about specifically which guard I'm pointing at, I can just aim down my sights to auto-mark them, without really slowing down
Hey wessltov! Rifleman is also very cool, yeah! I had never tried it, but a few months ago one of my viewers suggested it, and I especially like the faster snap to zoom! It's a shame that the range for HVT marking is slightly shorter than the regular marking distance :( Luckily it's only noticeable for guards that are very far, but it feels very inconsistent whenever you're at the right distance for it to happen!
I originally started looking into HVT because in multiplayer, whenever I wanted to mark an approaching guard to a teammate, it tended to either mark a camera or another guard. Then, because of how ineffective it was in pressing situations (because the slowness was too great a risk), I exchanged transporter for it
@@wessltov That's a very good reasoning! The guard marking is indeed a bit wonky, and even with a lot of practice you still get situations where you mark something unintended. However, most stealth builds have enough points for HVT and Transporter, because both are very good, so in my opinion it would be very good to consider removing some less useful skills to include Transporter again!
Hahahaha you're absolutely right! It takes me forever to get up in there, but I still wanted to show that as an optional path, even though I'm really bad at it :p
Hey FaDon! This one is very good when you feel like doing a long "looting simulator" heist: loot everywhere, and the map is quite big, so it keeps you busy for a while :)
Hey Supa brodda! That will happen if the warehouse has two doors open, yes. Luckily, the warehouse can only spawn with _one_ door open at the start, so as long as you don't open any doors (or if you only open the balcony door on the 2nd floor), then that won't happen!
The only reason i hate this heist so much is the "1.5 days" in this thing, i have to literally repeat "day 1" every single time i fail stealth in "day 2" its honestly annoying, i would just pick up my stoic build and send everyone there to hell and go loud.
One of the worst aspects of this heist for many yup. I think they made it like this because otherwise it would be too easy to fully rush DAY1 (it's so short...) and then switch to loud on DAY2, although I'm not fully sure.
Hey Alucard, you're welcome! :) It can be a bit hard to practice when you don't own the DLC, so just as you say, now you will be able to carry those public heists! Hopefully the guide will be useful to you :)
Old video at this point, and I'm not sure if this was the case when this video was uploaded, but 4:43 is slightly misleading; a pager guard will walk through the hangar with the cages (albeit rarely) IF both of the hangar's metal doors are open. My usual strategy is to only open one of the cage hangar's doors to set up drills while I do something else. Also, I've never seen them enter the hangar from in between the hangars, only from the side of the hangar opposite the plane. I hope I've explained that well enough.
Hey NoOasis! I can see what you mean yeah, with that sentence being misleading by itself. The thing is that I have to try to space out the text throughout the video (so that the reading isn't too heavy) so you have to consider also the sentence that comes shortly after, when I explain the small warehouse at 6:00. Basically for ANY building with two points of entry, there's a chance of guards pathing through it: and this condition is fulfilled as soon as you open both doors on the hangars!
@@Marcmb I totally understand, I just wanted to make sure people knew that the hangar specifically isn't a 100% safe spot, as I once thought it was; it took me by surprise the first time I got spotted in there assuming it was safe and having a guard be in there lol
@@NoOasis For sure yeah! If I ever make an updated guide (hopefully with voice-over rather than just text on screen) I'll definitely be a lot more clear on that! Especially with the part about only opening the door if you plan to use drills, which effectively solves that issue!
Tbf, putting this heist as 1 day is technically realistic, because if you do this heist in loud in day 1, then the other side of the border would've get a "call" (or something) so that they are prepared for when the payday gang arrived on that part of the border. Still the way overkill executed it is poor.
Ooooh that is a VERY good point... I literally play only stealth, so I never even thought about the consequences this could have for heisters going for the loud approach. This makes a lot of sense, and it may have been the reason behind this design choice! Thinking more about it, they could've done something similar to the Framing Frame DAY2 mechanics, where the chance for an ambush after the trade is significantly increased if you play DAY1 loud (or if the assault has been going on for a certain amount of time before you escape), but that was probably much trickier to script, considering it requires some kind of custom events!
Hey Vincent! I've ECM rushed day 1 in the past, breaking windows and alerting everyone, and the gangsters still despawn after crossing the border. I'll do a couple tests when I have time, but the reason justifying your situation may be: (A) Maybe ECM runs out during the transition (black screen), and one of the calls goes through. In this case, it will be loud when you start day 2. (B) The ECM feedback has a range of 100m, and the map is designed in a way that the Mexico part is physically below the US part. So the feedback effect may be reaching the US part, causing those guards to become alerted too -- and those certainly don't despawn during the transition :p
Another strat for day 1 with less corpses: Once you enter, go left and check the factory and founding codes. Then run to the key spawn through the main bar area, no one will see you. Then go back across and upstairs. Edited so it's less obvious I wrote this at 1 am lmao.
Hey Trasen! I personally prefer not checking the codes ahead of time until I know which one it is, but this does indeed sound quite fast and efficient. By "key card spawn", did you mean the spawn for the keys for the red door? I'll definitely be checking it out, and seeing which one works best for me, and how many kills each path needs! :D
@@Marcmb yes, I meant the key to the red door. That's what I get for commenting at 1 am. I found it more efficient because I kept having to restart or use a bunch of recourses to keep killing people.
@@trasen5626 I see I see! I assumed that's what you meant :) I'll definitely be checking it out then, and compare which one can be reliably faster, or require fewer kills. Thanks for the suggestion!
Hey Cammy! It's quite a fun heist, especially if you like solo stealthing. If you're buying a new one for Christmas however, I think San Martín is more fun (personal opinion) :p
@@CJ10_SC No problem! I do have to say though, that it's definitely a matter of personal preference, so make sure to check both and pick the one that YOU like more! :p
Hey Jun! Shadow Raid is already in my list of projects (although not sure when it'll be recorded, because for now I'm prioritizing Framing Frame because it has been requested a lot). However, I didn't think about including the "Bushido" trophy, which is also very interesting! Thanks a lot for the nice suggestion, I'm adding this to my list!
@@Marcmb When you at it, could you consider adding more difficult trophy/achievement/weapon mod unlocking on that list? I still cannot finish the shadow raid trophy yet, and there is no doubt there is more trophy/achievement like that are out there. And maybe explain the game mod you are using too?
@@jeffhu8366 For sure! I'll look through the trophies (I think I have all of them except Robbedacop), and see if there are some which are worth considering for a video. Thanks for the suggestion! And the video explaining my mods is already in the works! Hopefully it will be a nice video :)
I just spent 1 hour and 50 trying this heist, it was my 3rd try and I secured all the loot possible, got caught when I was trying to find the 2nd gasoline and died :')
Aww that's a shame Mek! Indeed, the heist is very unforgiving whenever it goes loud (pretty much impossible to salvage). I would recommend keeping track of the gasolines while you're looting the place, because generally you will at least see a couple while you're getting the loot! Should make that final step easier...
Exactly! Taking all the loot makes it more fun, and more exciting. Sadly there's no bonus XP for the extra loot, which was an awful decision from the devs :(
Almost lost my sanity today trying to finish this. The fact that guards shoot you instantly and overkill condensing two days into one is really annoying.
Great video! i'm gonna try this heist later, but like everyone else i'll just go for achievements, Overkill fucked up a heist with so much potential, kinda sad
Hey Versiani! The heist could indeed have been a bit better... personally, I like playing it every now and then, when I feel like playing a longer stealth heist. However, my favorite way to play this heist is ECM rushing the whole thing in 8 minutes with all loot :) Very entertaining and exciting long rush!
Hey Clay! The minimum Detection Rating you can get with the saw is 10. For more details, check out my "Ultimate Saw Guide" in the video description! Hope that helps :)
Hey TheVideogamer! It's a very different experience, so I would recommend stealthing both :p This one is very good to stealth for money, while Counterfeit is very good to stealth for XP! Also, if you're interesting in money farming, here's a strategy for ECM rushing this entire heist (all loot) in 8 minutes! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vqkiOpxXn1c.html
@@TheVideogamer1004 Hey again TheVideogamer! I definitely have plans to make a similar one for Scarface Mansion, yes! However, I'll start with Framing Frame because it has been requested a lot lately... so Scarface in the future for sure, but the date hasn't been decided yet! Hopefully the videos before that will be good too!
One of the trickiest for sure, since it has so many areas you need to traverse. I think for new heisters, The White House might be a bit trickier though (with the close corners at the start and West Wing, and then the PEOC if you get the phone and you don't have any pagers left...).
you make great videos! sometimes I feel like I'm the only one who does stealth in this game lol. I often know almost everything about these heists but these videos are still very entertaining! also, do we know why there's a delay in-between interactions? it always seems to trip me up and has even failed a heist. I'd love if someone made a mod for it
Thank you dunt! Generally it feels like there are more loud lobbies yeah, it's weird... Glad you're enjoying the videos, even as an experienced heister, thank you! :D As for the delay between actions (1.2~1.5s every time after throwing a bag), it's an actual mechanic that the devs designed to be exactly like this, so I guess they wanted to reward heisters who plan their bag moving ahead of time, rather than standing in place throwing bags repeatedly; or perhaps to create incentives to avoid the rather repetitive loop of "look down, grab bag, look up, throw bag, repeat", which makes the gameplay feel less repetitive!
While attempting this (and failing a lot, lol - I'll get this eventually) I came across a phenomenon similar to guards becoming static in Shadow Raid. More specifically, during my many attempts I got a stuck guard in the bigger warehouse. I got a screenshot of where they stood twice, and those are the times I know it happened. Each time it saved me a pager on that particular attempt which allowed me to simply kill the one in the smaller warehouse to make the bag hauling even easier. Have you come across this? Do you think it's worth looking into, or perhaps too inconsistent to warrant further investigation? Edit: Finally pulled it off. What a rush.
Hey HeVi! I've also noticed one of those guards becoming static many times, but his final spot is very inconsistent. Either way, the actual spot is irrelevant -- because him becoming stuck is good enough to use a pager elsewhere, as you mention. I've confirmed that it's not due to closed/inaccessible rooms, because I've seen it happening with all doors open, so I have no idea what the trigger is. If we could find the actual trigger, then that would be an amazing tip which would be used very often... but even though I tried many different things, I couldn't find the trigger :( It's definitely 100% worth investigating though, if anyone has any ideas.
Kinda, yeah! But it's still a nice heist that feels different enough, so I'm thankful for it! :p (plus if you're ECM rushing, you can get a lot more money than Shadow Raid, which is very cool!)
Hey Andre, nice memory! Those are indeed two of the possible factory settings: 0000, or 1234. 1111 is also a combination that can appear. After a few runs you end up memorizing the different possibilities, even though it's not very useful because you still have to go read it every time due to the variations it has :p
@@Marcmb factory setting mean it's going to be a REALLY simple number code; which makes the fact they have people DUMB enough to require RESETTING the door lock to factory settings a really funny thing, even more considering said person HAD SOME RESPONSIBILITY taking care of things on the US side
@@andrehashimoto8056 Haha yeah, just PAYDAY 2 logic :p I appreciate the thoughts behind the code "puzzle", and it's very intuitive which is nice, but if you try to think about it logically, it makes no sense that someone would be that dumb! :D
Hey Ahmadkhadr! All shotguns will have the same "launching" distance, just make sure you're not using weird ammo types like AP, HE, Dragon's Breath... because they disable this launching effect. Other than that, the launching distance also depends on how far you are from your target, and the angle from where you're shooting.
Woah, really? That's so weird! That may indeed happen sometimes, because the heist has some very rare events (like the door being open at 0:35 in the video). However, I have never seen it! Do you by any chance have a screenshot of that, James? I'll keep an eye out myself and take a screenshot if I ever see it, like I did for the open door!
@@jamesreynolds3167 Aww that's unfortunate! I always like taking screenshots of these rare events :D I'll keep an eye out, and take a screenshot if I ever see it! It would make the guide a bit more complete, which would be very nice :) Thank you for the heads-up!
Definitely like Shadow Raid yeah! A looting simulator, with many, many bags. Unfortunately the bags don't even give bonus XP, so there's not much of a reason to loot everything... It also has some inspiration from Big Oil (clear out a full house without worrying about pagers), Election Day, Biker Heist...
Do all 12 bags of each loot not spawn each time? If they did, you would have 44 bags (12 coke, 12 money, 12 weapons, 4 meth, and 4 armor) but you only had 40
Hey illegalwaffles! That's a very good question! I didn't think about mentioning it in the video, BUT it's not actually 12 of each. It's AT LEAST 12 for the mission loot (sometimes more), 4 meth, 4 armor, and the other 2 loot types generally have less than 12 (for example, in this case for example, I think the number of weapon crates was just 9, while it's guaranteed to be 12+ if that's the loot type that Locke requests).
Very interesting question! The short answer is that his "rotation" once he landed on the floor was mostly random, so it was lucky that his head ended up hidden, and so I could decide to not bag him. However, there's a bit more that went into the decision: when killing enemies from the back, if you aim for the legs, they fall over backwards (which would've exposed his head), and if you aim for the torso, they fall over forward (landing on their face). Ideally I would've wanted to aim up for this reason, but there was a window right behind him (and I was using a shotgun) so I aimed as high as I could, to avoid shooting him on the legs :)
Hey Therealmanguyman! It's still the same amount, 4 pager guards so you can reliably full clear, and then there's 2 or 3 gangsters (plus the gangster at cams).
Do you think i will be able to pass day one on my first attempt after getting the M4A1 and the powerful shotgun you use? because it looks OP, i just need continental points for suppresors, also when you will have free time to do a new video? I was waiting for something like Border Crossing Heist ECM Rush OD, or the suggestion for you, if your able to make the video with the idea i suggested you with the escape time, i need to know for the lack of activity
Hey there juan! First of all, sorry for the late response. I've been very busy these last few days, editing the video that came out today. As for the Border Crossing ECM rush, I did a video on that a few weeks ago, very profitable! You can check it out here :) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vqkiOpxXn1c.html
My issue with Payday 2 is that it has no respect for player time or investment. Due to the heavy RNG nature of the game (You can have 2 cameras spawn in the civvie room watching eachother. And if you got RNGd again and got 2 civvies, you can not make it up the stairs without being spotted), It feels like more often than not, 1 thing happens that's outside of my control or it's a minor mistake and a civvie ends up being off by a few pixels so they get spotted. Sure, if you have 6000 hours in PD2, I'm sure every mission is easy. But as someone that is right now just approaching 100 hours... I just feel like there's no respect for your time at all. There's no mid-mission checkpoints meaning that every time you fail, you have to spend another 15-50 minutes stealthing an op. And If I just wanted to kill hordes of enemies for hours, there's so, so many better games than Payday for that (Warframe/L4D/Vermintide, etc), and if you just want to haul loot in an intense shootout scenario... May I interest you in Deeprock Galactic? For everyone out there that wants to try and play this game solo stealth, I recommend you get the Blackjack mod on PC. It's the only way that the game starts feeling remotely balanced. Marcmb, how do you deal with the heavy RNG and time-wasting nature of Payday? Like what's your secret? I do not have the time in my average day, even during COVID, to spend 40 minutes restarting a heist because of garbage RNG camera placements, and then spend another 2 Hours restarting a heist whenever the slightest thing goes wrong? (Payday 2, by its design, really doesn't allow you any wiggle room with mistakes when playing stealth. Unless you're in a 4man squad where everyone is playing Hacker with maxed ECMs letting you stay ECMd for 7 minutes straight)
Hey Felony! These are some very good questions, thank you for the very nice comment! It is indeed a bit painful that the game does not have checkpoints/save-states, but at the same time it also makes it very satisfying when you finally pull it off! I also agree that, if you're looking for horde shooters, there are probably better options out there, but for stealth gameplay, this is in my opinion the best one :) My answer to your general question, about how to deal with the RNG aspects of the game, is that it's all about map knowledge: the situation you describe about 2 civilians and 2 cameras in that room is indeed a complete block that prevents you from going up the stairs to the second floor. However, if you buy the exterior ladder via preplanning, you never have to use that staircase, and you have a safe, direct route to the camera operator. What I mean by this is that, with enough knowledge, there's always enough way to plan your routes differently, and design strategies with the objective of having a very low failure chance, which is why I enjoy this game and its replayability (which is enhanced by these random elements) so much. An example would be my suggestion here of sneaking through the small building without using any pagers, to then be able to completely clear the big building (even then, some very random unfortunate events will still cause you to fail, but those are less likely, and you also get used to avoid taking those risks). So what I do with my time, rather than spending 60 minutes trying a heist, is I spend 40 minutes designing a strategy that will let me complete the heist for sure, and then spend 20 minutes in the heist itself, which is something that I really enjoy. Something else that I really enjoy, which you also mention, is finding a full crew of heisters interested in ECM rushing, and then rushing entire heists from start to finish: at that point, there's no RNG anymore, and it's all about coordination and speed. Really a very entertaining and interesting way to play the heist. Finally, one more thing I want to say, is that I had never heard of the Blackjack mod, but I just looked it up and it's very interesting! Way more balanced than Silent Assassin, while offering a similar way to control heists, which is an interesting gameplay style too! One more thing (this time the last one, for sure) -- if you have any other situations in mind where it seems like there's no option to salvage a situation, with a restart being the unavoidable end, let me know and I will gladly explain what my approach would be! :)
@@Marcmb Hey, thanks for the fast reply. I was making dinner so I didn't see; Have you ever played Warframe? Some missions are so satisfying to stealth in that game (by no means a pure stealth game though), and It has many mechanics that allow you to stealth even without a stealth build (or stealth frame) - As instead of enemies autofailing you if you kill more than 5, you're fine unless you or something you killed is spotted and the alarm is sounded. And the alarm is only sounded if an enemy runs up to a terminal and triggers the alarm. There's also movement puzzles where you have to avoid moving lasers, kill a certain few enemies, or figure out the correct hack sequence (hacking is a bit more intuiative in WF than PD2 ^^) Whilst I imagine Blackjack would be boring for you, I find it an interesting challenge; Isolate a guard and bap him over the back of the head. This allows you to effectively 'control' how many pagers you have to use via taking risks in other places. I might ask you more later for sure, but I'm not even Infamy 1 ^^ I've just started playing PD2 recently and I'm just now getting into DSOD Stealth runs - I'm aiming to complete all of the stealthable missions in DSOD before going Infamy 1 ^^ Oh, another thing If you don't mind; Why is it when I enable a mod that helps with my colourblindness (Red green, as most things that ARE colourcoded in PD2 is RGB, It can make some missions down to complete luck) It marks me as a cheater and I can't join public lobbies without getting kicked immediately?
@@JagEterCoola I did play Warframe a few years ago, but not for very long so I'm not familiar with most of those things. The idea of movement puzzles, and more moving lasers, definitely sounds great for PAYDAY though! Hopefully in future heists, or for PAYDAY 3 :) I would love to see that. Blackjack definitely sounds like a very different experience, but entertaining if it's balanced properly. I may try it in the future to check it out, if I have some time! Good luck with your journey to completing all stealth DSOD heists, and hopefully some of my guides will be useful with that! Lastly, regarding your question about the mods, the "CHEATER" filter doesn't actually scan through your mod list, it generally just checks your loadout (mask, weapons, mods...) and marks you as a CHEATER if you're using a mask, weapon, mod, or heist, that you don't own the DLC for. It's a very primitive system, and doesn't actually help finding cheaters. Make sure the mod isn't actually unlocking any masks or weapon mods to help with its function, since that may be the cause of the CHEATER tag!
@@Marcmb Aaaah, that's the issue then I think. It unlocked masks in order to change their colours and Its been hard to keep track of what I own and not :p Is it only items I don't have the DLC for that I have EQUIPPED or is it just in general if I have a mod that unlocks a DLC item then I'm auto-marked as a cheater?
@@JagEterCoola That's definitely it then! As far as I know, the tag is only there if you have the items *equipped.* Make sure to unequip them, restart your game, and see if the tag is gone! It should disappear as soon as it doesn't detect any "illegal" items!
I have no clue about the code, I found one in the bathroom but the hint I got was "Bleckert guarded the door again and has reset the system to factory settings" I have no clue how do I get the right code
Hey Ember Hydra! Rewatch the part at 2:52 -- depending on the hint, you have to look for the code at a specific location. All codes spawn every time you run the heist, but only one of them is the good one, which you choose based on the hint. That part of the video shows all hints, and their corresponding location :) If you have any further questions, don't hesitate to ask!
@@emberhydra That's lucky! There's a 25% chance to get it right if you try any of the codes that you see :p so it's definitely much better to learn what the hints mean!
This heist is not hard, it is annoying. Why make this a one day heist? To lengthen it? I mean the concept is similar to Big Oil/Election Day so why not just separated it into 2 days. Another good guide mate.
Hey blackTIE! Glad you liked this one, thank you! I agree completely, and it seems that many players think the same too! The heist would indeed be much more enjoyable if it was split in two days... just like Big Oil or Election Day: even if day 1 is short, there's not much of a reason to not split the heist in two.
@@Marcmb I mean Big Oil and Election Day day 1 is pretty short if you know what you are doing. Maybe they just really want to use that sick fade to black "somewhere in Mexico" transition.
@@blackT1E Yeah that transition was kinda cool, not gonna lie... when the crew is well coordinated and you complete the heist in one try, I think the heist is fine. The problem is when this is not the case -- I think the heist would improve a lot if they could implement a "checkpoint" system, but that sounds kinda complex (no day 2, but somehow keeping track of your used deployables so that you can't just recover them by failing the heist... very complex for sure).
Damn! Well, it is a long heist (especially with having to restart from DAY1) so it's reasonable to need about that much time. Hopefully you had fun during the process, or hopefully at least the video showed you something that would've made it a bit easier!
Aww sorry about that Hunter. I'll make some updated playthroughs starting all videos with the loadout. Back then, I always wanted my videos to get straight into the action...
Hey Vladas! From the main menu, you need to go to inventory and check the equipment on your bots -- you have to change one of their boosts to "Quick", which lowers your interaction time when playing without a full crew.
Hey claymore roomba! I play mainly stealth only (probably 99.9% of my playtime is in stealth), so I prefer focusing on stealth content to keep up the quality of the videos. However, I did learn quite a few things about loud while going for my DSOD mask. Thus, when I finish making all my stealth video ideas, I will definitely consider making some loud content, explaining everything I learnt and my tricks to get the DSOD mask. However, as I mentioned, I know a lot more about stealth than loud, so the loud videos are still very far away, to ensure that the videos are as good as they can be!
Hey MentalAren! Very good question, and my answer is going to be very simple :p I use the Locomotive 12G simply because of personal preference! It's understandable that many players use the Judge shotgun because it can reach slightly higher concealment values, but once you have some basic concealment mods on your weapons, you can reach the minimum detection rating of 3 with many weapon combinations. For this reason, since concealment isn't a concern for me anymore, I always use the Locomotive instead, because I prefer the way it looks! However, heists where your primary is a saw (like this one) are clearly the exception, since higher concealment would allow you to play with lower detection rating, but I still prefer playing with the Locomotive :p Also, back in the old days, the Judge didn't exist so I got used to the Locomotive being the stealth shotgun, and I never really liked how the Judge looks (the weapon is a bit too small for me, so I prefer the Locomotive much more!), so I never made the change :)
Oh hey zukii! I'm now replying to "older" comments (after catching up with the comments on the newly released video), and I see that you had asked the same question here. I'll copy my response from the other video, just in case :p _That's a feature from my HUD mod (PocoHud3), which allows me to press my right mouse button to set the current interaction to continue even if I let go of my F key. Hey Z0nK89! I don't usually do this for my videos, but for this one I decided to include a brief section at the end showing my weapons and mods. You can check it out at 31:39 !
@@Z0nK89 No worries! It was at the very end of the video, so it makes sense to ask before getting there, when you ask yourself the question while watching the video :) If you have any questions about my choice of weapon and mods, feel free to ask!

@@Z0nK89 Hey Z0nK! The heist is indeed much much easier with those tips in mind, I'm glad that it's being helpful! As for your question about the saw: as you mention, it's not needed for the big warehouse, it's only to make looting the small warehouse 100% reliable without wasting a pager. Drills (with skills) require 42 seconds to open each of the gates, so if you wait until the guard paths away from one (optimal time to start) before drilling, you're still hoping you'll get lucky and he won't decide to come back right after, at which point he would spot the drill and you would waste a pager there, thus being unable to complete clear the big warehouse. If you get lucky (as you saw in your 2 runs), you can indeed drill all 3, but it's always random. For this reason, I don't mind playing with a small concealment penalty (saw) in exchange for having a strategy that's 100% reliable, without relying on RNG! Glad that the videos are helping, and that you're enjoying the content! :)
Hey Hello Mister! That's a combination of _PocoHud3_ and _Additional PocoHud trackers._ The former is responsible for the ECM timers, as well as the floating timers for drills, time locks, hacks, pagers... (whenever they are present). It also includes other on-screen numbers such as: FPS meter, IRL clock, levels right next to player names, and some numbers for each player which are "Kills | Jokered enemies | Current downs | Maximum downs (before custody)". As for the latter, _Additional PocoHud trackers,_ I mainly use it for the 3.5s countdown before Sixth sense triggers, but it will also show you trackers for all kinds of things (any skill which has a duration or cooldown). Both are highly customizable so everything can be toggled on and off, depending on what you want!
Hey hello there! This time I decided to include my exact build at the end of the video (even though I don't do that often), timestamp is 31:39. @@y.m.a7374 Maybe in the far future, when I make some videos about loud, I will also explain my prefered build. That's a long ways away though, so if you're interested in some detailed loud builds, you can check KevKild's build guide here! steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2141942312
@@ackwardme I actually have no idea, I'm so sorry! I customized them a long time ago, and there's no interface in the game to check which customizations you chose for a mask... I can see that the colors are black and blue, but I have no idea which hues they are... :(
@@ackwardme You're welcome! And that's a cool option, yeah! Play around with the customization options, and I'm sure you'll even be able to find one that you like more than mine! :D
